The idea that there is a "random voting stage" is mafia is the dumbest most enduring myth on this site.

Yeah, what it really should be called is LIVS, low information voting stage.

You don't have a lot of infomation available, and, yeah, maybe your first vote reasons are indeed because you hate someone's avatar or username but you're (theoretically) placing that vote to see reactions to it. Who else votes that player? Who avoids voting them? Who tries to build a wagon? Who avoids this? How does the player react to your vote? Who do they vote? All of that, all of it, is information, information for the town to assess both Day 1 and later in the game.

Most players on this site simply can’t phantom that their vote isn't random. They constantly fail to understand they’ve placed it for a reason and so has everyone else. The more you try to make it random, the more you are helping scum, because scum like low information voting, because it helps them.

Anyone who has played with Saudade before knows not to take this seriously. So anything about this is NAI IMO.

If RedFlavor and Montosh knew that Saudade always said that and it means nothing, then decided to keep this information to themselves as other players blasted Saudade, then it is Alignment Indicative. It advances the scum's goal of keeping town against town.

It could also mean that they thought the average player wouldn’t believe anyone claiming mason the way Saudade did.

-Creature is due to roll scum against me some time soon
-I rely quite a bit on others telling me that "this is a scum!creature post" because apparently he's obvious as either alignment. Hopefully with pressure he obv!somethings and we can move on.

Speaking of late joiners, comparing Kop to EvilDeanius, Kop at least attempted to post something relevant. EvilDeanius entered with a joke statement, which is fine, but then an hour later has nothing to contribute other than explaining his joke post. He's going on my watchlist.
