o.O. Damn the mod. I was hoping to catch you, and I was hoping the mod hadn't made a mistake. I DO have the voting item, so I am confused as to why the mod told me you didn't send an item last night. I was thinking that perhaps your partner(I'm thinking we have 2 mafia left, only one is dead, right?) had sent it to me, so you were using it as a safe claim to cover holding onto a better item. I was also hoping that he might claim he sent it to his partner, since his partner would confirm it. Then, I'd have trapped both scum. Alas, I know see a small flaw in my plan, though the bigger flaw is that the mod gave me incorrect information last night.

only scum would try to get someone lynched because the mod won't confirm a mistake in the thread. If the mod came in and admitted publicly that there was a mistake, that would basically confirm everything we've said. That's like saying you got a pm that said you were a cop, but you're actually a mason, and your partner calls you out for lying, and the mod comes into the thread and says, "No, I sent you the wrong pm, Bob. You're actually a mason." The mod isn't going to do that in front of everyone unless it's unavoidable (see dichotomafia, for example).

On a similar note, the mod HAS pmed me and clarified that it was meant that Thok didn't send any OTHER items, because the mod thought it evident that I had gotten the loudspeaker from Thok. So, it was simply a mixup between the mod and I.

Quite the lurker, aren't you? I admit freely that I haven't been the most prolific of players, but you've posted no content, and just tried to get someone lynched on a mistake by the mod. Admittedly you weren't aware of the mistake, but you could've checked as soon as you realised it may have been, rather than the nice big 6-in-a-row above .

first of all, I've had to lurk in almost every game I'm in, so don't try to pin that on me, bud. I've made an effort to be more active lately, but I'm also close to failing 3 classes, so I'm a little busy. As for the mistake, how could I know there was a mistake from the mod when I thought Thok was scum? Since using the mailman's hat to watch where people send items is a way to find scum by seeing if they lie about it, I assumed I had caught Thok in a lie. How would I know that the mod made a mistake? And I DID check with the mod as soon as I considered it a real possibility, btw.

Also, as for yesterday, there is a specific reason why I didn't post a lot, in addition to me being busy.

well that makes my job easy. I did well in picking who I trusted ^_^. Thok, I gave you the loudspeaker because I trusted your judgement with it. I didn't want to give scum double voting powers. That's the same reason I keep giving mepmuff the mailman's hat. One question. If you two are masons, why did you risk giving away the mailman's hat instead of passing it between yourselves? I will refrain from voting until I see Thok's response and get a confirmation from Mepmuff.

Personally, I think Nightfall is just trying to muddy the waters. I mean, if he can get you to lynch your own mason buddy, what can't he do? I think one of the town's balancing factors was having 2 masons who could confirm each other, since mafia and town are basically equal on all other accounts, since the items change hands each night. However, it's still something worth looking into.

I believe Nightfall could be scum, and knowing that I'm not scum, I can narrow down the list to you, mepmuff, and thok. I believe their claim, so that leaves you. In addition, I've posted reasons that you could be scum previously, and I still believe they are valid for substantiating a vote, considering you haven't defended yourself adequately. i never said you were scum because of the items you had/didn't have. I made several posts about how the way you were acting made you look scummy today, and you never bothered to respond. If item passing were all there was to it, you wouldn't be voting for me, Nightfall, because the only item I've passed to scum was giving the GBA to CA, and that was a bad thing for him. My vote has nothing to do with items, since you haven't ever had one. Just checking in to say I'm still happy with my vote on Nightfall, although I can change it to MoS if the masons prefer. I don't know if you're buying this garbage that they're throwing at each other. This quote right here seems like the closest thing we've seen to a confiession so far:

CA, you do realize that until the last game day, I wasn't able to be active enough to know what was going on, and therefore didn't trust my vote to be on anyone? By my calculations, I've made about 5 votes this game. One was random, and all the rest have come in the last 3 game days, one of which was while I had the GBA and still wasn't watching the thread much. In addition, being on or of the Gnome bandwagon doesn't mean much. Scum could've just as easily jumped on the bandwagon so they could look more innocent later on. It's just another WIFOM argument, CA.

3. when CA died, I knew it was true. they had to be masons, otherwise we had 4 scum. Your theory involved brother roles, where they each knew each other's alignment and whatnot, IIRC. I do not believe we would have roles like that in a 12-player game. A corrupted masonry is way too powerful for what we have in this game. Seeing as I believed you to be scum, your theories that made it seem possible that Mepmuff or Thok was scum looked like attempts to distract attention away from yourself. Therefore, I had no reason to not trust mepmuff.

I thought we were dead as soon as the item role call took place. I thought for sure the town would have taken out those that started without items first, but some how we survived. And then out of nowhere we get a mason claim... Ouch, it was like sprinting for the finish line and running into a brick wall.

I have to laugh at the fact though that the game ended with Mepmuff's vote, since he was the guy I've been wanting to nightkill ever since night 1. This game probably would have turned out pretty diferently then.

To my Scum buddies> great job guys, we actually did really well. CA- I know you told me it would be risky taking Mepmuff to the final three over Thok, but I thought from the previous day thatMepmuff was more in my corner on the Nightfall vs MOS issue than Thok had been.

I'm a little surprised that my 2nd vote on CA didn't seem to make things much harder for Mepmuff.
