How's this: Everyone vote for someone no one else is voting for. It will help us figure out who the scum are, definitely. Then we might not even need to know what our roles are if we figure out who's killing people.
Note that this is INCREDIBLY dangerous if the scum really do know who each other are, and thus could set someone up...
Also, if the scum really don't know who each other are, and I turn out to be scum... I hope this plan doesn't work...
That would really suck, making up an awesome plan that catches scum, and look at this! It turns out you're scum. = \ Teh suck.back-

Okay, I'll vote Bacade.Bacde wrote:I have to agree that there is little logic in trying to lynch the scummiest player, since the scum don't even know that they are supposed to act scummy.
Thus, I see little point in doing anything besides having each person first claim who they will vote for, and then follow through with it, making sure that each person votes for a different person.
For the slow: I'm just kidding.back-

You really don't get how this sort of game works, huh?

What?bdonlan wrote:I don't think a FOS as such is appropriate, since enderx didn't know if he was scum at the time he voted. Since n_lich got three votes I think it's likely that one of the people voting for him was scum. Unfortunately, people voting incorrectly in the first day has complicated this signifigantly.
FOS: Jentsu, as we're fairly sure that he was voting for n_lich yesterday.
Also, does anyone think it'd be a good idea to do a roll call of who has figured out their role and who hasn't? I don't _think_ this information will benifit the scum, but I might be missing something.
Huh? Why?bdonlan wrote:Was a third person ignoring the plan and voting for n_lich as well? If not I'd say either EnderX or Jentsu is probably scum.
Remeber, guys, I was SUPPOSED to vote for n_lich, it's not like I lied about it. Also, remember the rules, the mafia don't know who each other are, so we didn't go and plan it, and furthermore, why the hell would I, as mafia, make it so plainly obvious that it's me by lynching the person in front of me?
Also, apparently, I have a double-vote, or EnderX has a double-vote, or someone else voted for n_lich. Also, TSAGod and Crola apparently have negative votes... Doctor-ish roles, I guess, which could prevent (if they worked together) up to four people from voting someone.
Really, though, the only person I think is suspicious is bdonlan, for trying to paint me as scum just because I voted the person I was supposed to vote.back-

Although I also hadn't thought of vote reflection, but I don't think that happened here. I think this was a cold, hard act of scum voting for other people.
My guess is that both of them just strangely piled up on the same person as me, voting before the plan went through, just like EnderX did.back-

I was defensive? Yes, I defended myself, because you attacked and singled me out of the three, when I was the one person who was doing things right.bdonlan wrote:Again, according to the mod the scum didn't know who they were on day 1. I do think one of the people on n_lich should be suspect, though I don't know which of them (or indeed if they all are) are the scum. Jentsu _was_ rather defensive though, and that should be taken into account. But until CDT checks in I don't think we should make any final decisions.back-

@bdolan - nevertheless, you still FOS'd the person who actually was supposed to be voting that person. Similarly, it would've been pretty hard to miss that Ender didn't vote his target, and that's why there was another two votes on mine (however, I did miss that there were two people who missed their targets...muh. I'm just confused).back-

Interesting... I'm wondering, is it really at the point where at least one townie would have to vote for, say, Crola before he'd die, thanks to his votedoctoring?
Also, should we continue doing public votes, or keep them secret, so as not to telegraph power roles any further?
Also, How the HELL would a vote-moving power work? Wouldn't that need TWO targets, one for who to change, and one for who to change to? So, what, Bob goes and tells the guy after he's sent in one vote, "Btw, you need to send in a second vote"?back-

I've found I'm a cop. I sent my vote in for PBug the first night like I should have. My PM said, in essence, that he's 'safe'. I thought that meant I was the doc. But last night I voted for Iammars, thinking that, if I was the doc, I could save him in case someone else decided to attack him. However, my role PM came back saying he was "uncool" and such. This makes me believe I'm a cop and that Iammars is mafia. I'm willing to be killed tomarrow if I'm wrong and I'm a paranoid or insane cop, but tonight I'd like to see Iammars dead.
Should I use my vote helping string him up, or to check someone's voting? Obv don't say who if you want the second one, and neither will I, so that I can keep everyone honest for fear of LAL.back-

Aelyn got it from MiseTings, from which I was too lazy to log on to and steal the smilie. That guy, Trey Van Cleave, is famous for sneaking a peak at another guy's cards when he wasn't supposed to. Basically, it's just like *shifty eyes*, kind of meaning like it's a trick.Crola wrote:

Why was I voted, and where did the negative votes go?
Also, I now believe that Iammars' speculation about there only being 2 scum was just to throw us off, seeing as how there's 2 votes for Nai...or maybe he didn't really know and was guessing. Regardless, I believe there are now two scum left.back-

If I'm scum, then I seriously didn't know. =\ I honestly even voted for EnderX yesterday instead of Nai, who I now see I should've voted for. If we were to ask everyone who their votes were for, it would show I'm telling the truth about it, short other scum who know they're scum (apparently two, from the votes on Nai) lying about it.Bacde wrote:You didn't know that you were scum?
Also, how is this possibly an attempt to keep votes off of me? We've had a cop who has proven his sanity nail me as scum. What, is this some sort of scum gambit by him? If it is, how did he know Iammars was scum? I never knew.
Well, actually, he could've been scum with Iammars and they knew, and he turned Iammars in, and I wouldn't have known since I'm not scum...
Meh. =\
