That only ended up being two points. But I thought a bit about the setup:
The jester's role PM references "all non-town factions". My best guess would be 3 scum + 1 SK (Maybe 2 scum? I'm not that great with setups. Maybe even 2+2), which makes some sense based on the number of PRs town has. If we assume two factions the following are the outcomes:
1. Lynch town. Jester + 1 town are dead.
2. Lynch jester. Jester + 2 town are dead.
3. Lynch scum. Jester + 1 scum are dead.
I've never played in a game with a jester before, and it's a bit of a sucky role. However, I don't think the right choice is to randomize, based on the statistics. Option 1 is the most likely if we randomize, but it is not too much better than option 2. Option 3 is clearly the best option.

My suggestion would be to let the day progress instead, and possibly let jon randomize the kill between the most scummy players towards the end.

Here's my problem with this. I still like the random because guess what losing 1 town isn't bad and we gain a full day with only 1 kill and scumhunt from there. Its a simple win win
