Votes, Lynching, Death
Votes must be in the format of VOTE: Netherspite (vote tags) or
VOTE: Netherspite
(bold tags). Abbreviations, missing punctuation, and misspellings will be accepted as long as it is obvious to me who is being voted for. If I perceive it as a vote, it will count as a vote.
Unvotes are not necessary to change a vote, but you can use them if you like.
A player will be lynched if a majority of the players have voted for that player; when that happens, no further votes/unvotes will have any effect.
You may vote for a
No Lynch
. If a majority of players vote for a
No Lynch
, the game will proceed to Night without a lynch.
The above will also happen if no majority has been reached before the deadline.
All living players, including the one who was lynched, may continue to post during twilight (until the thread is locked).
After you are dead, you may not post again.
Activity
If a player doesn't post in-game after a period of 48 hours, they will be prodded.
If a player is prodded, they have 24 hours to make an in-game post before a replacement will be found.
If a player receives multiple prods and/or prod-dodges excessively, they will be subject to a force-replace.
If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period, let me know by either posting a notice inthread or PMing me.
Setup generation
Exact setup will be generated using random.org.
Setup will be re-randomized if one of the following conditions will not be met:
There should be either none of the
masonry
and
cult
or both of them in the game.
Game mechanics
If there are
no deaths
during 3 consecutive day & night phases, the town will win the game.
Death Notes
: When Mafia or Neutral killing role is submitting a night kill action they can send any text along as a "Death Note". This text will be found on the victim's corpse at morning and revealed to the town.
Players cannot target themselves unless such possibility is specified explicitly in their role PM.
Players cannot target dead players.
1v1 tie resolution:
if game will come down to a player versus player at the start of a day, it will conclude with roles winning in the following priority order:
Arsonist
Serial Killer
Mass Murderer
Town Citizen
Mafia
Cult
Witch / Auditor / Judge (they also can with with all the above factions together besides Town Citizen)
Jester / Executioner / Amnesiac / Survivor (they can win together with anyone as long as their win condition is met)
Other townies
Misc
Any night actions not submitted by the night deadline will be forfeited.

Night actions resolution order:
Jailor/Kidnapper detains target
Night discussion (Mafia chat, Mason chat, Cultist chat, and Jailor chat)
Bulletproof vests are used
Target switches and role-blockers
Priority order is Witches, Bus Drivers, then role-blockers (Escort or Consort).
Framer frames someone, Arsonist douses/undouses, and other miscellaneous role actions happen.
Killing roles and suicides act simultaneously.
Jailor, Vigilante, Mafioso and Godfather, Serial Killer, Arsonist, Mass Murderer, Jester, Disguiser, and leavers in that order (being killed in a previous event does not matter, however), Bodyguard, Bus Driver, and Witch indirect kills/suicides happen throughout in the applicable areas.
Every time a player with neutral or mafia killing role submits a night kill choice they may also specify any text as a "Death Note".
This text will be revealed along with the flip if the target will die from that night kill.

Still missing 2 more confirmations to start the game.
I'll be departing to the airport in a hour and will be unavailable for 15 hours or so.
Hope to start before that.
@MOD: hypothetically, if three kill the same person and two protwct him, the flip shows all three kill flavors?
There will be flavor text describing sounds for every non-blocked (by roleblocking mechanics) killing attempt at the end of the night.
The death description flavor for the flip will contain information about the killing blow only.

Recruited Cultists are the same as the original one. Thus, they will have Conspiracy and Soliciting as their crimes.
Cult, however, cannot perform more than one conversion per night.
They should choose a target together in their PT.
Exact Cultist who will be performing the conversion attempt (and thus will be considered visiting the target) will be chosen randomly.
Recruited cultists have their role changed to the Cultist and thus they do not keep their PRs.

I think this game is a nice example of why this setup can't be just PoEd.
PoE helps but does not replace scumhunting.
Result of the game depends on how people play.

I really enjoyed modding this game.
Noone ever guessed the correct scumteams.
So many theories and none of them were true.
So unexpected result.
I hope you guys enjoyed it too
