1) Nether crumbed VT early on. Nether claims he crumbed Ghoul only. Ghoul can only be a VT though.
2) Nether has basically sheeped anything else with a pulse.
3) When I try to work with the rest of the town to lynch Nether, highlighting Nether's play, I'm suddenly wagoned.
4) When I was merely suspecting Nether, I wasn't a suspect at all.
5) Nether has put in cases full of lies on us.
6) Nether hasn't scumhunted but just tried to spam out us and say we're wrong.

This case is deeply flawed. I mean, you may be right that he's scum, but that's a coincidence because your case is nothing but confbias.

I think scum opposed the Shirowagon after he claimed. The ones who kept pushing it up until Firebringer claimed was vezo and ABR. I think it is ulikely that any of them are scum. vezo have also claimed vig so he is highly unlikely to be scum.

inte also threw in a vote on Shiro, but without any pressure or push. So his behaviour on the Shiro wagon is a null.

Those who opposed it was Vedith, Netherspite, FA_Q2 and Shinobi.

Vedith - I kind of have a townread on from the way he tried to spark activity back into the thread near the end of day 1. So I won't go here for today (even though I don't like his vote on me, without any reason).

Netherspite - Even though his iso doesn't say alot, I think he is the least scummy of the 3 remaining. He was defending Shiro so hard, if he was scum and knew Shiro was his teammate I don't think he would have defended him that hard.

FA_Q2 - Have been pushing inte and Performer. Other thant that not that much going on in his iso. I get a little suspicious that Shinobi labels him as a townread in one of his/hers posts. Slightly more scummy than Netherspite.

Shinobi - Haven't been really pushing anyone at all. His posts looks uninspired and he even wrote that he was bored in one of them, sounds like scum making excuses. Also didn't defend Shiro that hard, just named him town and moved on. I think Shinobi should be our lynch today.

There's a key tendency in Bard's play that I was able to capitalize on. He makes rationalizations based on players he can't conceivably lynch, mentally marks them for death in the night, while constructing reads from the starting point of his townreads. He focuses his attention on those who opposed the Shiro wagon, namely, Vedith Nether, FA, and Shinobi. But he gives Vedith the highest ranking in this list. He set up Vedith in a previous post, quoted below:

I think we need to just kille Firebringer today, if not we will have the same poor activity on day 2, where most people just use FB's claim as an excuse not to discuss anything and not to scumhunt.

This is the advance preparation for calling Vedith town.

The threat is more powerfull than the execution.

This time I didn't have to hammer, but I assure you I would have done it. Vedith intent to hammer was much weaker,as he never intended to lynch him. But it still provided info, both Nether and Shinobi didn't want the lynch at the time but didn't unvote, they both get some scummy points for that.

This time Nether threatened me with a lynch the next day instead of unvoting. This gives him scumpoint because if he is scum and inte is not, he knows this and he knows I am town. If this is the case he would let me hammer a townplayer and set me up for lynch for next day (as some of you have mentioned allready).

FA on the other hand get townpoints for removing his vote for the time to give inte more time. If inte flips scum at a later pont FA's unvote will have to be questioned.

Bard is less likely to have bussed his last scumbuddy as in the above, than to have called him town, such as with Vedith. He's parroting what vezok and I said about Shinobi and Nether not unvoting at L-1, and then says he would have hammered inte, just like Vedith gave intent to do. He's backing up Vedith again. They were both trying to lynch inte Day 1, angling for a hammer.

Spoiler: Day 1 Scum Strategy

Scum's day 1 strategy is straightforward. Identify the traitor, protect him, mislynch town. They know there's a traitor and we don't, so they will use that to their advantage and blatantly fight against those (me and vezok) trying to lynch who they think could be a traitor. Look at how strongly they defend the claimed third parties, and how they point to me and vezok as scum as a result of us trying to rightfully lynch claimed 3p Shiro and FB.

This Shiro claim really baffles me. I don't understand why you would claim at this point. The timing of the claim brings very little information to the table, and Shiro was not really pressured. So I find it somewhat suspicious.

On the other hand the claim itself, the flavor of it makes sense, Arthas would need to be turned to be a part of the Undead Scourge, and dieing before this would result in him not having become part of the Undead Scourge. Also the fact that Shiro earlier talked about Arthas makes this claim believable to me.

I find vezopirakas reasoning for voting Shiro after the claim strange though. He says his main reason for voting him is ABR's reasons, which to me seems weak (Trying to hard to appear not dangerous??). He also says he'd vote someone who he beleives isn't scum but thrid party. That seems scummy to me. If Shinro's claim is true then he will clearly be part of the town, and would help to further towns chances to win. Lynching Shiro if you believe him to not be scum is a bad move for town.

Considering I was first to vote Bard, and I was open to vote them all day even when no focus was on them.

Vedith says that he was the first to vote Bard, and he was open to voting them all day. These two things ring true. But how likely is it that these two behaviors were part of his strategy to safely distance? Let's have a look.

Yeah I'll go here for now.

Vedith put a first vote on the Silver Bard early into Day 2, with zero votes or pressure on Bard. It's a weak vote, no reasoning, even the wording suggests that the vote is temporary, and he doesn't ask anyone to follow him. This looks like the prototypical distancing vote. You get to vote your partner while town fight themselves, with no real pressure or risk to your partner.

The kicker is that he stops talking about Bard for the next 10-20 posts and then comes back with this:

I wouldn't be happy with a Netherspite lynch at all today.
CotW isn't in my town slot and Bard is in my scum slot. I'm happy to focus on these 2.

He never explains his suspicions about Bard, and then he prepares to jump on CotW because the heat is turning up on them. He does it in this post:

I'm by far the most powerful player in this game at this point. Nobody suspects me, and I have carte blanche to influence the votes. Vedith is wary of an investigative role nailing Bard the night before, and so he has to balance his suspicion of Bard with mislynching town. The second most powerful player in this game is Anatole, because vezok killed Shiro, the traitor. Anatole is second because there are people who think he could still be a SK.

But together, we are controlling the town discussion and votes by this point, and Vedith knows this.

Lynching CotW is bad.

I interpret this as subtle coaching from Vedith to Bard. He's saying "Bard, you need to either vote for CotW, or find another mislynch, or you will die today."

This was one of the rare times that Vedith talked to Bard while CotW was distracting everyone with massive drama, self-defeating antics, and personal attacks. Notice how the scum don't have day talk, in their role pms.
