Yeah this. There's really nothing broken about the setup at all, contrary to discussion during the game. Frozen Angel just got really really lucky playing (or getting tricked into playing) the suboptimal strategy of claiming Day 1 in the hopes that the Mage would be lynched. I don't see how this game played out as likely to be repeated.

See mage should have been lynched in first two days. or both druids - Romans would have been lost

best play was this : A druid claim and see others reaction about it. I caught Nosferato and Vonflare day 1. plus I must add I really had a bad feeling about Guilty since day 1 ...

You called me "brutal, but town" :P

That and getting Sakura to vote Not Mafia at the end, gonna take those as my main accomplishments this game

Frozen Angel and the town win, congratulations!
Yay!

GL, I almost switched at the end, if that makes you feel better.

I agree that a random Druid kill would be a good idea to add after Mage death.

Congrats FA! :)

a single druid lynch would also have pushed back the mage win for a day

I do think this setup can be improved in this regard, although I don't think "give a random druid the night kill" is the answer

ake it that if mage gets lynched day one it wins?

i was waching the game and i have to say that the mage lynch day 1 does basicly make it impractical. alternativly all druids coudl of claims and tries to hunt mage and then make it a game of "whos the favoite"

Have the mage submit a list at the start of the game. Players will die in the order of the list. The list can be changed each night. Players continue dying if mage dies.

Boom.

No? They still have to kill the druids.

Or make it so that if the mage is dead, the last Druid left will recieve the nightkill ability when he is the last Druid left.

when one druid remains, they win so there's no way for town to win at that point

the joint win isn't going away

Unless I have a really sweet idea for a closed setup, I'll probably run one of these next:

3 Mafia Goons

1 Town Mentor
1 Town Babysitter
1 Named Townie
7 Vanilla Townies

OR

3 Mafia Goons
14 Town Compulsive Visitors

-On the first Day, all townies send in a ranking of all players. If they don't send in an action later on, their visits will default to the top living player on their list.
-Instead of performing a night kill, scum can arm a townie for a night.
-Townies visiting an armed player will both arm themselves for that night and die. This means that everyone chained to scum's target (but not the target itself) will die.
-The town has two lynches on even days.

That's like saying a game with one Mafia is broken if they're lynched day one. Or a game with one Mafia and a number of Traitors.

Wrong. In those cases Mafia can still win.

If the Mage is lynched day 1 or 2 currently and a druid claims, the other two druids literally can't win.
