So this means that any player who is voting themselves at the end of the day phase will have their voting capacity reduced by one half of a vote?

This game utilizes hidden vote weights; a hammer causes votes to no longer be counted; however, it is possible for a different player to be lynched.

Am I supposed to be confused when I read this?
Is it incorrect to assume that 'hidden vote weights' refers to the power each player's vote weighs, and that Hurt/Heal means? If so, what am I supposed to read 'It is possible for a different player to be lynched' as?

That's all I don't understand about the setup, I'm now reading the game. If these questions are answered soon in the game, feel free to ignore me.

Acquiring a lynch requires the majority of VOTES on someone, but that doesn't mean that the person with the majority will be lynched, the vote weight and hidden vote counts on hurt and heal decides who gets lynched as well (IE. it's possible to get lynched with 7 votes, but if someone else was to have 6 votes and a bunch of hurt's, that other person would likely get lynched instead.)

Furthermore, if somebody else is hammered, am I correct in assuming that the first person is likely to be actually lynched anyway?

This is probably false. Heal was used as a "third vote" as it was another working tag alongside Vote and Hurt. Vote almost certainly has more weight than Hurt.

By the way, my "lack of drive" was probably due to the fact that I had a long V/LA for most of the game.
