THE RULES

1.) Deadline:

The Day phase will last 2 weeks starting from the thread unlocking. When the deadline is up, the greatest majority will end up being lynched. If there is a tie, the one with the first vote gets lynched. If requested, I will extend the deadline for a day.

The Night phase will have a 48 hour deadline. If the actions are not sent by that time, then it will be taken that you wanted to do nothing that night.

2.) Voting:

The vote is the most powerful tool in any mafia game, except for Tarhalindur's roles. In order to use it properly in this game, you must place vote in this format-

Vote: {insert player name}

It is not necessary to unvote to change votes but if you wish to just take your vote off then please bold as well. If you wish to no lynch, then type-

No Lynch

Vote counts will be posted daily... hopefully.

3.) Lynching and Dead People:

Once a majority has been reached (Half the living players plus one), then the thread will be locked and the lynch scene shown. The start of the next day, I dont mind one "bah" post so long as it doesn't reveal information.

4.) Prods:

After 72 hours of not posting, you will receive a friendly little prod. The prod means you have another 48 hours to post before I find someone who actually wants to play my game. If I fail to see someone and announce their prod, a gentle reminder is appreciated.

I am lenient on Prods because I would be a hypocrite otherwise, but if give too many of them then I will be forced to replace you.

5.) V/LA

Just let me know if you going to be absent from the game for a bit either by PM or in thread. Please state when you will be able to return.

6.) Player Rules

I seriously doubt I will Mod Kill anyone but if you are, the game will immediately go into night phase.

As the Mod, what I says goes for this game so I reserve the right to screw with my own rules in case something is wrong or something needs to be added.

Melmond was an SK that could send mod messages at day start. He had the option to tree stump himself after death or be able to continue making night kills after death. In hindsight, I wouldn't let Melmond kill after death once lylo hits so limiting his after death kills would have been a good idea.

Him having an after death kill did not hamper scum. You had three scum, one bodyguard, and one untargetable. You were decently protected against killing roles. The only reason scum made it to lylo and stood a chance of winning was because of Melmond so I dont see how this was imbalanced for scum.

The point of the roles we received for this game was to get the flavor to sorta match up. It wasn't easy in some cases... (Hot pocket?)

Why would he do either? Both of these options allow him to majorly influence the game for whichever side he wanted.

Why is it bad for him to influence the game? An SK is hard position to win from so I gave him a little incentive to actually be able to enjoy the game. What choice would you have picked?

B-S! Hell, I could have slid to LyLo without the extra kills. I'm not worried about his fucking kills, I'm worried about the setup-fucking. I guess it serves me right for trying to "outguess the mod," but I played the way I do: helping town.

That doesn't change the fact that he didn't hurt you. Melmond's kills could not hamper you other then you second guessing the setup like you said. I you play to help town, then just play the game. Dont worry about the second kill especially if you are untargetable :/

The problem with this game was players assuming things and making bad decisions based on it. Not all games use standard roles especially when it comes to a UPick game. I didn't advertise it as a bastard game because... I didn't think it was. I didn't know what the set up would be. I just know that unique roles were used and the game had an interesting twist because of it. Sorry if this offended some players or they felt something was unbalanced.
