I am basically in agreement with sucrose's post . Keyblade goes in like saying that he wants the game moving forward. He makes a L-2 vote on a shitty wagon with a shitty excuse and leaves for VLA. I expect Followup after returning.

Levi's confrontation with Kitori is suspect. I'm having trouble following him on whether he (Levi) thinks that kitori is scum or not or when he thinks that. He is on the fence when he votes, but when accosted by Kitori and Xalxe he leads to think that Kitori is scum. Last he placed Sucrose and Kitori as scum, At least one of them. But with practically no explanation. His fear of being lynch this early is also notable. His assurance that he is town is not really a scum tell for him, since he does that when he is pressured as town.

I was convinced that Levi was scum in the last game we played and he ended up being town. This makes me hesitant to vote for him now. I certainly want more information on the table. And I also want to compare that game's meta, to see what I can find.

Vote KeyBladeUser

@KeyBlade: I want followup on your vote.

@Xalxe: What's your opinion on Keyblade and lurker

@Lurker: What's your opinion on Levi's Wagon? I would also like to know what your opinion was on the Kitori wagon at the time you voted for PV? (updating the question in the above post.)

About Levi's wagon, I personally side with Levi on this issue, as in he made a non-RVS point (Don't be too lynch-happy) in RVS, While the Rebuttal by Kitori had to do with Xaxle calling Levi scum, It seems that drawing attention off of the Obv Rvs L-1 Wagon that some members were still on Kitori for, from Xaxle which seems a bit overrated of the danger of Xaxle by Kitori. Conversley, the amount of filler in the unvote on Leviathan does make it seemed a bit contrived.

Was going over the first few pages when I saw this. Why did you want another bandwagon?

Two rivaling bandwagons would mean that people would have to choose who is scummier, which would mean reads, choices, and favoring one person over the other in which would have in theory helped with the discussion purposes.

Yes I do.

You know the Timeshift?

Well, I had a very special role.

A 1-shot role.

One time only, I could make all night actions resolve on their normal times.

So I'm a vanilla now.

That is why actions came through.

Then why in the world did you do it on Night 1, of all nights? You do realize that with the Timeshift we get basically an extended Day 1 had you not used your power?

Regardless, I could see this more as a mafia power than a town power, but that's just gut.

I did it to prove my role since I was people's scum list DP1.

Cool, you answered the question that's easy to answer ("how was reading the thread?") but ignored the one that I actually wanted to know. Please answer it. It has been quoted below for your convenience.

In post 236, Lastsurvivor wrote:And how's that whole voting LS yesterday thing going.

Rather - voting LS yesterday and then quoting me (in what I assume is agreement) about Lurker.

OH ALSO, could you please explain why I've gone down from a vote to a FoS? What changed?
OH ALSO ALSO, I wasn't pressuring Lurker because he hadn't posted. Why do you expect me to waste my energy posting about someone who was lurking?

------

Lurker, why did you vote Lev after saying he was town?
Also, why weren't you posting in this game while posting elsewhere on site?

The reason why I voted is what I saw his giant list of reads unprovoked as a flood tactic.

A lot of material that if seen as legitimate analysis would get him off the hook and on people's town list again.

However, seeing as his unvote speech length was a bit contrived to look too townish, his subsequent posts mirrored that pattern too much for me to still see him as town.

And also, a few questions:
What is your read on me, HD, Bitmap, Angel and Sucrose? Explain.
Why, after I told you your vote on Angel was scummy, did you immediately unvote? What good would that do? Did you think I would drop my read on you even if you did that? If so, why?
Do you think Lurker shouled be lynched for quickhammering?
How in the world do you expect me to believe you that you don't have a scum role if you just say so.

May or may not change my vote based on KBW answer.

@KBW: Here. Answer all of these questions, please.
We may be friends, but that doesn't mean I won't attack you. Remember that.

After the last page, I'm pretty confident of my townread on Human Destroyer. Arc remains scum, but KBW is still worse in my opinion.

An example, if you may:
Screw you Human Destroyer. I've suspected Arc for a while now, so just shut up

Non-information post. Simply refutes Human Destroyer.

@Sucrose: Since you say that Guille or Lastsurvivor are people you don't have reads on, what are your reads on everyone else?

@Lurker: Get out here, now. What are your thoughts on KBW and Angel?

Reads:

Town(S>W): HD, Kit, Sucrose

Null(Town>Scum): LS, Guille, Bitmap

Scum(S>W): KBW, Arc, Lurker

Oh cool. Three in each category.
Guille needs to post more.
LS has posted a fair bit of content, but not as much as my townread, and in my opinion, not as important.
Agreed with Sucrose's case on Bitmap.
Reading through Literal Music Video Mafia and seeing somethings, including that Bitmap, who was town in that game, didn't make too many points and was inactive, somewhat, but posted more content than in here.
That will not make me vote him yet, as KBW is still scummier.

Call for the scumteam is probably KBW/Arc/Lurker.
KBW's flip will help me decide if Angel is scum.

I personally Find ArcAngel leaning slightly town. She's seems to not contributed too much until after page 5, which she begins to get into it. She Really increases the pace, making me think the obvious getting back into it has been fulfilled, and not an excuse to lurk.

I hope to come back to KeyBladeWarrior in a bit.

@ Post 446: The reason I used my "Time-Warp" ability. (Doesn't really have a name)

Now, when we look at the game mechanics, we see that everything is 1 phase behind in terms of night actions. What happens is we lose it for a np, but we get it back next np.
In short, moving lag up one phase.

Now what does this do from a town perspective?

#1 We can see our first night actions, which can indicate motives, associative tells, and other such things that we now have the additional time to pick apart.
#2 It sets the "free" lynch 1 phase back, when we have more information to better make use of it.
#3 It proves my role.
#4 With a Flip on Xaxle, we can assume that Kitori is most likely town due to the intense push on the wagon, the fact that Kitori made the case in the first place, we have enough information to narrow down our scum pool.

That's what I personally think, whether it be true or not.

In regards to Sucrose

My mild townread is mainly because of this post: otherwise her play has been null for me.
In post 257, Sucrose wrote:Alright, I was hoping Lurker would post so I could get a better picture of if I'm right about this or not, but since he's apparently not going to show up I'll go ahead and post this:

You guys voting Lurker are barking up the wrong tree. Let's think about it. Scum-Lurker quickhammers.......someone he knows is a vanilla townie. Does this make sense? Was there any chance that Levi
wasn't
going to be the day's lynch? No, there wasn't. Was scum-Lurker protecting another scum player by quickhammering? No, because Levi was the only person with any sort of serious suspicion on them. Lurker's hammer doesn't make any damn sense for scum, and in fact this whole thing, and how quick people were to vote him for it, makes me think he's town.

Now, maybe I'm wrong and Lurker is just an erratic player, town or scum, but really I see this episode as pointing to more town than scum.

Nope. VOTE: Bitmap

Bitmap here stays off of the Levi wagon, but doesn't really attack it either. Then today he sheeps suspicion of Lurker, then sheeps a vote on him immediately after someone else does, when it looks like the suspicion of Lurker is unanimous. He timidly throws suspicion on ArcAngel without actually saying what he finds scummy. He's made a total of
2
sentences with content in 12 posts. Scummy. Really scummy. I like my gut feeling on this one.

Reading the last page, ArcAngel is also extremely scummy.

Also, for the record, Lurker is at L-2 right now, not L-1.

At this point a large Lurker bandwagon had already been built up, all for the same reason: the quickhammer. Sucrose explains why it doesn't make sense as scum. That, to me makes her town because I feel that Sucrose wouldn't defend Lurker if she was scum, knowing that the quickhammer would make for an easy lynch.

Now this could also just be scum Sucrose defending scum Lurker, but I find it to be highly unlikely due to how Lurker's role works.

Her giving a point on Bitmap when the main wagons were on KBW and Arc respectively seems to be townish, because I feel scum Sucrose would just easily hop on one of the bandwagons to get an easy lynch on one of the two.

In regards to me

I didn't know Levi's meta previously, but I blame myself for not doing research. Even so, there were more scumtells in this game than the completed game I have with him.

I have reasons for why quickhammering is always bad for the town, even though it could come from both town and scum.
There is literally no incentive for any townie to quickhammer. A few reasons:
It ends the day early, thus preventing vital information that could be gained.
A rash, reckless quickhammer could hit town when he could just be misunderstood.

Meanwhile, the mafia have an incentive for them to quickhammer. A reason:
It ends the day early, thus preventing vital information for the town to use.

In regards to my tunneling, yes, I do tunnel quite a bit.

With the Sucrose and Bitmap case, I agreed with the case, yes, but I didn't feel it was strong enough to warrant Bitmap to be on my scumlist, especially since I think KBW is scummier.

Now,I'm not going to getin a reckless flame war any time soon but I will say this:

Quickhammering can be interpreted as town too.

http://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?tit ... sane_Tells

"It's a simple tell. I've seen it dozens of time.

In 742, Caleb (town) recklessly hammered Datadanne.

In that same game, Jeff (m. goon) had the chance to hammer, but didn't, thinking it was the pro-town thing to do and that to not do so would look scummy. Instead, the wagon stopped, and he got lynched.

In 763, Tubby had the chance to hammer, but didn't. For the exact same reason: he thought it was pro-town to show caution. He got lynched instead. See the pattern?

In Polygamist Mafia, Zazie insisted that we shouldn't hammer when we had the chance to. Caution. Guess who lost the game? We did. I was hammered day one.

So, basically, this tell in simplest words,

Caution is a scum tell, where Recklessness is a Town Tell. "

It all depends on how you interpret it.

It's like WIFOM: Both sides have reasoning that could be legit.

There are reasons for scum to quickhammer: There are reasons for them not to quickhammer.
