1) why would his post be a towntell? Why wouldn't he be faking the towntell (which fits in with him making a joke to specifically draw attention to it)? You know perfectly well this kind of "tell" is incredibly unreliable and can be so easily faked that its not worth anything.

2) how come he went from "is town" to "could be sk but not groupscum"?

1) It's a towntekl to me since he immediately joked about what I expected to be the deal if he was scum.
2) I realized it was just a not-groupscum tell. He could be something else, I don't know.

Not really. I still have trouble sounding sincere as scum and I played FM for two years. Gerry seems pretty genuine arguing a point that's disadvantage to himself for the sake of fairness.
