Well town had each of the nephalem champions as roles, wasn't like we could claim a Nephalem role. This only became clear after people started dying though.

We had to say "I want a safe claim for X named class or NPC" but there was no guarantee that role wasn't already in the setup as town. It would draw us into a 1-1 with town.

Parts of this game make me question how much of this was 'mafia' all the night abilities, night actions. I see scum chat everyone visits me and yet none of them got damaged? I put in a spike trap on myself.

Just too much shit was unknown, and this is why a Closed setup for games like this don't really work. It comes up to players doing random shit not knowing how everything works and mod calls the game in the end.

Yeah I had no idea what was happening damage wise, I thought I would have died night 3 from more attacks.

Like, this game definitely work better with players knowing what is/could be in the game.
A open/semi open setup.

I don't like a Closed Setup for something as complex as this. Its just the mod/host trolling the player base IMO. Players do random stuff, like with all their weird ass night abilities like this and then what appears to them as random results of it.
