UNVOTE: arcangel9 VOTE: Bulbazak
Self-voting on page 1 makes the game about your ego rather than scumhunting. It's the most valuable page of the game and you turn it into a giant WIFOM contest; benefits only scum. This should be a policy lynch.

No, it causes too much theory debate and agonising over "would Bulbazak do this as town". It also doesn't even pretend to put any pressure on other players, which is the point of the vote and sorely needed early on. It gives scum the opportunity to explicitly avoid the "do I vote one of my buddies or not" decision at the start of the game, which is a BAD THING because that is a really important psychological situation which is different for scum than it is for town. It needs to be killed stone dead.

Because town do also do it sometimes "for the lols" or "for reactions, derp". Which is why scum feel that they can get away with it and why it needs to be forcibly eradicated. I don't mind whether you call it a policy lynch or just a lynch if that makes you feel better but it is a pro-scum move that should be punished with a lynch.

Hello. It's been a busy couple of days and today is going to continue to be too busy for me to read the stuff I've missed tonight. I haven't really had a chance to talk to Nexus since, basically, the start of the game, so I'll catch up with both him and the thread ASAP and see what's going on. Consider this half a prod-dodge in case he hasn't posted as us either.
