Nihilistic Ninja and Mastin strike me as Town.

The people suspicious of him because of his recent re-invention of himself immediately have my suspicion, particularly LLD and rack. Seriously, people? He was doing this before the role PMs went out. This is public knowledge. LLD at least is not an idiot, and knows this, rack is presumably a hydra that contains someone who is not an idiot. Given this, their weak-ass spat with each other ("Passive"? Really?) looks like distancing. I'll be voting for one of them when the game officially starts.

I get weak Townreads out of Maxous, Nero Cain, and KK too.

I'm trying not to be so biased against you, but from my perspective, I don't really care who the heads are, so you giving them a hard time about it strikes me as off. But then again, you're kinda off in general, so meh.

No. Here's the thing, Red. When people make hydras and decide to keep the heads hidden, they usually do it before they get their role PMs. It's not actually scummy to keep them hidden, they usually just want to try some new things and not be burdened by their history and preconceived notions of their meta. Give them a break; I've been falsely accused in a hidden Town hydra, simply because we didn't want to reveal. It's really frustrating.

@LLD: The date on the post he linked to was March 9th. Do your fucking research, you're not this newbish. Regardless, suspecting someone for an announced change in playstyle is stupid. If he didn't announce it, then people like you or I would jump on him for his change in behavior. Your suspicion creates double jeopardy, which is nonsense. You know better.
I said
I wouldn't mind him being lynched for that
, because I truly think that it's weird enough for him to suggest this that
he might need to die
. However,
I certainly would never lead a wagon him him based solely on this.
Lolwhut? Not sure if this is a backpedal, cognitive dissonance, or both, but it stinks to high fuck.

The LLD/Rack distancing connection stems solely from my early scumreads on them both, contrasted with the light but meaningless bickering they're developing. It stinks of distancing.

I find it incredibly amusing that LLD demeans Librarian's suspicion of Rack as going after an easy target, then unequivocally calls Rack scum later in the post. DISINGENUOUSLY DISTANCE MOAR, K?

LLD, you said AT LEAST two or three times that Mastin needed to die or he deserved a lynch. I even quoted one of them in my last post. If you're now saying that you didn't mean it, fine, that's your problem. Looked pretty fucking genuine to me.

The distancing between LLD and Rack is mostly from Rack's side. They had a small, toothless spat, then moved past it into ignoring one another. By itself, entirely circumstantial. Combined with
independent
scumreads on both, it looks like distancing.

Pine's defence of scooby is just weird. And unneccessary.
Why would you say it is 'unreasonable' to hold something against scooby when you agree that he is deserving of pressure for the same comment. Why even bother defending him at all if you think he deserves pressure?
And I want to know where the Mastin town read came from.

Having people screaming for a person's death when they haven't actually entered the game yet is a big pet peeve of mine. It pisses me off. If they've engaged with the game, and are withholding significant content (like Rack) then I condone it. All Scooby had done to that point was confirm, and people were ready to lynch him. What the fuck?

Mastin Townread is from experience and gut.

As I've already stated, had you been reading, it's a major pet peeve of mine when people get attacked in the early game for saying something like "I'm here, haven't caught up yet." It's happened to me before. Hell, once as a Town PR I was lynched Day One within a couple of real days, just for being a bit busy and not caught up. True story, though I really don't feel like hunting down the link.

It isn't super-scummy. He just doesn't usually do it when he's Town. When he's Town, he usually has a handful of strong reads that he pushes until either he or they are dead, and he tends to write off a few others as Town as early as RVS. This mega wall on everyone generally means he's bullshitting his reads, but still wants to look like the "I'm working super hard" Mastin that we're familiar with.

What the fuck needed clarification? Hydra reveal is at your own damn discretion. Your OMGUS on me smells like desperate NS, as does your "I expect unvotes" nonsense.

What are you jerking off about, Mastin? I'm on the Rack wagon.

Oh right, I never came back from pursuing a lead on Macros. We can come back to him tomorrow.

I can see what you're pointing out, Junpei. It's pretty weak, but plausible. Still, I'm not seeing NS/Rack as Town.

Holy shit am I glad I had no part in this conversation.

@Mod: Request you delete all posts of these duelling diatribes, as they are completely irrelevant to the game and offensive to many listeners of many different stripes.

No, that was definitely me. Maxous is taking my comment completely out of context, however. I'm not calling Scooby scum for the wagoned-to-VT thing, that was entirely irrelevant. I'm calling Scooby scum because he said he was clarifying something about his role with the Mod. WHAT DOES A VT NEED TO CLARIFY?

Also, I'm pretty sure Gunny is scum too. Universal Backup DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY. Mason is not a Power Role, you don't inherit it. Fakeclaim is fake.

Vote: Scooby

Rack claimed way before he was at L-1, Maxous's comparison to Sky in NY142 doesn't hold water. Completely different situations, and completely different people. NS is exactly the kind of person I'd expect to claim VT as scum, just because scum don't usually do it.

No, he's not. Universal Backup DOES NOT WORK THAT WAY. Gunny fucked up his fakeclaim. Mason is NOT a power role, any more than Miller or Godfather is. It's a status. Universal Backups don't inherit it.

Looking over Maxous's most recent castigation, I'm continuing to confuse Rack and Scooby. Scooby is still scummy for his trollish refusal to participate, but he's not the one who asked for VT clarification. I need to stop being lazy in this game and get serious.

This game's just not fun, I'm having a hard time keeping up with the end of the semester, and I'm absolutely nowhere.

Mod: Replace /out please. Sorry.

@Replacement: Look long and hard at Macros, Mastin, and Scooby. I'm stumped as hell on Shotgun, he's dropping newbie scumtells and newbie towntells left and right.

Replacing out was bothering me. It seemed like a dick move to pull on a mod that I like, and my reason for wanting to leave was petty.

The pace of this game and the sheer volume of bullshit I have to wade through just to keep up is just plain annoying.

Mastin is definitely scum. He's sometimes spammy as Town, but he rarely does this IIOA flooding unless he's caught scum.

Still pretty certain that Mastin is the way to go.

I just requested replacement. My apologies to all, I'm just not capable of doing this game justice right now. Need to reduce my game load, and this was one of the ones that drew the short straw.
