Partial reading:

Miztef: will not vote against Trium claim today.
MoS: definitely looks pro-town.
TGossip: very worried about the back and forth between Miztef and himself. The adversarial tone feels very contrived.

At last.

Assorted, out of context quotes from Phate:

Unvote Yes, I think so too.
I agree with SirT.
I guess that means I'll see you tonight, scumbuddy?
MoS, am I correct in interpreting your last post?
...or are you just agreeing with what's already been said?
I may very well be full of shit.
He's indecisive. Might be scum.
Maybe I'm a jester.
I find you too agreeable.
I don't trust diplomats.
Going to agree with MoS on all counts here.
my play looks the scummiest right now.
(After voting Miztef) That's true, Miztef. I hadn't thought of that.
I'm a dayvig, and the next person to vote me dies.
*nods affirmatively*
tactlessness is a virtue
Ok, you should all ignore me.
I'm too new to know what I'm doing.
Ditto Ceph.
MoS, after thinking about this, what's your opinion of Faerie?
Elmo, what do you think of Faerie's behaviour?
Why the new wagon, MoS?
Hmm. Good point.
Don't fall for the trick of letting an older player (even if it's me) pat you on the head and tell you, "Good job."
very probably we can agree on someone we think is scum.
I am okay with Elmo's method.

I selected these quotes to illustrates his overall message, which is that diplomacy and being agreeable is scummy, along with the very quotes that show himself to be diplomatic and agreeable.

I reckon that he is in fact often un-diplomatic. But in that un-diplomatic bluster, there is a strong undercurrent of the very behavior that he himself finds to be a strong scumtell.

I'm still rereading, and I'm probably going to vote for MoS after that.
This quote: " In fact, once I understood why it was a bad idea, I 'pushed' for there not to be a mass claim." - clearly supported by MoS's abundant self quotes.

Let me ask YOU a question. What is it that you missed in post 888 that caused you to fail to realize that CES is full or wind?

I also want to know what the point of voting CES was when his vote was already on CES.

Also, these Nibbler avatars are driving me crazy.
I answered why I voted MoS. Why ask me the same question twice? You'll get the same answer.

I wasn't "already voting CES" I was voting MoS when I changed my vote to CES on account of his case on MoS which sounded good on the surface, but as MoS pointed out, was full of krapp.

How do you draw such the second conclusion from my voting the same player twice within a few posts?

I should add, if my voting the same player twice is the biggest and hottest button in this game, we've run out of leads, and maybe we should put more effort into the game, myself included.

Yes, MoS, CES could be wrong, but I don't like the way he came out of the barn running with it, trying to control the town's agenda to some degree, and set the tone for the day, while being incorrect.

But I think Rishi is purposely trying to distract with non-issues. I am not sure what his objective is.

So I want to give him something to think about:

I forgot about this game.

I'm vanilla.

Just lynch me now, and later curse yourselves for following CES's scumdar, which is broken. Tomorrow, remember the names: Elmo, mikeburnfire, Miztef. Opportunists, all of them.

That's the stupidest wagon I've ever seen. I'll be glad to be out of this game.

Enjoy losing, town.

Or maybe you own agument, Elmo? "Show you care. Lynch a road runner today."

You want me to defend myself against what, exactly?

This is either the most moronic town I've ever seen, that richly deserves to lose, or the scum are piling up on a lynch that is rooted in the town's inertia, and if they're clever enough to do that, then they deserve to win and I congratulate them.

So just hammer me and help this pathetic town flush itself down the toilet.

Elmo wrote:You could also explain why you think CES is scum.
Read his posts. How can you not think he's scum?

His first post: "Spider Jerusalem is town. Just so you know. (I know these things.)"

His second post: "Uh. Page 7 now, scumchat's distracting, I'll finish it tomorrow. Vote: Miztef, on account of him being a scum."

I mean really. I could go on an on.

Then he wants to lynch a Triumvirate. Why? "I've read the entire game and frankly, if we don't lynch Miztef, we'll never lynch any claimed member of the triumvirate. I think it's worth it. Vote: Miztef"

Then, what is this nonsense? "Counterclaim: I got the doc power. Ok, that's a lie, but! MoS is still very much scum. Vote: Mastermind of Sin (No powers for poor little me.) "

The play he did with MoS, this game-morning, coming out of the barn with dodgy accusations took the cake.

Read his posts, Elmo. If you find anything pro-town, even the tiniest, ambiguous glimmer of pro-town, let me know.

Elmo, read my posts. I already answered your question.

This game frustrates me to no end.

Good grief. I have to give you reasoning for CES's transparently scummy posts??? It is so self-evident. I'll answer, then please lynch me immediately after and lose the game if you're town.

His first post: "Spider Jerusalem is town. Just so you know. (I know these things.)" - OK, how does he know these things. You know he's not a cop clearing an innocent, because that would make that innocent a scum NK-target. So, Elmo, what is his motive for saying that? Er, I smell an anti-town agenda.

His second post: "Uh. Page 7 now, scumchat's distracting, I'll finish it tomorrow. Vote: Miztef, on account of him being a scum." He admits to being distracted, and has not bothered to read the game yet (that's in a later post of his). Yes he already penciled in one player as innocent, and is voting for another.

Then he wants to lynch a Triumvirate. Why? "I've read the entire game and frankly, if we don't lynch Miztef, we'll never lynch any claimed member of the triumvirate. I think it's worth it. Vote: Miztef" Why? Why does he want to remove the players that hand out the powers? There may be a reason we'd agree on, but he doesn't even bother making a case.

The play he did with MoS, this game-morning, coming out of the barn with dodgy accusations took the cake. After all this, and much more that I don't have the patience to bother with because this is a town full of apathetic players, he decides to zero in on MoS. He does make a case, but upon closer examination, his so-called case is complete rubbish. And most importantly, he made this case immediately after night was over, to set the tone and take control of the town quickly.

Then he says, giving no reason, "let's lynch Beep! Beep!" and what, 3 or 4 players hop on without reasoning, and without reading the game at all, I strongly suspect.

And since you seem to need everything spelled out in alphabet soup noodles. Let me repeat with some embellishments.

I voted MoS because on the surface CES's case made sense. Then I voted CES, because MoS's defense made MORE sense, then I looked at CES's posts in isolation, and MoS's posts in isolation, and I decided that one of these two is scum, and that's CES.

So I now asnwered your question twice.

It looks like CES's buddies aren't in a bus'ing mood, and the town is asleep at the switch.

I don't understand how anyone could get away with suggesting we should lynch Trium players. CES did just that. There is no rhyme or reason for lynching a Trium unless we have something solid.

Firstly, CES, in the above quotation, you claim to never have suggested lynching a claimed Trium. If that is true, what does this post of yours mean?
Cogito Ergo Sum wrote:I've read the entire game and frankly, if we don't lynch Miztef, we'll never lynch any claimed member of the triumvirate. I think it's worth it.

Vote: Miztef
I understood this to mean that you wished to lynch a claimed member of the Triumvirate, namely, Miztef. When you vote for Miztef, and say that it is worth it to lynch a member of the Triumvirate, I think most people would take this as a very firm suggestion to lynch a claimed Trium.

Secondly, you say that you consider it a slip that I "call Miztef one," meaning that I called Miztef a Triumvirate. Is this the quote you are referring to?
Beep! Beep! wrote:Miztef: will not vote against Trium claim today.
Please explain how my not wanting to claim a claimed member of the Triumvirate yesterday constitutes a "slip." Note that I referred to Miztef, correctly, as a CLAIMED Triumvirate. Where is the slip?

It appears to me that you are attempting to build a case based on the distinction between a claimed Triumvirate, and other species of Triumvirate (such as dead ones, confirmed ones - if confirmation is truly possible). OF COURSE we are talking about claimed Triumvirates. It's a given.

And you have tried to push the idea that Triumvirates (claimed ones, as opposed to dead ones, or "confirmed" ones) should be lynched.
