Both your openers felt forced, and scumreading you isn't necessarily that you didn't interact with me it's more how you interacted with Cabd tbh?

RC usually dances with Cabd as part of their mutual sort process. Cabd was somewhat under-capacitated last night, which maybe explains the lack of dance from RC, though neuterhalf was definitely on the dance floor. This is probably the first game where I actually have to read RC. Most of the games we've played (which are a small handful from a couple years ago) he replaced into a slot 3 or 4 gamedays into the game and I already had reads of the slots before he got there. Plus a game or two where I was scum and he was town. This game, I need to put what I've learned from spectating into an actual game.

There is no way that RC could say that about our hydra as a whole. And I think he's probably at least nearly as aware of my recent play as I am of his recent newbie games. He reviewed and spectated my first game back after a year+ break - in this hydra. He replaced into my third game back, and though I doubt he read much about the game he immediately engaged me - again, in this hydra. But, that amount of meta-gathering pales compared to the amount of meta he and Cabd have together just this summer.

He had expectations of my play. He said so, himself last night. Those expectations are based on SOMETHING, even if they're wrong. That or he's bullshitting.

I think my observations of his play and what seemed strange about it last night hold up under scrutiny. I'm not bullshitting.

Characterizing Cabd's drunkplay as a put-on, for one. I felt like that was an attempt to make me feel defensive about something I had no way to address. Arcade Pals (I'm townreading MariaR pretty hard, but the visual reads list, which I assume is Dunnstral didn't light up my world or anything)

I'm not sure if I'm townreading Porkens or I'm just adoring his post restriction, or affectation or whatever it is. I think I'm actually both townreading and adoring him.

My townread of 2IAM went a little south over his Something Smart vote.

Gerryoat's buddying of Something Smart bothered me a little, but I also townread the reach-out a little. Mixed read.

Action Dan usually strikes me as super town from the start when he's town. Didn't happen here. The only thing I really liked about his play is the way he's interacted with Porkens and I"m not sure that's alignment indicative.

Chickadee is also a mixed read, but I'm leaning more town there.

Creature and RandomMidget are probably the two players I feel least ok with at the moment.

(And that drixx never shows up)

In the meantime, he's bought time for the scum to make contingency plans and talk things over.

So we're effectively in prod-dodge and ashnard-partner-hunt mode until Drixx heals up.

i misunderstood your first post. i thought that morph has been scum in your previous game together and you were looking forwards to them being town this game (which would be sus)

The game was a micro with 9 player slots; but all 9 were hydrae.

It was a perfect town win.

It was pretty damn brutal for S_S to be scum in a neighborhood with us.

Something Smart's reach out to us in his first post struck us as something scum-him wouldn't do after the For Us micro. I liked that he expressed a little paranoia (after the fact) about our response (calling him our page 1 townread). He kept his distance in other ways, too, especially regarding our Ashnard scumread. Arcade Pals - we're giving bonus town points here, also, for the reach-outs. I hope we're correct in doing so. The very natural-feeling reaction by Maria to our outing our role and targeting their townread ("I wish you'd talked to me about that!") also gives us townfeels.

2IAM has felt like brash town looking at the surface level of the game from his first post onward. I think the thing that sold this read to us so thoroughly that we bump him up to the top tier is the post where he ragged on Cabd to stop posting in txtspeak. It just didn't feel like something a scum partner of Ashnard would do right after we confscummed him.

Porkens - ffery would probably put him in the next tier up on her own. This is where he is by consensus. The paranoia felt real, and it feels like he's behind on site meta regarding roles, which makes sense given his play-frequency. Pretty sure a scum buddy would have clued him in on a couple things like the impossibility of a lyncher and more recently the nature of masons in non-bastard games, especially a scumbuddy who's claiming masons.

gerryoat is moved up a notch or two simply on the basis of his reaction to the day 1 guilty.

randomidget confuses ffery. She had him as likely scum, but the way he expressed his recalcitrance over just answering Something Smart's questions feels a little more like a town attitude than a scum one to us.

Creature has moved up from our initial gut reads; because Cabd did a bit of meta and finds the things he was scumreading to be null and something to expect from creature as both alignments. Creature generally just needs to step up his contributions to this game; or else he has no business anywhere above the line of lynchability.

Chickadee's contribution isn't terrible but it also isn't unfakeable. And we're not getting the really strong townfeel from her posts that we did in our first game with her (the ubiquitous For Us Micro)

Action Dan's posts feel really scummy to us, from his early push on Chickadee all the way to his reaction to our nailing the Ashnard guilty result.

Ashnard -- confirmed scum.

Cabd's meta dive suggests he plays this way as both alignments in the early game. I had him as probable 3rd scum before that.

I can understand you having this read, but I disagree. His "brother" (I'm not convinced this isn't a monkeyman alt) plays this way as town, and in the scum game I played with him, he faded into the background noise. He was the last scum to get lynched in that game (hunterxhunterx large theme), but he was definitely getting lynched.

randommidget is basically asking for day 2 lynch at this point (not saying I would but this group is going to string him up for his "posts" today"

If we lynch before drixx or the drixx slot is back, we aren't able to take that slot off the table or strap it in depending.

It's fairly likely this is rc trying to drag a townie down with him, hoping that he does not come back to confirm or deny before we lynch. At least then he gets a one for one trade of lynches and isn't completely useless to his team.

That's IF drixz slot isn't just his scumbud but then it's two scum for me which lel.
