I like DGB's plan. It prevents scum from fake claiming roles later on as the targets wouldn't match. This should only be done until a person is forced to claim. I would modify it though to claim multiple targets so scum can't deduce who is possibly doctor protected. It limits some ability to solve and catch fake claims but it will keep our PRs alive.

For instance if there's an obvtown/IC and everyone crumbs them as one of their options, scum will infer that person was protected. Then if scum shoot a cop, we can ignore all their obvtown crumbs and get their results anyway.

I'm right there with you, which is why I recommend multiple targets. Even if you're obvious scum won't know which you target if you are even a PR at all.

For instance, if you leave a doctor and a cop crumb, then scum won't know if you're healing or copping someone. You could be crumbing a roleblock as well.

The game barely has rails and if it'll help catch scum, why not? I'm ok with a diversion since the game is largely setup spec. It's fine for breaking out of RVS but I want reason based votes.

@Dwlee, I didn't expect people to claim vig crumbs as it's something not usually crumbed. It's usually claimed or crumbed after the fact. If people didn't crumb vig, finding a babysitter would still be impossible. :/ Arguably, it still is given a babysitter can act as a vig or protector. It's an odd role.

in mini 2180, my scumteam was very easily able to exploit people making bad assumptions about the setup balance in order to get easy eliminations ("surely there aren't two investigative roles in the setup, right? that's too much town power"). i want to make sure that doesn't happen this game, so i'm informing people now so they don't go off making bad assumptions and getting weirded out by claims this game. you can bet your ass as scum i never out this because i'm the only one in this playerlist who's played in a game he's hosted, and keeping this sort of info hidden has significantly more benefit for scum as it allows people to make dumb assumptions about claims
this doesn't make the neighbor claim inherently town but giving scum an announcing PR would be pretty dumb

Neither one is in danger, what is your concern about town being on the wrong path in reference to, and why does outing this help?

Because it gives us a likely 50/50 or greater to lim in and stops bad wagons. Dgb and dotw have been shaded all game and I doubt all of it is scum.

The combined modifier works as if he's doing two actions simultaneously. So in the case of a combined vig and babysitter, then the target wouldn't die. However, if the babysitter was shot, their target would then die.

The long story short, the mod made a role where if cyrus is nightkilled then he takes a slot down with him.

Why would scum target a neighbor claim if they believed it? Anya didn't claim she was lying about being a neighbor until d2, yet she was allegedly blocked n1. I doubt anything blockish exists but the jailkeeper.

Neighbors don't have actions, so blocking there makes no sense.

So for anya's claim to be true, scum likely knew the neighbors to be fake, thus ssbm scum.
