Hai guys! I'm one of your replacements. I apologize for my delay as I've been sick the last few days.

Any advice as to where I should start reading?

So Weaboo = Reck AND Kise? Damn. =)

Day 1

WoW, on the early Nikanor scumtells. I've never seen him be so blatant.

On Maemuki
Maemuki wrote:The reason why I called CSL and Nik scum so early it's because I've experienced first-hand CSL-scum-bussing, and it seemed very similiar, if you're wondering.
With the fact that CSL flipped town, I'd say that your read is off.

It seems as Mae was blatantly trying to cast suspicion and discredit CSL.
Maemuki wrote:I've only been scum with him once - and it was a long time ago - but from what I've seen, he does one of the following:

a. Busses one of his scumbuddies;
b. Shuts up and repeats "you just lynched a townie" over and over again.

Eeeh, not much. But it's better than nothing.
Maemuki wrote:Can we lynch CSL tomorrow?
Trying to set up a lynch for the next day, but he died in the overnight.

Seems like a slip to me.
Maemuki wrote:Wait. Nik isn't lynched, then? *relieved*
Why relieved?

On Parama
Parama wrote:CSL is still a policy lynch, if he's scum then that's just a bonus on the side.
Whether it's CSL, DeathNote, whoever, you should never advocate a policy lynch.

To me, that's a definite scumtell.

On Drippereth

I'm not a fan of Drippereth's absolutes in Post 98 just because certain people said Nik was town or that he was scum, such as...
Drippereth wrote:
clergyman/hoop wrote:Nikanor is town. This wagon should be ashamed of itself.

If Nikanor flips town, ACWAH is scum.
And this one especially when ACWAH flipped as a Neutral Survivor.
Drippereth wrote:
Ythan wrote:Who cares if he's at L-2. He apparently looks most suspicious to a number of people. If he does get hammered this early it's not going to look good for whoever does it. It's not like we're giving scum an opportunity to sneakily knock off a townie without anyone noticing.
Ythan wrote:While Nik's posts are the most suspicious to me at this point I think it's a bit early to call his flip.

If Nikanor flips town, Ythan is scum. He just called Nikanor a townie.

Just where did Ythan call Nik a townie?

He said "It's not like we're giving scum an opportunity to sneakily knock off a townie without anyone noticing".

This is blatant misrepresentation.

Why would you assume that CSL hammered in Post 192?

It's a little early for this, isn't it?

On Parama

Parama's tunneling of a policy lynch on CSL is a HUGE DISTRACTION during most of Day 1. If you really are town, why would you do this?

Parama wrote:Meh, if Nik flips scum I'll gladly take the next lynch. I mean, scum do often buddy up with townies to set up mislynches, and I'm one of those townies, but I can't fault you for using WIFOMish logic. Oh wait.
Why would you even say something like this?

Drippereth gave you the best response possible, I think:
Drippereth wrote:If Nik flips scum, you'll gladly take the next lynch -
(1) If you're town, that's absurb; you wouldn't give up and defend yourself.
(2) If you're scum, that's WIFOM-planting if Nik is your buddy, and not really something you'd say if he were town and you knew it.

You're the one introducting WIFOM to the argument. And besides, do you know who brings up WIFOM everytime they're painted into a corner? Scumz. That's who.

Why did you keep trying to detract from the Nik lynch? For example...
Parama wrote:I'm not saying Nik isn't scum. I'm saying CSL is a better lynch.
Parama wrote:My case is not that strong. I will admit that. I still see CSL as a better lynch.
I mean, at this point, there is no case. Just you going on and on about policy.

The following was directed at Ythan, but I think it's pertinent...
Parama wrote:Well at this point if I dropped the CSL case you would call me scum, and if I kept pushing it you'd call me scum.
I think this is a horrible thing to assume.

All anyone wanted you to do was to start scumhunting.

Pushing a policy lynch does not = a case or scumhunting.

Parama wrote:I have a post restriction that forces me to look scummy.
Obviously.
FoS: Parama
Get over yourself?

On KMD
camn wrote:During Sign-ups, me and KMD came to an agreement that we wouldn't kill each other NIGHT ONE, if either of us ended up scum.
I tell you this so you know, if I die tonight.. KMD is NOT auto-scum. We have a truce, of sorts. In case any of you follow history.
This is rather fishy.

On Yosarian2

Yosarian's case on CSL seems forced in Post 229. It's like he does some distancing from Parama at first and then hops right into going after CSL. Like he's trying to help Parama.

He also seems to tunnel on CSL for most of Day 1.

Policy Lynching is a scumtell because it's easy and opportunistic.

To me, mafia would push a policy lynch and call it such because they already know who each other are and to push a policy lynch just makes it so the town gets no information, and it doesn't matter what the policy lynched person flips since it was policy after all.

For example, take Zwet in MtG: Parallel Universe. That's a prime example of a policy lynch.

Townies push policy lynches on anti-town townies.
Scum push policy lynches on anti-town townies.
Therefore, nulltell.
It's a nulltell to you and that's fine. That's your PERSONAL opinion, not mine.

That slot has been coasting this whole damn game. Now's not the time for day 1 shenanigans that aren't even fully laced out. Specifically in that catchup post the dancing with KMD and Yos really gets me - I'd push them above Mae and Anon with a scum Starbuck flip.
Why are you not letting me catch up?

I will be doing Day 2 today and hopefully Day 3.

You've played with me before. You know how I catch up.

I'm no where near caught up.

And the days just keep flying by when I try to catch up.

Drippereth wrote:In other news, I'm now questioning my McZombie/Starbuck read and would bet the farm that Starbuck is scum.

The LURKING is just painful... like trying to coast on my early read and trying to avoid attention. If only camn was here...
My apologies, but every time I start on a new Day to get caught up, you guys lynch someone.

The consideration to let me get completely caught up is not happening.

So at this point, I'm thinking I'll just give up on it.

Sure.

I hate the fact that I'm so far behind, but at this point, I'm tired of everyone not having the common courtesy of letting me be completely caught up before the lynch occurs.

If you guys won't lynch until I get caught up, I'll finish.

Right now, it's fruitless if you are gonna keep lynching and I'm still catching up.

If the town thinks it's a good idea to lynch me, and not lynch someone else. I'll hammer.
