This is kinda scummy. In the other greatest idea mafia game i played someone suggested something similar and it was shot down. Since the more cards you reveal, the easier it would be for scum to know what cards are already used, and can therefore fake claim.

Yes, I did propose that claim as the SK, but only because it's the first thing I would have done as town, and wanted to earn some points by saying it first. The moment I was given the opportunity, I turned around and started fighting against it. -Not because I suddenly realized how dangerous it was for the town, but because of how dangerous it is for the scum.

In my last GIM game town lynched scum everyday but town still lost. Why? Because there were too many scum in the game. Every single town member we have is crucial and should be kept alive at all cost if we want to stand a chance at preventing scum from outnumbering us. As noted, the role is greatly reduced in power by claiming. Enabling aside (which I wasn't aware of when answering), if there is a SK he's likely to target the FBI agent on the next night. I think it was a poor move, and if my predecessor hadn't claimed, I wouldn't have. The enabling thing now works in my favor I suppose, as I'm essentially a VT and don't pose a particular threat to anyone.

What's the theory behind everyone claiming? With so many roles, and some possibly duplicated roles, it wouldn't be that difficult for scum to make a town claim that would hold up.

I don't remember who said it, but the idea was to just claim the alignment cards so scum couldn't fake claim.
After that full claims started coming out around end of day 1 into day 2.

It's already there. I believe town has to fight the lynch and believed that she might be town as she claimed (and already explained what I thought she was doing). Plus I've seen her elsewhere and she's a bit of an odd duck so I wasn't sure about her slot.

As for PB, "I will do X if town doesn't do Y" always annoys me a bit. I'm resistant to being told what to do.

Main drivers of my wagon is elusive. I believe I delivered a solid response against her case to me in my 843, which elusive hasnt responded to. And farside's main/sole reason for pushing for me is because she doesn't like my town read on crowlage/persivul.

I'm not tricking people with claims. It's a simple process. You predecessor claimed something. Someone is obviously lieing in the table of claimed cards. An easy way to test this is to get the replacement to claim to see if their claims contradicts their predecessors claims. And if it does, only scum needs to fakeclaim in this kind of setup. Which would mean that you are scum if your claim contradicts with your predecessor.

I'm not seeing the tricking.

I can see why you would think that it is quite suspicious to see duplicate cards but I disagree. Every card has as much probability to be chosen as any other card. So seeing duplicates doesn't suggest anything. Since getting duplicates is the same probability as getting two different cards.

PB - his claim is telling me town, his actions speaks otherwise. But I think his quickness to claim is quite town. And he just plays somewhat anti town. Town read.

Crowlage - I'll believe his claim. Though I don't know if there was really any need to claim. Town read.

See this is where elusive makes no sense.
I have no targeting ability. Even Soren made a point about that day one when I voted and pushed Jeannie lynch thinking if everyone can target but me, I lose. Elusive had no such might set.
This was why I was able to empathize with PB.
