But hey, listen to this - if breaking free from the RVS is a scumtell, why would anyone do it? I mean, it's obvious that town does it as well. I hope I don't need to give examples for you to realize that. Surely Amrun would have played enough games to note such a trend of everyone not following the RVS to be scum, no?
The reason it is a towntell is because it ISN'T something scum would do, because it gathers attention from people believing they've found scum, when in reality they've only found something that they're not familiar with. Votehopping later on in the game is scummy - votehopping in RVS is not.

Your second paragraph is based on a belief that vote-hopping is only based on nervousness. Can you tell me that's the case 100% of the time with a straight face?

To add: if we just theoretically assume that your theory is correct, who says you can't be nervous as town? Can only scum be nervous at the start of a game? What about, say, a Doc? A neighbor? A VT? Can they be nervous at the start of a game?

It's like the votehopping towntell I use. It WOULD be easy to say as scum, but risky because someone always gets flak for it. Townies shouldn't care about how they look (I FINALLY understand why they say that), which makes them take risks like votehopping during RVS, suggesting policy lynches, etc. I don't have enough confidence in the suggest-a-policy-lynch to have it as a tell, but I can see why it can be used as such.

Actually going on with a policy lynch is a different thing though. I've never seen a successful policy lynch in a game I've played, only suggestions.

Back from V/LA.

mastin is slipping away slowly from that town-read area, but Pine is doing it as well but faster. If Mist flips town (though she certainly does not seem to be town), we lynch Tajun, and if he TOO flips town...well, let's just say mastin and Pine won't be in good positions.
A SK flip wouldn't help them either, IMO.

I'd unvote to prevent a hammer, but Mist has basically claimed anti-town, so I don't see the need.

Re: me "setting up lynches", well that's how it goes. If I were to put my words in another way, would you still find it scummy?

"I believe that Pine and mastin are suspect, moreso Pine than mastin. However, I find it unlikely that they would be scum together with Mist Beauty and Tajun, and Tajun has counterclaimed Mist. The natural plan of action should be the following:
1. Lynch the scummier of the two BP's, e.g. Mist Beauty. If she flips scum, all good, Mastin and Pine gets a good rep, Tajun is not to be lynched. If she flips SK, hm. Tajun shall still not be lynched. If she flips town, go to step 2.
2. Lynch Tajun. If he flips scum, oh, alright. Mastin and Pine get good rep. If he flips SK, again, hm. If he flips town, the two bulletproofs are lynched. Pine and mastin have set up their lynches and acted scummy outside of this, so they should be the wagon of the following day."
