I agree with TSA. I'm not much for an early lynch, but I think we really should do something early. Have all our votes in quickly so day 1 can end and day 2 can begin. We're not gonna get any information if we don't vote, and there's not much point in talking.
The only thing we can come up with today is a plan on our lynches. But the problem is, you only know if someone went through with the plan the next day.
That reminds me...
Mod
, do we see the names of who voted what the next day?

I don't think a dice roll is a good idea. Simply because some people will want to experiment. For instance:
Say the Doc, Cop, AND Mafia all hit the same person. We have no lynch, Cop gets his results, supposedly. but the Doc and Mafia won't know who they are.
I think it would be good to keep the mafia in the dark about themselves, if they don't know who they are already. I think they might actually know. We're shooting in the dark here.
I think we should probably try not to base all of our votes on one person. Maybe just two. That way we can get EXACT roles. If Iammars votes me, and he's vig, he might kill me. Therefore, we know Iammars is vig. But if he AND doc vote me, I dont die, so we don't know anything about them. We'd probably just think that a roleblocker got someone, or something.

Actually, there is, but it would mean sacrificing our lynch. Everyone votes for a seperate person. Hard to pull off, as some people would vote otherwise simply to spite the plan.
Here's what we could do. Have two people vote one person, and the rest vote seperate people. We have a majority for a lynch, and then we get more accurate results on everyone else.
Mind, there are still chances that we'll have a doc land on the majority. But it's a lot less likely. This way, we'll also see right quick how many killing groups we have. That's also the downside of the plan. If we have more than one killing group, we could be giving the scum a heck of an advantage.

I'm going to guess that Lich had the ability to add on extra votes after he learned his role, and every three game days he was able to add three extra votes. Just my guess, from the way it's worded.

Well, night was incredibly short, so they might not know we're back in session. Give them some time.
My question is, if they're scum, why didn't they kill someone last night? It seemed our departed Lich was killed by a majority. Though, I wouldn't be suprised if Mafia got an extra half a point of vote or so each to help get the majority.

He might, Ender, but if you take his speculation to be accurate, it's very possible. If you have three scum that have to land all of their votes on the same person, you'll have... Well, I"m not going to do the math, but a very, VERY low chance of the scum ever killing someone. They can't talk to each other without it being in thread. So either they convince everyone to kill that guy anyways, do a split vote with 3 on someone (it was reccommended...) or you have two people that have much higher chances.

I voted for PBug last night and got confirmation as such. Hmm... I wonder...
I've got a question. I was sent a PM right before day dawned. Was anyone else sent a PM at about that time? I think Iammars and Jentsu have gotten one, but I missed anyone else.

But why not say 'I disagree'? Sounds like a claim for a posting restriction, and those generally turn out scummy.
In any case, I think we might need to consider what the voting strategy is tonight. I'd like to test something, regarding my role, to see if I understand this correctly. Any ideas?

Well, my second PM of the night had some interesting words, but I'm not sure if I'm exactly sure what they meant. However, with what I think they meant, I don't want to be voting for the same guy everyone else is.

I'm fairly sure that my voting for a person would screw up the entire thing. That's why I need to have one more night to test my theory. My PM wasn't exactly forthright with what it gave. It basically stated "Dude, the thing is done, dude." In more words. So I'm not quite sure what was happening.
Sounds like most of you got very simple PMs, though.

I'm not going to vote for Beaker. I'd like to vote for Iammars, but I'm not sure how my role would effect that result. I'll pass, and consider who I want to vote for.

This is a hard choice to make, but I feel I have to do it. Already posting about it today was a bad mistake. Was hoping I could play it right, but... This has turned into a silent WIFOM situation for me.
I've found I'm a cop. I sent my vote in for PBug the first night like I should have. My PM said, in essence, that he's 'safe'. I thought that meant I was the doc. But last night I voted for Iammars, thinking that, if I was the doc, I could save him in case someone else decided to attack him. However, my role PM came back saying he was "uncool" and such. This makes me believe I'm a cop and that Iammars is mafia. I'm willing to be killed tomarrow if I'm wrong and I'm a paranoid or insane cop, but tonight I'd like to see Iammars dead.

I want him to be lynched. And you're right Crola, insane, not Paranoid. I havn't been in enough games with either of them.
Iammars, this is the first you've said of your Vote Coppage and your testing on Beaker today. Convenient that you couldn't have said anything BEFORE I came out. You've been fishing for information since day dawned. Wanting to know where all the votes were. If you know who voted who, you can get a great idea of what everyone's roles are. You've already started speculations on growing votes. This gives you a great idea on who to kill at night.

Note the all important word "today" in my post. You havn't really stated anything about beaker at all today until I said you were mafia. I still hold that you are mafia. As such, my vote's going for you.

My result still says you are mafia. Jentsu, did you get YOUR result in the middle of the day? Or, rather, has anyone gotten their results before night?

No, I don't think we got a different kill because of a kill-redirect, or some such move. Iammars shuld be dead. There's something wrong, and I think either someone that didn't believe me, or one of his scum buddies changed the votes/kill.

I wasn't guessing. I wish I could say my scumdar was that good, but I just had a lucky hit. My message last night was interesting. Apparently, my spirit had a sneaking suspicion about Iammars. Maybe an on-death trigger?

Mr. Flay, it was
me
who got the message about his scummyness. Tonight I'll have to vote against the grain to find another scum. Not exactly sure who I want to target, but I have some ideas.
Confirmation from the mod: that little suspicious bit was just flavor, so he didn't have to write the same thing four nights in a row :p

Pretty much. I think we should just go to night as fast as we can. I'll check another person, everyone else can continue to tinker with their votes. If Iammars wasn't just pulling our chain, he had no idea he was mafia. I think we're still trying to figure out who IS mafia. The mafia, too, I mean.

Maybe, Crola. But look at the previous days. We're not getting ANYWHERE since no one seems to know about themselves! The MAFIA don't seem to know they are scum. I'd like night so I can investigate someone and try to find another mafia. To me, it seems the only option at the moment.

Dude, Crola. You havn't been posting much more than the rest of us. Waiting twelve hours for people to come up to your call to arms isn't much good. We NEED a night. The game is stagnating, there's no action in it. We can't find scum because there's nothing to base it on. We cant work off votes because we can't prove who voted who. It's barely good enough to work off of day talk, because we can't be sure our votes will kill the right person! I want night so I can investigate again. I've wasted my past three investigations while voting for Iammars.

At this point, I'd rather believe that I am just lucky and not paranoid. And I'd also like to have more than a majority on Jentsu. Mostly for the reason that we can never tell who is telling the truth, and we don't know how the votes lie until tomarrow, and then we have to hope people tell the truth about who they voted. Plus, there was that incident with the majority with Iammars that didn't kill him.

Crola, I'm not sure if it's a strategy to get out of votes. He KNOWS that the votes are final (save for specific people). So feigning ignorance AFTER most people say they're voting for him isn't all that intelligent. \

Wait. NOW, after all of this, you've decided I'm paranoid? After I caught one of the scum? After people are sending in votes because of my investigation? Damn, wish I hadn't sent in my vote already. I want to investigate you now. We'll see in twilight if I'm paranoid or not. And if I'm not, I know who's getting my vote tomarrow.

Merry Christmahanakwanzaka from your Non-Denominational Holiday Figure! Enjoy your Christmas, or whatever you celebrate, everyone!
In other news, I'll be gone from the 26th of December (tomarrow) to somewhere around the first of January. I'll be unable to post for most of it. Sorry about this news. If replacing is needed, that's fine. Though, since the game is plodding along, I'd rather not. I'm a fast reader and catch-upper.

I voted Crola to get information on him. But I got back nothing. It said he had dissapeared, like our day scene says, and that my spirit couldn't tell me anything. We're flying blind today. Luckily, we got scum anyways. I think, like I suggested before, we should head to night soon. I'm not sure who to check out though, yet.

We don't have one right now. I'm working on finding another. We have two choices: Find scum by hoping we can get scum tells (not very likely), or me finding more.
I'd like to know who voted for me yesterday. Probably our latest deceased, but I'd like to know if any live person did so.
