What was this in response to?

Because people are using peoples votes to claim that they are scum. I had to wait for vezo to confirm so I could random vote him, and makes me a tunneler, and makes me scum if hes town, which is completly bull. Also someone keeps saying that dana is scum because he random voted me, I can see why he voted me from last game, but that was during RVS if I am right. But than again are we just going to wait til someone makes a scum slip that doesn't involve random voting. Even though I would think some BM votes would be scum.

OK. I started by voting on Dana because, being controversial or not, I didn't like the fact that he was just throwing out a vote for no reason other than to be controversial. It just didn't sit well with me.

I suppose I was being "amicable" as you called it, because I've only ever finished one game of Mafia before, on another forum, and I'm not used to the aggressive interrogation that comes with it.

As for your accusation of my appeal to emotion, I'd only considered "I'm town, if you lynch me you're in trouble" and the like to be an appeal to emotion. I had no idea just using expressions like "To be honest" and such was too.

As for my backtrack and just placing a vote on Adrien, I was warned in my previous game that not having a vote on anyone at any time after the RVS was a bad idea, and would draw suspicion.

And as for accusing Dana of not contributing, how do I know those who haven't posted at all are lurkers, or just don't have time on their hands. Dana posted what looked like meaningless stuff to me, and it doesn't look any better now. And now he's jumped on my bandwagon.

In answer to Vez's question, I think it's town driven with a few scum hopping on there too. I don't get a suspicious vibe off Battle Mage at all, but the way Dana has now hopped onto the bandwagon makes me uneasy.

My apologies. In two groups they would eliminate 3 in a night, leaving us with an 11/20 chance of hitting town, and a 9/20 chance of hitting an anti-town force if we took out town tonight.

If we no lynched, we would have a 12/21 chance of hitting town, and a 9/21 chance of lynching an anti town force.

Maybe so, but that's assuming the worst. Best case scenario, the Mafia groups and SK take out one another and we go into D2 unscathed. You have to think worse case scenario here. I'm assuming that we'll be decimated in N1. The current wagons are you, Blaze, CJ Miller, and myself. A no lynch isn't acceptable at Day One.

Eh, it was a bad example, but say that a guy has played 10 games as scum and 30 as town. In all the scum games, three factors were alike, and none of them were in the town games. If all of those 3 factors pop up in one game, you can conclude that he's probably not town and is probably scum.

I honestly think Mitsu is town. I suppose she could have known and I have no way of disproving that, but my gut tells me she meant it when she said she was town.

Sadly, my gut has lied to me in the past, and despite the fact that I'm having second thoughts, I'm leaving my vote where it is and will support the lynch.

After isoing DH, I find two interesting facts.
The first is that he WILL NOT stop mentioning Blaze. I think more than half of his posts mention him or quote him. This seems to go beyond a simple scum candidate.
The second is that despite the obvious fact that EGL was a specific group of mafia, indicating more than one group, he called BM a vig, diverting everyone's attention from the possibility of multiple scumgroups.
These facts lead me to believe that he could very well be in the OTHER group of mafia, with Blaze as his scumpal. I actually have a townread on Blaze, but if DH flipped scum, Blaze would have to be next.

Anyways: If DH did flip scum, then I would be his scumpal? Is that because he uses my name in his posts. Wouldn't that mean he (if he was scum) would be trying to prove me scum then attempt to get me lynched. What if he is town?? What if you are his scum buddy working together to get me lynched?

I kinda jumped the gun on the vig comment. BM said, before Night came, something along the lines of hoping that he kills someone scummy. When EGL died, his YES YES YES YES YES! post seemed to initially point VERY heavily to a safe assumption that he was a vig. Noting that it was actually a Doctor that was killed, I retracted my vig comment.

I'm not exactly sure if BM's pre-night comment was a joke or not, but it very initially seemed consistent until I actually used my brain. XD

Lynch DH - Gut says he's scum, and reaction to the wagon has been basically a null tell. If he flips scum, Blaze is almost certainly his scumchum.

Lynch Blaze - Today, has probably been scummier than DH, so why not attack the problem at it's root? But he was on my safe-list today.

As far as the Demon wagon goes, i dont see any good reason for Demon NOT to be lynched today, so i certainly dont oppose it. He's done nothing inspiringly protown AFAIR.

But, i'm gonna plump for Blaze as the best information lynch of the scummy bunch. You could say it's personal. His manner has been inexplicable throughout the game. I was disappointed with his claim not solving anything, but looking back, there was little reason to abandon his wagon. And i'm heartened by his strange changes in demeanour and massive swing in opinion on my good self- going from "BM is an Idiot" to "BM is a Great Scumhunter" in a very short space of time.

Looking at the reactions to the wagons as well, i'd say he is more likely scum than Mitsu. Problem with a Mitsu lynch is that if Mitsu is scum, i can only pick out a handful of people as potential scumbuddies.
