The only actual investigation to occur was of Rainbow Reads, which returned Town (to both Firebringer and Eyes, when he replaced in).

Well technically I did but tbh this game needed just not to be fucked up by scum. Town imploded on it's own.

This setup feels really scumsided

I was expecting a decent chunk more power to offset what scum was given this game. Scum having the ability to just instantly lolkill two people in a single might is kinda gross

Although tbf scum also got next level lucky with who rolled which PR too, the cop being vigged was a massive +scum shift

That's pretty much how I feel too.

Setup idea is cool, but this specific setup was pretty scumsided, and the mechanics were pretty confusing (using "Timeshifted" to mean "not Timeshifted" is asking for trouble).

And the players that happened to pull PR didn't really make it better. (Eyes what the hell dude. Your justification was literally "lying and gambiting is bad, so if someone pulls a little gambit for reactions I'll FAKE A GUILTY ON THEM.")

Defender, if you're gonna run another Timeshift game, hit me up. I'll review it and see if I can't help clean up some of the issues this one had \o/

Yeah it definitely wasn’t ideal that all Town PRs were out of the picture by N2. I figured most of them would see at least a little bit more play than they actually did - but I say this even though one of the Doctor’s shots led to someone getting saved. Probably should have made at least one of the town roles unlimited-shot.

I think giving scum a non-delayed kill is still okay, it just isn’t something you want to see effectively win the game like it did. All it effectively does is move a NK up a night, because there’s no way scum could have killed anybody the next night. I think all of the other games where it made an appearance, that appearance was earlier (in III, it was Night 1).

Town also didn't really make use of their advantage over the scumteam in that strong day threats are harder for us to get rid of

Town just mostly went apathetic and made the PRs the only threats to us.

from my pov rod was town. i guess i should have been more active here, but i was just sapped from slogging through the middle of the game. i guess i was focused in wrong places too though. you guys played well!

Timeshifted makes sense as not timeshifted because everyone is timeshifted so the timeshifted modifier shifts you back to untimeshifted time.

Game-Specific Rules – Timeshift Mafia IV
A. Actions will, by default, not be resolved until the next Night phase due to the Timeshift.

This heavily implies that timeshifted = resolved next night

But by default actions are resolved the next night, therefore any modification to the role's resolution time required a timeshifted modifier to be attached, as the lack of said modifier is what results in the standard timeshifting of a role resolution to the following night phase.

That is in the ruleset.

Timeshifted role --> resolves at a different time as it has been modified outside of the standard timeshift
I mean, makes sense to me.
