I'll bite.

1. The best examples of my recent town play comes from these 2 off site games: SHM3 (off-site (I survived to N1 though lulz) and SHM2.5 (where I survived to endgame). Scum meta is hard to pinpoint, because again, I've really only been mafia off-site. I can't even find GOOD scum meta examples, except for the 1 or 2 games where I was m mafia (same forum as the town games I linked) since those were my first two games (November). If you really want them I guess I could link.
2. I do both, search for who I think HAS to be town, then search the scum, usually both at the same time. Then I narrow stuff down to: "Is this guy failtown or goodscum?" etc.
3. ACTIVE lurking, voting without immediately giving reasons, partclaiming then fullclaiming at another point
4. No, unless you either can't really avoid it or want to out one town read, or when you're claiming.
5. Not really, I highly doubt this game will run into my schooltime though

Where's the contradiction? Instead of ya know just vaguely saying it at least point it out if you want it addressed. DRK/Neto scumteam was pulled from the info in the thread. It's not hard to see you should be able to find it. I guess Ythill's buddying me also then? What does that say about our alignments anyway, you actually forgot to take a stance on that in this post.

Haylen being the only girl in this game would make me think you contradicted yourself in this <_< Also, you're more buddying up to him since you're basically parroting him, and no, he's not buddying to you. As far as alignments? Well let's see, at this point in the game

First point: true. 2nd point: It's not that I don't have scum reads on DRK/Neto (or at least DRK; I view Neto as town NOW, then I didn't, but that's irrelevant), it's that I didn't understand why people labeled them as a scumteam. I am honestly not sure at all if TL is scum because whenever I read his posts, I tend to ask myself what the heck I'm missing, because it is really hard to understand what's going through his mind.

I go through a stream of conciousness most of the time where I write the first thing that pops in my head, and unless it's to counter/ask about something important/make a case, I'll rarely check it over (I did when I tried to argue buddying... btw I have seen that as a scumtell, IRC once (when I first joined there), EpicMafia, on-site, off-site), and it's rarely proven me wrong. I just can't tell whether I'm supposed to discredit what, for me at least, was a close to 100% use scumtell here, I'm just going to give up on that

First, I sort of know Reck's meta, he seems to buddy in all the games I've seen from him (town/scum).

I picked up the name claim from Pie_is_good when it blindsided the scumteam and may have been almost completely responsible for the fact that the game ended up being a draw rather than a scum win (basically it made the PGO obvtown and obvPGO, therefore unlynchable and unkillable). I dunno about you but I'm all for blindsiding the scum team, and I also have reasons to want people to know that I have an unusual and new role, which is why I followed up with a softclaim when the name claim did not go through. Finally, as TheLonging mentioned in his sample meta game, the best way for a nonvanilla town role to gain the trust of the town is to mention the nature of their role as early as possible. Taking all this into account, do you still think the mass flavor claim is scummy?
