My reaction to all this scum reading Maki made me think back when they mentioned something about they thought everyone started as Vt's. I thought that post seemed kinda town, but now I'm rethinking that... I suppose scum could think the same way.

I still trying to wrap my head around some of these arguments. When someone yells "THIS PERSON IS 100% CLAIMED SCUM" and then I can't quite follow how they reached that undeniable conclusion... I need to re-read some of these arguments.

How many scum would be in a game like this? We all started at 1xp. There was a kill N1, so I'm assuming it takes 1xp to do a NK. Even if we blocked mafia both days and there are only those 2 mafia. But we have blocked 2 different ppl and they could still do the kill. We should have stuck on the same person prob.

EXAMPLE:
We block mafiaA
N1 MafiaA trains to get 1exp
N1 MafiaB performs kill
we block mafia B
N2 MafiaA kills
N2 MafiaB trains

II. Training
Each player, by default, is allowed to Train during the night. This takes the place of another action and cannot be used alongside any action. When a player Trains, they gain 1 XP. This is an action and can be blocked or seen with Follower, but it is not considered a visit and therefore cannot be seen by Tracker, Motion Detector, Voyeur, or Watcher.

Like if the scum uses all their points N1 to kill someone. 1 of them has to do the kill and 2 others would train. They would have 2 points total going into N2.

In order to get more points you have to train. If the scum perform the NK or any other action the cant train. SO only 2 scum can train for more points. So unless they were targeted for motivation N1 it doesn't work. If theirs a kill tonight, then dunn would have had to motivate 2 scum in a row.

Maki was 1 of dunns targets, not sure about waht day tho.

I suppose its POSSIBLE but not all that Plausible.

Btw there's more to why this is scum than just the scumslip. Beyond the scumslip, there's also the lack of critical evaluation. Vaxkiller is many things. A moron who blindly believes a guilty is a guilty and doesn't give critical thought to whether that guilty holds validity? Is not one of those things.

Quite the contrary. In my experience with Vaxkiller over a fair number of games (admittedly my sample size isn't super-huge; it's something like five or six games), he's been one of the most rational, cool, collected, calm thinkers in the entire town. He took time. LOTS of time. He didn't jump to conclusions. He was the fucking one listing endless possibilities. In fact, I distinctly recall a signature trait of his in Biochemistry.

In that game, he was proposing ridiculous ideas like that the Jailkeeper Inventor could be a Mafia Ascetic Jailkeeper Inventor, or something absurd of that nature. I forget the exact thing he said, but it was something really far out there like that. This isn't an unusual trait for him. This isn't a one-off, a feature that he showed in that game only.

Vaxkiller considers every possibility, even the absolute ludicrous ones that nobody else would and everyone else would write off. Vaxkiller as town is known for being a bit crazy, but I also respect him because of his ability to think of EVERY player as scum, off of their play rather than role. He emphasizes play over role, like I do, and will invent reasons for players who're cleared by role to not fucking be cleared by role if he suspects that player of being scum.

That's the Vaxkiller I know.

He just went, "Oh guilty? Lol. Vote mastina." And has given no critical thought. He hasn't thought about whether it makes sense. He hasn't thought about whether it matches my play. He hasn't thought about whether I actually could realistically be scum. He just calls me scum, and calls scenarios where I wouldn't be scum as "unlikely".

I don't think anyone in this game has a true town read besides Maki, who is confirmed. Maki, for some unknown reason (even to you I believe) has a hard town read on you. Gerry is difficult to read in any game I've played with him, but I do like his post linking you and fitz, it sounds believable to me.

With the events unfolding I believe screen's guilty even if he doesn't anymore and extend a town read to him as well, which basically leaves gerry or fitz, and I'm leaning fitz (mostyle because of gerry's post.)

It's pretty clear that one of mastina and I are scum because of the stalemate we are in.
