Meh yeah sorry for dragging the game but that was the only way to play to my wincon. You guys refusing to lynch FA meant the only strategy was promote apathy and hope you get bored. It's not like I had auto-lost explicitly, the game was still being played. It was just a kingmaker.

why claiming as a druid is a shit idea:

you might get the romans to help you lynch the first druid, but why'd they help you lynch the last druid and risk hitting town instead of just lynching you?

basically, this setup is only broken in a meta where druids are unconditionally rewarded for being transparent, even if it means needlessly lynching townies

of course, the town had a lot of buffer lynches here, but if not the mage, but a townie or another druid had been lynched day 1, would you people still have refrained from lynching FA?

Yeah claiming druid is absolutely not optimal strategy. FA got lucky that we hit the mage on the first lynch AND that town decided that meant she should never be lynched.

To prevent that in the future I think game would be fixed if you just gave a random druid a compulsive NK each night after the mage died. Then there's actual incentive for town to speed it up.

I think the most frustrating thing was that there was no way to argue with the notion 'we are helping FA' without outing myself as a druid, so I basically had to play along while hoping you guys changed your mind for no reason.

It was annoying that Quilford talked about 'elegant win' as no lynching (instead of lynching FA) or that BBMolla was the one who explicitly baited FA into a trap and caught her but then decided that meant she deserved to win. I like to think maybe Roman!me could have argued these points but I couldn't as a Druid.

I don't blame you guys because as town there's really no reason to care, but put yourself in my shoes. I don't know how I could have done something differently to win.

Anyways, it was fun overall, thanks Bicephalous for modding! I had a great time until it became mostly unwinnable.

as I said somewhere in game the game wasn't about town finding the scum, it was more about town choosing to kill which scum , a little brutal (and not a mafia game at all )
