After actually going back to read the UrScum stuff, I think third parties when with you when they get endgamed, not you win with them.

Read mod thread and saw that SirCakez re-rolled Celestial Polarizer and 3rd-party Contractor.
Celestial Polarizer is a big standalone, but it could've worked as its alignment is determined by its wincon. But either way it's actually a very bad role (discard-worthy bad) for a role madness game like Grand Idea, let alone Grandest Idea.
Contractor though, it has the problem of its ability to change alignment being too necessary because it can't win otherwise.

The main lesson here is to pay extreme attention to any cults that might be forming. As soon as you see a hint of a cult, pretty much every other faction's objective is to eliminate them before they can take over the game, because it will happen very quickly unchecked.

Also, thinking about this game, I've come to the sad conclusion that lynching a Jester is normally the correct option as town (and therefore Jesters rarely have much of a reason to hide the fact that they're Jesters, other than fear of a vig). If the Jester gets to endgame, then they'll just self-vote and let scum quickhammer them for the joint Jester+scum win, and thus lynching them earlier isn't losing you anything (unless you think the scum might NK them by mistake).

It was a fun game to read, anyway. Pity about the VT Exterminator debacle.

Jester should be treated as king-maker in LyLo as lynching scum still allows them to achieve their win condition the next day phase with town winning.
