Who is your favorite Harry Potter movie and why?

For some reason, I never liked the movies. I loved the books, but for reasons I can't really explain, the movies were always just meh to me. It's not even because of the old the book was better thing, I just plain don't enjoy the movie adaptations. Not saying this to be contrary, I'm just honestly puzzled why I don't like the films.

What is your favorite Harry Potter book? (For those nerds that have read them)

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It was the only one that made me hysterically sob. The seventh brought tears to my eyes about three times, though.

Who is your favorite Harry Potter character and why?

Snape. He was portrayed as the bad guy through out the series but in reality he was actually protecting of Harry. Plus he's funny and witty. I loved it when he taunted and made fun of people.

Understandble. I've seen many people not enjoying the movies. Honestly It's all really about wha do you enjoy about movies as a while and what do you want to see from the movies in the book. I personally love almost every actor put for the roles and even tho there are slight differences with the books description of some characters, I find it hard to imagine somebody else then the actors from the film when reading the books over and over again.

The Clumsy head likes the Goblet of Fire book the most, strictly for the Triwizard Tournament. Both the challenges and the prep for the challenges intrigued me. Second is Chamber of Secrets.

Favorite character, Hm... Hard one. Fred and George maybe. Let's be real, you can't separate them from this question (no depressing jokes here please T_T)

Not sure if I have a favorite spell. That's like saying that I like my screwdriver over my wrench. They're tools to use. Although Petrificus Totalis is super nice for non-lethal self defense.

P-edit, I play some, but I'm more at home being a Mod/DM than a player. I think as time goes on I'll mod more and play less.

One thing tho. My question were asked purely out of love for Harry Potter. I've grown with the books and movies, adore everything about it and am obviously interested in sharing that love. And THIS IS a flavored game. I belive it is advised to at least know something about the flavor of the game so it can be generally more enjoyable. I belive that some Harry Potter related question could help us know each other better and in the end have a more enjoyable experience.

I am trying to picture the scenario which shos has presented:

So Death Eater-Pepchoninga enters the game and "asks random useless questions" on page 2, to "distract town" from meaningful Death Eater-hunting activity.

I'm sadly not seeing it... I don't believe Death Eater-Pepchoninga would have the motivation to be so anti-town and try to sabotage the Order of the Phoenix with a distraction spell.

Funny thing is I asked the questions as a side note and since it was RVS I don't think there was any problem for that.

I also did further the more serious discussion but ultimately didn't get an answer I think.
