Nope, she really was/is a town FBI agent. It's pretty useless now that it's out. If there is a SK I'll get killed tonight unless protected, and there's probably better roles to protect. If there isn't a SK I'm effectively a VT.

Why did you look to see if your predessor claimed before claiming?

As noted, the role is greatly reduced in power by claiming. Enabling aside (which I wasn't aware of when answering), if there is a SK he's likely to target the FBI agent on the next night. I think it was a poor move, and if my predecessor hadn't claimed, I wouldn't have. The enabling thing now works in my favor I suppose, as I'm essentially a VT and don't pose a particular threat to anyone.

What's the theory behind everyone claiming? With so many roles, and some possibly duplicated roles, it wouldn't be that difficult for scum to make a town claim that would hold up.

Well, I did sign up for your Dating Game Mafia...

Anyway, here's my reasoning on Soren. If I were town, had a wagon going on me, and a new replacement came in, I would present the replacement with a solid case explaining why I'm town, with post links and such. Also possibly a case on my biggest scum read.

But, Soren immediately asked me to claim, hoping I would say something different from my predecessor, so he could catch me in a lie and push a lynch all liars wagon. He's looking for an easy way to survive another day. This is scummy.

I asked your thoughts on pressure v. lynch because I don't want to put someone at L-1 without some buy-in from others. Just generally not a good idea.

Don't have much time right now but FWIW:

- Since RC was killed and was mafia kill immune, that seems to indicate we have a SK or other third party left. Is there anything like a town-aligned night vig or other town role that can explain that kill?

- If there's a SK, then unless there was only one scum to begin with, it may be that town has already lost, and we're just playing along to see if SK or mafia win

Persivul I find it odd that you haven't said who you used your FBI Agent ability on last night. I would think that's an important topic to broach since people have brought up SKs more than once in this day phase. Why is that?

Because it's already out that I had an enabler who was killed, and so I'm just a VT now. I verified that with mod.

OK, let's see how this could play out.

If it's 2-2-1 town-mafia-SK then I believe town loses in all lynch/no lynch scenarios.

If it's 3-1-1 and we don't lynch:
1. mafia kills town, SK kills town,

town loses

2. mafia kills town, SK kills mafia, tomorrow it's 2-0-1,

town can win by lynching SK

3. mafia and SK target same town, tomorrow it's 2-1-1, successful lynch makes it 2-0-1 or 2-1-0, after NK

town loses

If it's 3-1-1 and we lynch:
4. town,

town loses

5. the SK, tomorrow it's 2-1-0,

town can win by lynching mafia

6. mafia, then tomorrow it's 2-0-1,

town can win by lynching SK

So the only way a no lynch helps is if both farside and bert are town, AND at night SK kills the one mafia out of 4 choices.

Not at all sure this is correct, please point out errors if you see them.

As it is, lynching seems like a better option.

Look at my 1052. Unless I missed something, town has better chance of winning with a lynch. I suggest you reconsider and vote farside, or I'll listen to a case for voting bert. Voting no lynch or just giving up isn't going to help. Town's chances are slim but we can't be certain that we're out of it.

GG. I figured there was one mafia and one SK. Even if we lynched one of them, the other would kill town, leaving 1-1 and town endgamed. So, the only town hope was for a cross kill.
