I most definitely agree that a L-2 isn't a pressure vote... That puts it way too close for 2 voters to just jump in and hammer... And if the person who's being "pressured" does happen to be town and the mafia hasn't voted yet, that's a gone townie, allllll too quickly. Especially since this game is on page 3 and only a week or so in. We're not at lynch or lose... We've got time.

The longer Chaos takes to respond, the more scummy he looks... And yes SilverPhoenix, there is a difference between saying something scummy and being scum. Odds are I'll say something scummy in this game and get picked on... Several people will screw up and say something scummy and still be townspersons... The same as someone can say something "townie" but not be a townie. Nothing is sure until you're dead.
The snack that smiles back.

Unvote.

I just reread the voting sequence, and d3sisted only placed the third vote on Chaos. There was a snafu with the vote count that made it look like it was the fourth. Sorry, d3sisted, honest mistake.

Of course, now we have even more interesting reactions to work with...

EBWOP: Thanatos, even I had been correct in the number of votes, d3sisted would have only placed Chaos at L-3, not L-2. Why did you exaggerate the closeness to lynch?

for same reason.

I had thought that it was 6 to lynch for some reason. I don't suppose I'll be able to get off with a simple

On second thought
Revote
because D3sisted had no trouble doing what he thought was a L-2 for a pressure vote, which still bugs me regardless of what actually happened.

Can we get a few prods here? It's been too long since some of the players have posted, and not just ChaosOmega.

I'm looking back at this and wondering why ChaosOmega is so suspicious. I'm not seeing what I saw before

I would also like to mention, if this hasn't been mentioned before, that d3sisted seems to do a complete 180.
In post 59 d3sisted wrote:Whoa. What's with the sudden jump to ChaosOmega?
He seems to have no clue why we're voting for CO, but...

We need more pressure up in here, by the way.
Unvote; Vote ChaosOmega
He goes from not knowing why we're voting for CO to voting for CO as a pressure vote, but pressure for what? something that seems a lot less severe than it did before vacation.
vote: d3sisted

I think we need some explainin in da house.

Unvote
, my vote was just on a whim, not meant to be taken too seriously, mostly to see reaction to pressure. It obviously failed to do so, as so many haven't posted (myself included). Also, happy birthday, hasdgfas.

my random vote on jex. d3sisted totally flipped on CO, yes, but he has pressure on him right now, so I'll hold off on voting him.

hasdgfas: Good catch on d3sisted. Maybe ChaosOmega
and
d3sisted are scum! Wouldn't that be nice to catch 'em both so quickly... And a big ol' happy bday too!

Gorrad: Your vote on ChaosOmega was just on whim? Or to place pressure? Or both. I see each as a separate reason... So was it just because you felt like it? Not based on his weird reaction to my random vote? Bleh. Nor his complete disappearance from this game? CO needs to post or be gone... I'm so impatient! Can you tell? The combination of being sick, lacking sleep, and wanting this semester to end is makin' me go crazy!

I agree with hasdgfas' post 82 that those two posts by d3sisted are suspicious. I'm going to
unvote
because my initial reason wasn't very good. Besides, he's seemed pro-town to me as of late.

I saw his reaction, then, on a whim, decided to vote to see how he would respond to pressure.

I think everyone is getting a bit too excited here over nothing.
I commented on the fact that CO's wagon built quite suddenly and unexpectedly (just like mine, ironically). Nowhere do I explicitly say that I find CO townish.
To those of you saying that I "flipped" on CO:
Flipping would've been: "I believe CO is town" followed later by a vote on him.
What I said was, essentially: "Those who suddenly jumped onto CO's wagon seem suspicious," followed by a vote when CO didn't respond to the questions posed.

What? Your initial reason wasn't good so you unvote... Okay. But then you say d3sisted is suspicious and place some seemingly random vote on Jex? Is there a jester in the house?

Did a quick read through of things that happened over the past few days. Right now I really don't like Delicious' jumping to conclusions. I always hate it because I've played a million games with her and can never figure out what side she's on because her play is always scummy (no offense...I still love ya ) However a few things came to my attention. First off, she helped get the bandwagon going on chaos. This alone is not scummy. However, she then jumps to d3sisted right away when that bandwagon gets going. She tries to play the "good townie" by unvoting chaos and taking him off of (what she believes) is L-2. Then this quote comes up:
DeliciousGoldfish wrote:hasdgfas: Good catch on d3sisted. Maybe ChaosOmega
and
d3sisted are scum! Wouldn't that be nice to catch 'em both so quickly...

Why the sudden leap to linking chaos and d3sisted together? Is there a method behind your madness here?

Until I get answers,
unvote, vote deliciousgoldfish

As to the Chaos bandwagon, I think I missed something in my read because I don't fully understand why it started in the first place.

And on to the d3sisted bandwagon. I do understand why the voting started. d3sisted is another one of those players that I have a lot of trouble reading. I really don't know what to think. I find that the first bandwagon of the game tends to have more anxious townies on it then it does scum. I don't think this is enough to mark d3sisted for death, but i'll keep watching his reactions.

And please, no jester talk. If there is one, I don't care, it gets us no where to discuss it.

So maybe I shouldn't have been so lighthearted in parts of my last two posts....

The linking d3sisted and ChaosOmega was a lighthearted statement about how, in my mind, the two have made such scummy moves so early in the game.

The jester statement was a joke, which, admittedly, was a bad idea. And I definitely do NOT believe that there even is a jester. That was a joke about how d3sisted is still making scummy moves so early in the game... I wasn't being serious, I didn't suggest we discuss it, it was merely a statement about a series of crappy moves from one player so soon.

AND, I did not start a bandwagon on ChaosOmega. I placed a random vote, then CO OMGUS-voted me with some crap reason how I was scum for placing a random vote, and I asked why in the world he'd do that, then others jumped on and started a bandwagon. I just happened to be the primary vote.

AND, I do think that hasdgfas caught a good contradiction of d3sisted's and I commended him on it, but didn't jump on the d3sisted wagon per se.
The snack that smiles back.
