I was stretching a bit with mcmenno to get some reactions and reads but what town with two years of experience asks if we are out of rvs.

Ok so alban is L-1 and honestly what sticks out to me is that he claimed at L-1 without anyone giving intent...this would be one thing later in the game but this early in the game I think even the most bored trolls would be a little hesitant to lolhammer. I'll admit to never playing any type of bastard setup so idk how seriously people take them in general.

I don't get what point you're trying to make here. I wasn't even being pressured. It was a post I thought was funny given that my post upon replacing in was asking (jokingly) if we were out of rvs.

Don't like their incorrect townread on Not_Mafia because it's the only townread of theirs they actually feel the need to articulate reasoning for.

Then there's these two posts which is a very conciliatory/artificial tone change as soon as they get pressure. The fact that they don't say they're townreading Dwlee bothers me bc in most of their interactions w him they sound like they know he's town to me.

I also disagree that McMenno's setup spec (at least on this day phase) has no substance to it so "speedlynch again plz" isn't cutting it for me.

Well at the time nm was what people were talking about. Honestly I was really busy irl for most of day 1 so I was just trying to participate in discussion somehow. My ISO day 1 *is* terrible though. All I did upon replacing in is fos alban and then not vote him (in my defense he was l-1) and call nm town (iirc this was because i didn't think scum would lol hammer like that). And then I show up briefly to question bang without voting anyone. I just don't have much defense for it beyond real life.

so my issue with mcmenno is this:

I touched on this day 2 but I feel like he's been using setup spec to avoid actually speculating about the scumteam. Like can you point to any active scumhunting he's done since the end of day 2? The only role he seems to be looking for is the daykiller.

I disagree that his posts on momo have been productive. Momo wasn't even in danger of being lynched.

Alright I'm back. Quick explanation for my kills day 1 and 2:

Jaack: This was mostly gut. I didn't like how he was dancing around the alban wagon, and I didn't like his questioning of socrates.

Not_mafia: I vaguely townread him day 1, but I never believed that he had a post restriction, just that he was trolling. When he died and came back to life n1 and then acted like he had a posting restriction that was removed, I didn't buy it and decided to kill him.

Anyway, I used my shot earlier today on dwelee. Mcmenno and socrates were listed as showing up on dwelee's body.

I realized that viridian probably got my role after 429, but I was hesitant to say anything because I realized that it was possible that scum could also have the forensic expert role to try and catch the day killer...so scum could suddenly have day kill abilities, and I hadn't used my ability yet so I was afraid I would be shot before using my shot if I revealed my role. I didn't really look at the thread thursday, but I decided to use my ability this morning because after thinking about it now I doubt that viridian is scum, since in what world would scum not have used the shot to figure out the daykiller?

I'm not 100% sure what my result means. I assume it means that socrates and mcmenno both were in contact with dwelee at some point during the game. I think dwelee said he was rb'd earlier so that would explain socrates, and mcmenno already claimed the kill soooooo

So either mcmenno is scum and killed dwelee, or socrates happened to rb mafia tonight and mcmenno really is batman. A third option actually could be that socrates is scum and also happened to target dwelee on the same night mcmenno did, but I'm still confident on my mcmenno scumread.

My investigation result was clear that Socrates and mcmenno both were in contact with dwelee, but it didn't clarify what either of them did. All signs point to Socrates rbing and mcmenno killing. Unless that third option I discussed is true

So, those voting for McMenno are arguing that even though only ~half the people that have targeted Dwlee this game showed up as a result for arona's autopsy, it totally still means "a list of people that came into contact with Dwlee this game" as opposed to "people who killed Dwlee99 this game," and that this makes McMenno the most likely person to be scum in the game either because of or in spite of his claim. Am I understanding this correctly?

Well the problem is unless we have a sk that has chosen not to kill anyone, that just leaves you and me, and I know I'm town and I'm fairly sure you are as well

Immortal (town; super-rare; 5+ players): You are immortal, and BUDDY1 is the source of your power. You cannot be killed, and if you are lynched you will return to life. However, if BUDDY1 should die, you will immediately die as well.

The buddy part makes it seem unlikely that momo would have lasted this long, if their role is immortal.

If momo really can't be lynched, that would make no sense to be mafia. I know this is bastard but being unable to lynch scum takes it too far.
If you were mafia the forensics slot would have been used by the time I got it.
If it's 4 mafia it can only be rm but I agree that he's being genuine about his role.

For sk, I can see it being momo or you. it's definitely absurd that you would be a sk that started out with a forensics shot and ended up with a daykill ability but i don't have much else to go off.

Right now I'm pretty sure momo's slot is the one most likely lying about their role. I would actually advocate shooting them: if it turns out they're lying, they'll die, and this will almost certainly give us the win. Unless momo was doing some bizarre town gambit.

I really don't know what else to say. I think town will likely win regardless if I die or not, so if you really have to shoot me to make things easier, that's ok. But if you think momo is immortal: I might be their buddy. Then again, I don't necessarily think momo is immortal, so I don't think we'd both die if you shoot me.

This was fun! I just killed whoever spoke first that day. The plan was to make everyone afraid of posting and force a mass prod but momo being immortal kind of spoiled that. In addition to the whole role swap lol

This game was a slog at the start, but I really started enjoying it by day 3.

I didn't choose the forensics life, the forensics life chose me
