Rules

"Nights" will last around 3 RL days. The deadline will be posted. If you need an extension, just tell me, I might need one someday myself.

"Days" will last as long as they need to. If discussion lags, I will impose a deadline. If discussion picks up, the deadline will be rescinded. Aren't I the nice one??? (the correct answer is... NO)

Votes must be in bold. If you do not bold your vote, it will not be counted. If you are not counted, you do not exist.

Once a player has reached the necessary majority to lynch, the day is over. Unvoting them will not save their life.

No lynches are allowed, they require the same votes as a lynch. Any player who votes no lynch goes home and may not post for the rest of the day unless that player reaches half the majority vote for a lynch.

The game is not to be discussed outside of the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so. You button your lip, or I button it for you.

Once your death scene has been posted, unless you're not dead, you’re dead. You will be told if you're not dead. Once your dead please DO NOT POST ANYTHING until the game is over.

Don’t edit/delete previously submitted posts. No matter what stupid thing you've done. Why can't you just THINK? I mean, come on!

Don’t quote any PMs or e-mails from me, lest I kill you.

If you have a night choice to make, it is due by the posted deadline. If you miss a deadline, your choice will be made randomly for you. This usually involves you being very unhappy.

If you're going to be gone any amount of time, let everyone know.

mikehart, an Undercover Muslim Terrorist whose presence threatened the town, was found this morning dead under an immense pile of bills. Who killed him remains to be known.

mole, an upstanding example of a Suburbian Townie, was sadly blown to bits last night, along with his house. The only thing investigators were able to discern was that a missle had done the damage.

Botched Surgery Brings Citizen Upon Road To Recovery

Due to a botched plastic surgery, local PeaceBringer has to spend the day recovering. I don't know why we put this in the paper, but I hope that you readers find a better reason.

And with the deciding vote placed upon him, IS, looking very sharp in his business suit, slowly started to put up feeble defenses as the angered town approached him. As they took hold of him, they heard cries of "I just wanted to better your society!" come from his doomed throat. In a flash, he was locked in the Super-Lyncher 5000(TM). After a citizen came and pressed a few buttons, the machine activated, pulling a myriad of guns out of its steely bowells. And in a loud BANG and a series of flashes, the former Yuppie goon was no more than human swiss cheese.

Dead Surgeon brings Rejoicing AND Sadness

Dr. Phoebus, the town-renowned plastic surgeon who worked wonders with the populus's faces, stomachs, and breasts, was sadly unable to be found this morning becuase, much like mole yesterday, his house was blown to total and utter bits. His loss was not mourned by all, especially PeaceBringer (who recovered from his botch), because some of his surgical tools were found this morning to be possible deadly.

The town's OTHER doctor, Dr. Crola, was found pantless and in tiny pieces across his lawn. "From what we can discern, he had his pants sued off of him by some VERY powerful lawyers, then, judging by the missile shrapnel around what remains of his home, he was exploded." , said Random-Guy-Thrown-In-For-Flavor. Many shall mounr his loss, as he was a vital asset to the town.

Cop Falls In Line Of Duty, But Perp Goes Too

As spork, Suburbia's faithful cop, was walking down some street according to eyewitnesses, when all of a sudden, a strange man in a black coat ran up to him and beat him repeatedly in the head with his immensly large wallet. After the cop no longer writhed on the ground, the perp began to walk away, when a random missile flew at his body, and in minutes, the body (ID'd as Phoebus, a card-carrying mamber of the international yuppie society) was no more than little human bullion chunks.

Odd Residents Leave Violently

In today's news, mepmuff, the town's resident Pervert, was found staked down near the house he had been peeping at with a Bush/Cheney '04 campaign sign, with some business advice scrawled upon it in Sharpie.
Later that night, according to a bystander, a missile was seen headed towards the home of Flying Dutchman. As that bystander ran in to warn Mr. Dutchman, another bystander reported, the missile struck. With the only thing that was still intact being a laptop which had been used by Mr. Dutchman to, judging by the websites he visited and the programs he used, spy on his neighbors.

Falling Interest Rates Cause Problems In More Ways Than One

With the recent economy in a fix, a man (later identified as Recky) walked near a bank when an interest rate fell out of the window, killing him upon impact. Researchers say that they are hoping for an economic boom (but not in the "boom" sense of the word) later on.

Crola, an aging cop, got blown up in the recent string of blowing-ups. I think that's the word. Taking over for the former cop spork, he had no survivors.

Shootout Occurs, Remaining 2 Residents Express Relief

In an almost stunning battle, mole climbed up a tree next to the window of lazarusmoth's house. Placing a video camera in a branch (the tape was later recovered and gave us this story), he got out an boom stick of the economic variety. But suddenly, a bird hit the window and awoke LM. He immedeately looks and saw mole with his boomstick and immedeately activated the Mosque-Bot. An amazing transformation took place, and suddenly, the mild-mannered looking mosque transformed into a robot with humongous power and even bigger missiles. Diving into the cockpit, LM immedeatly forgot which button to press, due to his inexperience...the red one or the green one? But before he could decide, mole rode a rising stock to the windsheild over the cockpit. "Nothing casn stop me now!" he screamed as he fired a booming economy from the boom stick. In a moment of last-minute indescision, lazarusmoth hit the green button...and the rest was all an explosion. In the end, the only rhing reamining was the broken Mosque-Bot, and 2 very confused townspeople.

Mafia A: The Yuppies
You are a member of a family of Yuppies who just moved into Suburbia. With your vision to make this area only populated by rich white Republicans, you’ve decided to make a killing on this place…literally.
X is the godfather. He always shows up good when investigated.
Y and Z are the goons. They have no special abilities.
You must choose what weapon to kill your target with and who is going to kill them. You may also choose to not kill.

Mafia B: The Undercover Terrorists
You are a member of some Undercover Muslim Terrorists. You have built what appears to be a mosque in Suburbia. But it is actually your terror groups patented MOSQUE-BOT 4000! *cue evil laugh* You three operate this robot to kill off the Americans living here so you can begin your takeover without getting killed. There is a catch however…you three have varying skill in operating the robot. When the most experienced operator dies, the next in line goes, but with a 75% chance of failure. If they die, the final member, having 50% chance of failure, takes over. You may also choose to not kill.
X is the most experienced operator, Y is the 2nd most, and Z is the least.


You are the Pervert. An as such, you like to look into women’s rooms while they dress with your trusty telescope. But every so often you see something weird…maybe it has to do with the recent mafia infestation?
Perhaps you should put yourself to good use. You can send in the name of one person every night and you will get results back from me as to what happened at their house last night, if anything.



You are the Cop. You’ve been ordered by your chief to investigate the mafia infestation, possibly because you’re living in the neighborhood where they’re supposed to be. You can send in a name and I’ll give you a result, innocent or guilty.

You are the Retired Cop. Your replacement probably won’t do as good of a job as you did those many years ago when this happened, so it’s all you can do to help him if he should ever die. Why, you should take over if that ever happens! Once the Cop dies you may take over their job (send in a name, and I’ll give you a result, innocent or guilty).

You are the ADD Kid. You’re bouncy attitude annoys many, and it will even distract them from what they’re doing. You can choose one person to annoy every night. But beware…due to your health problem, you may become distracted yourself and not carry out the deed.

You are the Doctor. Your life is saving the lives of others, and you don’t see why this recent infestation of mafia should hamper you in any way. Every night, you may choose one person to protect. That person is immune to being killed. You may protect yourself once.

You are the Plastic Surgeon. It would seem that you have to take your weak life-saving skills to the people in the best way you know how during this crisis: giving them some sort of plastic surgery. However, while you may protect them, you may also infect them with a disease that kills them, or botch their surgery so that they must recover for one day. You may choose one person a night and the effect will be randomly decided. You can’t protect yourself. (He overrode the ADD Kid’s ability if the surgery caused a death or a botch)

You’re the Ultra-Phobic Nosy Neighbor. You are super-suspicious of everyone…but you must find out what they are! If you FOS 5 people a day, that night you may select a person and find out the name of their role.

You are the Mayor of Suburbia. Your charismatic personality allows you to manipulate people to vote for anyone of your choice. Once a night, you may choose a votee and a voter, and the selected voter will receive a message saying that they can only vote for that person the next day.

Spork was a random cop. I flipped a coin to decide his result except for the Yuppie Godfather (who i don't think he investigated), heads was guilty and tails innocent.
They chose the weapons, mole got really reative in the end.
