The third was I could acquire a random role within the game for a night. As far as I know, it just copied a random role and gave it to me.

To say the least, I've done a lot more in claiming than most people have.

I picked what I did because choosing an ability in the game is far better than randomly getting one. The doublevoting condition is only going to be in effect if I hammer scum. I'll contribute a lot more to a game having something set in stone like my third ability, the one I chose.

That's more or less why I had a problem with the lynch, not to mention I thought he was town. I sure as fuck didn't think he'd get insta-wagoned. I went to bed early for the first time because I was tired that night and came back to find the activity took a fly long enough to get a lynch. At that point, I had pretty much figured out what happened but was holding my breath.

Also, no, everyone who was a part of the town was the reason we lost. Every one of us. It wasn't any specific group of players. Going into the game D1, it was just terrible. It was like I was looking at a Halo chatlog. I, for one, know I could've done more but I was apathetic about it all. I wanted to roll a lynch through and see what happened. Turns out I couldn't even use my role because I got trolled hard by AV. It was too hostile from the start and the general attitude as well as everyone's failing to grasp certain concepts of the game that ruined it. I'm not sure why, but I've noticed these things, especially the hostility, are starting to become part of site meta. That's not a good thing. You have to be willing to believe the impossible in these games sometimes because dumb stuff happens. I can say from personal experience you have to be prepared for dumb stuff because town has actually done it in more of my games than scum have, whether it be bad claims, bad gambits, terrible night actions, etc. Judging alignments from that doesn't work. It just doesn't. In the last day, I honestly think we had the best chance we did of winning the game simply because we eliminated those inconsistencies. I'm literally baffled that a quicklynch went through after all that lurking.
