I could see Trickster discarding a role like this. It's very likely he'd die, bring the numbers to even and town wouldn't know who he targeted or his target would die to scum.

The reason I said what I did is if you have the role all you have to say is I plan on shoot x day 1 and if I die know that he/she is town.
