i typically feel like with Gerry it's generally best to wait until some more information is in the game. He's mislynch bait. (He could be scum, but I wouldn't be able to make a scum case on Gerry without making a lot of the same reasons and saying Gerry does this all as town. It's annoying, but I don't feel like he tries to hide anything from us ever. To be fair, I don't think I've ever seen him as scum.

I was waiting for BBT to post a couple times before I responded to Bbmolla's thing, because I still don't really see it. I've played with BBT a lot, though. I generally town read him until I have a reason not to, and so far, I don't see a reason not to. Didn't that use to be site meta? To rush an L-1 and get an early claim? I don't understand why the concept seems so foreign to everyone.

I was ready to hammer Gerry when he was at L-2, but he never got put to L-1. It's my anti-L-1 counter. Somehow, I won more games when I did this. Scum have to be wearier about it.

Policy

I'm a protective role. Hasty claim? Probably. I have a reasoning for claiming, which I guarantee will come out this game.

So I feel like we basically have two confirmed townies in Assemble and BBT now, so this game is going to be pretty POE. Mixed in with some setup spec, i feel this can be a easily be a town win.

Wisdom was likely killed for fear of assemble being protected after the conf claim.

And to comment on this, I actually haven't quick hammered like that in so long. I have been talking about bringing it back, though in recent games. For some reason, I win more town games that way.

BBT and I have played together a good amount and I believe we know each other quite well. We even have similar start dates. BBT is one of the people that is very aware that I don't like multiple claims coming out day 1, and that I will hammer if I feel the day should end without forcing multiple claims per day. And then he made the no claims yet comment and nobody brought to L-1, so he kind of either majorly scum slipped to me with or town claimed to me with it. Both made me want to end the day without claim WIFOM. Assemble being govenor just made it that much sweeter. Now we decide if we want to lynch on the wagon or off of it? Scum seemingly wants us to lynch on, and I'm not opposed to that, but yeah.

Plus, it can discredit and put it out there to try and get BBT lynched, which I feel BBT is town for other reasons too.
bombcat - yeah, bombcat's not doing much. Coming across as "dumb town" as rando put it. I could be wrong about Rando being town, and they're partners, but Bomb is coasting pretty hard.

Also, I'm not shy around the fact that I despise day 1's, and I'll take an 8 page day 1 quick lynch over an 80 page Day 1 any day. Day 1 is a day that nobody should be certain of their reads, which is why I know to turn around Day 2 in the first place. ive had my biggest town read be lynched day 1, hammer by me even, and he flipped scum. I am a late game carry, so the quicker I can finish off three full items, the better (moba metaphor

If I can keep myself scummy enough to stay alive, and then become conf town, it's going to be great. And if I die, that's great too. Analyze who goes after me/my night kill. There are players in this game that I trust to catch scum, and sift through my reads if I die.

Why are you assuming the game is following the good guys/bad guys from the flavor for who is scum? That's not how theme games always work, and if they do, mods generally give safe fake claims, so I don't understand why you are using those as excuses for being town. If that were the case, everyone could claim their flavor instantly.
