Hey, "guys". This "game" seems "fun". I "suspect" it'll be "stressful", though.

He said "I claim VT", not "I am a VT".

I just searched through 8 pages of nhammen posts on the site containing the word 'claim', and found these examples of nhammen claiming roles as scum:

nhammen wrote:Since I am the only unclaimed person here, I'm going to claim VT right now. Sorry to disappoint Pine, apparently there is no Doctor.

nhammen wrote:I saw that we are doing a massclaim, and thanks to the fact that silver asked for me to be next to claim at the top of a page, I know that I am next.

Claim: VT

and these examples of nhammen claiming roles as town:

nhammen wrote:I have a feeling that I'm going to be lynched before I can claim, so I'll do that now. I'm an odd-day cop with a bulletproof vest.

nhammen wrote:It seems it is time for me to claim. I am a roleblocker. And I would also make claims about the intelligence of the people on this wagon, but I think that would be against the site rules.

and precisely zero counter examples.

Let's lynch nhammen.

That's an interesting thing to do a study on.

I refuse to claim until someone responds cooperatively. I'm pretty sure my question's harmless.

No.

I wasn't interested in it because of its reference to you, but because of its assumption that seemingly harmless differences in word choice can predict scumhood.

I don't plan to take the idea seriously at all during this game.

Given that I was in a really comfortable position, I really didn't see how it could be fucked up.

But no, I just HAD to ask how everyone was doing. No one even answered. You know what that's called? Being rude.

I swear to bjesus that I scanned singersigner and received a guilty result. Scout's honor.

I do dumb things (I don't know why that hasn't stopped happening yet), but I don't consciously gambit. Especially over something so trivial as singersigner's contribution levels.

I scanned singersigner because in two of my more recent games, both competing D1 wagons ended up being on scum and I supposed that the strength of our playerlist made such a phenomena even more likely for this game.

I doubted that a more conscious effort to analyze each player and personally decide who was most likely scum would turn out more productively than relying on you guys' expertise.

And I think you mistake smug for playful. I only scanned singersigner because of you guys' amazing ability to find not one, but two scum wagons on D1. It wasn't my achievement; it was just my luck to be on such a great team.

IT DOESN'T FUCKING MATTER WHETHER OR NOT WE KNOW YOU SCANNED SOMEONE, IT MATTERS WHO THE FUCK YOU SCANNED AND WHAT YOUR FUCKING RESULT IS.

stop being such a fucking douche and start acting as part of the town. as of now your only contribution to this game is that you actually pulled your head out of your ass for long enough to submit a night action.

I don't get how that post makes me a fucking douche.

I'm not very motivated to read and wallpost in a game I'm about to die in. Heck, the day could nd bedore I finish.

Besides, I really doubt my ability to make a meaningful contribution to this game, given how much of a total dumbass I am.
