You know a good trick to fool people is to do stuff they don't expect or at random.
You can predict what a person who is trying to accomplish a certain task is going to do but if your just doing random shit no one knows what your motivations are.

So why does lynching scum day 1 possibly lower town win rate? My theory is pretty simple. Apathy.

If they are both town then town is really hurting for motivation and than everyone cannibalizes each other and the associations foudn through Day 1 scum are so weak by then nobody can effectively use them to find scum.
