This flip also dosn't do anything to change my mind about Howard being scum; Howard has not mentioned Almaster since december 20th, and that was just a neutral complaint about lurking. Even as it was looking more and more likely Almaster was going to be shot yesterday, Howard never commented on him.

My working plan goes like this:

Shoot Sarag.
If Sarag is scum... shoot someone other than me, Yosarian2, or ortolan. Repeat until all scum are dead. This is a guaranteed win as long as the three players I named are town, and no gunbearer decides to screw us by shooting one of them anyways.

If Sarag isn't scum, look for a plan B.

@ortolan: As much as I'd like HackerHuck shot dead, I don't know that his possibly inaccurate reads are damning on their own and the DoS gun bearing choice is WIFOM territory.

On shooting Yosarian2: I agree that it would be telling, but I think we should go with a scummier player today. We have two free mislynches available right now. Hitting another scum today leaves us with one scum to go. Then shooting Yosarian2 might be a good choice.


I should have time and access for a good re-read before the week-end is complete.

Except if me, Xyl, and you are all town (and I'm pretty sure we are) then as Xyl pointed out, all we have to do is shoot everyone else and we win.

I mean, granted, at this point the odds are in our favor no matter what. But if we shoot me and then I'm wrong about, say, Nacho, town could still lose.

Howard's last post is pretty funny though. Did anyone else read it as: "No, don't shoot Yos now, because then he'll shoot me. Let's see if we can mislynch one more townie today and then get the gunbarer to shoot Yos tomorrow."

Combining my town/uncertain list with Yos's, I think the people who are left as good shots for today are Sarag and AlmasterGM.

This is a good reason not to shoot Xyl.

Xyl & Yos: They're our 2 most protown players right now; they're active, they present good logic, and they're aggressive. Xyl I'm less sure of, but he's being active in LyLo, aggressive, and unafraid, so... protown.

Maemuki: I don't have a good enough read on her. She's lurked into oblivion since her little spurt of activity in the beginning, and I really don't think we should shoot a lurker like her today.

Ort: Ort isn't afraid of going against the crowd, and he's very vocal with his opinions. He calls a lot of town reads, which would be trapping himself in a corner if he was scum. Finally, he wouldn't be stupid enough to attack DoS as strong as he did, then give him the gun.

This post has obviously been made by a pro-town player.

I reread Almaster and still think he has a high chance of being scum. I would still shoot Sarag number 1 though...frankly I find her posts unconvincing. I might meta her...brb

So it appears that you think the scum are incapable of bussing - except for me.

...I don't really find these quotes to support a Howard/Alamaster scumteam, but I could see scum-Alamaster forgetting that he was bussing scum-Sarag.

I'm also wondering why you aren't concerned that Nacho thinks Yos is town. I really haven't seen anything in his play that indicates a good town read, and the quote you provided certainly doesn't convince me.
