Actually, I realize reading over the history that we are missing something.
For all players: during those 12 days, the town argued about electra's ability until someone proposed that she prove her ability by day-killing DoomCow. Another heated debate ensued, and there was some tracking of who was in favour of smoking DC and who was not. As the town moved towards an almost even deadlock, another long day looked to be in order. Finally, electra made a post comprising of the single word "FIRE". Shortly after, DoomCow was cooked by much napalm. DC's death was reported in an edition of the GLOBE. DC indeed turned out to be the ring-bearer. More debate ensued about what to do with electra, while more suspicsion come upon warrior. Warrior was pressed to role-claim with a large bandwagon, and that brings us to page 66.

I dont recall much, but i'm having trouble reading pages 1-55. My computer nearly freezes, and AOL completely goes down the tube whenever i try to access those pages via the link provided. Suggestions?

Try right-clicking and saving the file. Supposedly, you'll then be able to slowly download the sucker, instead of trying to load it as a webpage, which might time-out due to circumstances beyond my control. It's about 4.3 Mb, and once you get it on your computer, you'll never have to download it again.

Issue 4.1

A Hero Laid to Rest

The wind stopped blowing, the birds stopped chirping, and all was still as time seemed to slow to a stop. Green Crayons's hair stood on end, and the only thought passing through his mind was "Not again..."

Green Crayons started running. The town, already at the verge of panic from the recent events, scattered on instinct. Only Werebear stood strong. A flash of light, a loug "BANG", and as Green Crayons lept into the air, a splash of blood. The two men fell to the ground.

Screams filled the air as the town rushed to their aid. Both men were covered with blood, but only one of them was still breathing. Werebear slowly stood up, and lightly touched the crimson shield on his face. The town could only watch in horror as Green Crayons, retired bodyguard, passed away.

A quick funeral service was held, honouring Green Crayons exploits and selfless acts of courage. The council pledged to erect a statue commending the brave man who gave his life to protect the town.

Green Crayons, retired BodyGuard, has been shot and killed. The retired BodyGuard was a doctor with three lives. He could protect one person a night, but if his target was attacked, he would lose a life. He could also prevent a day kill, at the cost of a life. This was his third and final save.

Hopefully, these pages will help remind the town of all the interesting things that were happening before the crash. Don't make me regret getting this ugly monster back on its feet... Look at this page, and its inane platitudes that you call posts. We used to be adding more than a page a day, and each post would fill your browser window. Even if you reread just the past few pages there's plenty of juice.

Issue 4.2

Professional Assassin Caught at Last

The report came via newswire from Interpol shortly after the townspeople hung a defeated and resigned electra. Interpol had, for some years, been attempting to track down a notorious mob assassin that has been credited with at least 17 kills. Although Interpol believed that the assassin had "retired", recent occurences in own small town drew their attention. Shortly after the town decided to end electra's life fro crimes against them, Interpol informed the local enforcement that electra was suspected of being the long-sought assassin.

An autopsy and numerous forms of post-mortem recognition are intended to be pursued in order to confirm the suspiscion, but a quick search of electra's house revealed numerous newspaper clippings and weapons that would tie her to the previous murders. No one has any idea how many people she killed while staying here.

electra, Mafia Assassin, has been lynched. The Mafia Assassin was passed the name of a target each night, who she could then target with a day kill during the next day. The Assassin had a limited amount of attempts, but on any night following a day where her target died, she would be found Innocent by investigators. She was immune to night kills. She was aligned with the Mafia, but would disappear again if she was the only remaining evil in the town.

It is now night 4. East side members vote for council. Night choices!

Issue 5.0

Alledged Kidnapper Shot Dead

Stewie, a member of a band of kidnappers, was found lying face down in a pool of his own blood. He was clearly assassinated by a close-range pistol shot to the head. The entrance wound was relatively clean, and the bullet was found not far away. Preliminary ballistics reveal that Stewie was caught completely unaware.

Police are surprised by these findings, considering the amount of press the recent kidnapping was attracting. A spokesman noted: "Usually in high-profile kidnapping cases, the perpetrators are always on edge, and very careful about how they move around, especially at night. The killer here obviously was a professional, or completely surprised the victim."

Stewie, kidnapper (INNOCENT), has been shot. The kidnappers form a mason group which can kidnap people.

Councilor Found Beaten to Death

bloojay, another member of a band of kidnappers, was found beaten to death in his own home. Multiple fractured bones and a collapsed skull point to a particularily savage beating performed by at least one large attacker, if not multiple ones. Interestingly, a police search of the house found signs of forcible confinement in the basement, but no one was in the house when the police arrived.

In a similar assault, untrod tripod was found severly beaten and left for dead, but despite numerous broken ribs is expected to live. He was found in the early morning and rushed to an area hospital. The doctors say he wouldn't have survived the night without care.

bloojay, kidnapper (INNOCENT), has been beaten to death. The kidnappers form a mason group which can kidnap people.

untrod tripod has been beaten AGAIN, and cannot vote.

Millionaire and Daughter have Teary-Eyed Reunion

d8p has returned home safely, after having gone missing for days. Police are not sure as to the details surrounding her disappearance, or the unexpected safe return, but they are preparing to question her when she recovers from the shock. Meanwhile, the town rejoices for the happy family.

d8p is no longer missing, and can now post, vote and be voted for.

Disease Spreads

Unfortunately, the reunion of the millionaire and his daughter is marred with an uncertain tragedy. jeep has been infected with the disease that seems to be slowly spreading through town. jeep joins mith on the growing list of victims.

East-Side Councilor Re-Elected

Porro has been re-elected with no vice to the Eastside. Area residents were heard saying "He's doing a fine job." There will be elections held tonight in the other 3 districts, for 3 days have passed since their elections.

Cops Forced to Break Cover

Mathcam and Dourgrim, two dedicated small town cops, were forced to reveal themselves due to the mouting hysteria over the continuing murders in our fair city. The two men, partners for years, went undercover to try to stem the rash of kidnappings and drug abuse that plagued our city, only to find themselves having to track down bloodthirsty murders and assassins instead. That has not detered them from the other crimes being committed, as they arrested admitted drug dealer Angel Fish yesterday.

Unfortunately, due to the mob mentality that has gripped our town, they were forced to break cover and identify themselves in order to aviod being put to the same fate as several other unfortunates in the past days. Still, they are confident that they can work together to get all the crime off the streets, before the town falls victim to evil and madness.

Viscious Serial Killer's Rampage put to End!

God, the crazed Serial Killer, was put to death after he signed a confession. Well, he didn't sign the confession, he was coerced into signing it. Well, he wasn't really coerced, he was tricked... Anyway, he's dead, and everyone rejoices.

God, Serial Killer, was lynched. The Serial Killer could kill one person every night, using any method of execution he desired.

Issue 6.0

ER's Head Surgeon found Headless!

Diligent to the end, the local hospital's chief resident surgeon, Tigris,
was found near an operating room, facedown in her own blood, a victim of a
brutal gun murder. Forensic scientists have noted that the size of the exit
wound, which removed most of the back of the doctor's head, indicated a
large caliber weapon and a very close proximity attack. The doctor is
believed to have died instantly.

Investigators are not speculating as to how the murderer entered and exited
the busy hospital without being noticed, although they have sealed off the
entrances and are questioning patients and staff. This looks like another
gun murder that may never be solved, in a series of brazen attacks that
have crippled our poor town.

Tigris, expert surgeon (INNOCENT), has been shot. The Expert Surgeon was
given a list of all people about to die every night, and could choose to
save one of them, up to three times during the game. The town would not be
notified.

Another Kidnapper dies of Assault

A prolonged battle with an unknown assailant finally led to untrod tripod's
demise last night, when the rash of beatings he endured proved to be to
much for his weakening body. Untrod Tripod, a admitted member of the Band
of Kidnappers, and previous victim of assault, was found beaten to death in
his home last night.

The police were ready to add this murder to the growing list of dead
kidnappers, until a forensic scientist noted a disturbing amount of
paraphernalia around the house that might indicate ties to another group.
Indeed, untrod tripod was sporting numerous mysterious tattoos, depicting,
as we are told, "strange symbols and characters". The police are baffled by
this turn of events.

ALIENS AMONG US!!!

Unnamed sources deep within the FBI have confirmed that aliens have indeed
landed in our fair town, and are kidnapping citizens for unknown purposes.
However, they don't believe that the aliens pose any threat to the populace
at large.

Alien spokesbeing Gaspode said "Why are you worrying about us harmless
aliens and our nefarious plans when you have insane homicidal maniacs,
bloodthirsty mobsters, and incurable plagues ravishing your city? We're
just trying to get to know you. If you don't believe us, we have this book
you can read, entitled

Virus epidemic contained... for now!

mith and jeep, two townspeople strongly suspected of carrying the deadly
virus, seem to be recovering from the effects. Late night check-ups
revealed the virus seems to have been eliminated from their systems.

On a related note, an autopsy on the serial killer, God, revealed that he
too had been infected, and was about to display symptoms and become
infectious. It seems the town dodged numerous bullets last night. Oops.
That's insensitive...

Strange Purple Light Witnessed by Dozens

Shortly after sunset, the evening sky was illuminated by a dull purple
light. The source of the light could not be determined during the short
span of time it lasted, but at least a few witnesses are sure it was
localized over this town. The local meteorologist could not explain the
phenomenon, and inquiries are being placed to various national-level
officials. Hopefully satellite imagery will supply an explanation.

Council in power, despite dwindling town numbers

Elections in 3 neighbourhoods last night filled 3 council positions. In
downtown, untrod tripod was elected, with no vice. Unfortunately, untrod
tripod also passed away last night. In uptown, mathcam was elected, with no
vice. Dourgrim was successfully elected in Westside. mathcam and Dourgrim join Porro and
the mayor on council, and the council will hold office today.

Elections will be conducted tonight in downtown.

Playoffs begin tomorrow night!

The final games of the regular season were held last night, with the
WestSide Canucks defeating the downtown Maple Leafs 2-0. The EastSide
Canadians tied the Uptown Senators 2-2 in their final match.

Final standings will be released later today.

Issue 6.1

Forensics Evidence puts Terrorist case to Rest

Handy police work and tiresome forensic analysis have retraced the steps of
the known Terrorist, God, now deceased. A careful search of his house turned
up carelessly scrawled notes that were compiled over the past night to help
determine exactly what role God had in this week's bizarre events. Combined
with DNA and other evidence found at the alleged scenes, the crime lab has
colloborated God's written confessions.

On night 1, the police believe God was the one flying the helicopter that
delivered a payload of napalm on Night Stalker's house. On night 2, the
jack-o-bomb used in the brazen attack on Bobacino's house closely resembled
drawings found in God's house. On night 3, there is evidence that an attempt
was made on Gaspode's life. It is not known at this time why the attack
failed. Finally, on night 4, God notes he again tried to kill Gaspode, but
there is no eivdence that he made a second trip to Gaspode's house. Instead,
police suspect God got high and stayed home.

God II is replacing Dourgrim.

Issue 6.2

Town ends Alien Mission of...

Gaspode, the self-proclaimed Alien Xalt-*click*-up, was hung in the town square just moments ago. Indeed, it would appear that Gaspode was not human; the blood trickling from his nose has a strange pink hue. Investigations at his house are underway.

Some say the Alien was visiting on a mission of peace and elightenment. Perhaps he was here to teach us how to better harness our natural resources. Or perhaps he was leading the way for an Alien invasion... Only time will tell. Perhaps the Police will turn up something tomorrow...

Gaspode, Xalt-*click*-up the Alien (UNKNOWN), was lynched. The Alien started the game as the leader of a recruiting mason group (INNOCENT), as the only member. But, at some point the Alien undertook a change, and so did his motives. However, both motives and alignment are currently unknown.

Journalist murdered, GLOBE in mourning

The GLOBE's flags flew at half-mast today to honour a fallen comrade. Night
Stalker II, journalist, was gunned down last night in a professional
killing. He was an excellent reporter, with a devotion to the truth
unparalleled in this town. He will be sorely missed.

Night Stalker II, journalist, has been shot. The journalist could pick
one post every night, and would be told, sentence by sentence, the
truthfullness of the post. He could then write an article pertaining to that
post that would appear in the GLOBE the next day. Unfortunately, the GLOBE
cannot release which articles were written by the journalist.

Police Raid Uptown Home, Arrests Made

Shortly after twilight, local police raided Fishbulb's house in Uptown,
assisted by a federal search warrant. The police received information that
Fishbulb was using his residence to operate activities that are allegedly
illicit. Further observation confirmed this was the case, and the stage was
set. Fishbulb was arrested without much physical resistance, but he was
obviously incensced at the invasion.

The police department issued this statement: "Fishbulb, of an uptown
address, was arrested last night with a federal search warrant on charges of
operating an illegal domicile. He will be held for questioning today, and
the council will determine his fate tonight."

Fishbulb is in jail, and cannot post, vote, or be voted for. The council
must decide his fate tonight by voting: release, imprison, execute

Downtown Election Fails Again

The Downtown neighbourhood is again without council representation, but this
time it is due to a failed vote. So, the downtown region will again hold
elections tonight for their council seat. Porro's second successful term in
office is expiring tonight, requiring an election in Eastside as well. The
council's current three members: Porro, mathcam and God II remain in power,
so the council is in session.

Hockey Play-off start delayed

The hockey playoffs, scheduled to begin last night, had to be delayed for
logistical reasons. The league convenor has not given a new date for the
commencement of the long awaited showdown.

Local Cop Hangs for... Treason?

God II, having taken the position of local cop from the illustrious Dourgrim, was lynched today in the latest hanging in a series of vigilante acts of justice. These hangings are notorious for their inaccuracy, as was well demonstrated today.

God II, a loyal cop to the end, was hung supposedly for crimes against the town, but nothing could be found in his house or his office to support the allegations. It appears that the town may have rid themselves of another asset in this battle against evil.

God II (replacing Dourgrim), small-town cop (INNOCENT), has been lynched. The small-town cop has a partner, and can arrest people at night.

Night choices please, including elections in some parts of town. For instance, where God II used to live. I-ll figure out where the elections are later.

Mourning Cop Put Out of Misery

Shortly after the early demise of his partner, God II, at the hands of the town; the grieving small-town cop mathcam had his life cut short at the expense of the town's crippled police force. Both loyal cops to the end, the continued their tireless quest to enforce the laws of this country, despite all the chaos surrounding the town.

mathcam was found cleanly executed by a single bullet wound to the head. He was a good cop, and will be missed dearly.

mathcam, Small-Town Cop (INNOCENT), has been shot. The two small-town cops formed a mason group that could attempt to arrest one person each night. Successful arrests would take place if the target performed illicit actions at night, not necessarily having any correlation with their alignment. The target would be imprisoned in jail until their fate was decided.

Open-Door Jail Policy Sees Another Criminal Freed

The council could not decide what to do with the indicted criminal FishBulb, but it seemed that the final action of the deceased cop was to release him without due process. This reporter wonders at the effectiveness of such a policy, admist all that has been going on in this town.

FishBulb has been freed from jail, and may post, vote and be voted for.

Election Results!

Another round of elections sees Werebear into the council seat for Downtown, while the lone voter and candidate Leonidas takes the Westside council seat. In Eastside, Porro failed to renew his third term, so the seat goes unclaimed. There will be elections tonight in Uptown and Eastside to replace the empty seats.

With 2 councilors, council is in session, required both councilors and the mayor to lynch.

First Round PlayOff Results

The East-Side Canadians soundly defeated the Uptown Senators 3-1, eliminating the Senators from the playoffs. Despite a dwindling fanbase, the WestSide Canucks managed to squeak a 1-0 lead over the Downtown MapleLeafs, dropping the Leafs from the running yet again.

The Canadians and Canucks will Face-off in a best of 3 series for the Stanley Cup, beginning tonight.

Monster Returns, Smokes Mafia!

For the second time the townspeople woke to a gruesome scene in the town square. Body parts were hanging of of every which thing... clearly the monster had struck again. Claw marks and teeth marks were prevalent on most of the carnage.

The body of the victim was identified as Leonidas, and a search of his house revealed his mafia ties to the likes of the infamous Bobacino. Slightly disturbed by his method of parting, the town nonetheless rejoices at making some progress in dealing with the Mafia threat.

Leonidas, Kryptonite Holder (MAFIA), has been torn apart. The Kryptonite holder could "attack" someone with Kryptonite each night, although there weren't many townspeople who would notice...

Mafia Retaliates, Cleans up the streets!

In a daring night attack, the local drug dealer, who has been selling off the streets with impunity in recent days, was gunned down in the latest in the series of professional killings being attributed to the Mafia. Someone was peddling his wares near the town square when he was shot cleanly at close range. Police, as usual, have no leads. The town doesn't really mourn his loss either.

Someone, Drug Dealer (INNOCENT), has been shot. The Drug Dealer had a wide variety of drugs he could give to one person each night, once per drug. They included weed (role-block), upper (performs role twice), downer (performs role on self), halucinogen (role deflector), lethal combination (duh).

Council elects first Vice!

Porro was again elected to the East-side council, but jeep was elected as the city's first vice in the same neighbourhood. jeep will immediately take over as councilor if anything should happen to Porro. The Uptown election was not successful, and Werebear maintains his position in Downtown.

The last surviving member of Westside has been killed, so there are now only 3 neighbourhoods. With 2 councilors, it takes both of them and the mayor to lynch.

Mith missing again

Once the kidnappers had been run out of town, no one expected anyone to turn up missing again, but mith is nowhere to be found!

The will of the council is strong, but the will of the mayor is stronger. Early yesterday, the council voted to lynch d8p, but Porro, the town mayor, chose to stay the lynching. There will be no lynch today.

This is what happened: d8p was "lynched" by a council majority, but the mayor has the ability to stay a lynching one time between the time they receive half the votes and the time I actually post the lynch. So when I noticed it, Porro had the ability to stay the lynching, and he was online at the time. I agreed to wait for a specific event to occur, because of timing issues. This is a peril of mafia on a board, but I like to think that when someone is online shouldn't determine the course of a game. Also, there won't be any modkilling. If there are any concerns, please address them to me via PM or email.

Town Hero Gunned Down

Werebear, the helpful mafia catcher, was found murdered last night. Surely this was an act of the mafia who have invaded the town, getting retribution for the fingering of a fallen comrade. Werebear was found shot, another professional style assassination in this string of brutal murders. This reporter is slowly becoming jaded to the pain.

Werebear, Paragon of Mafia Hunters (INNOCENT), has been shot. The POMH could bandwagon one person per day, and receive an investigation result if they accumulated half the required votes. The investigation results were sane, and were "INNOCENT", "NOT MAFIA and NOT INNOCENT", and "INNOCENT" with a nighttime correction to "MAFIA" for any Mafia investigations.

Issue 10.1

Millionaire lynched for crimes against the Town!

Fighting with his last breath against the voice of the town, jeep's face paled as the council decision was passed. The kind town millionaire has been sentenced to death. Due to his stature, the council ruled his lynching would be a dignified afair which the town watch solemly.

Once the preparations had been made, the town turned to more pressing matters... determining the millionaire's involvement in the recent crime spree. A thorough search of jeep's house revealed startling evidence of crimes committed against the town, including murder plots, conspiracies to defraud council, and numerous related raketeering schemes. It has become quite clear the jeep was indeed the Mafia Godfather.

jeep, Millionaire and Mafia Godfather (MAFIA), has been lynched. The Godfather was immune to night investigations and night kills. The Millionaire leaves behind a grieving daughter.

mith stood in his basement laboratory, staring intently at the culmination of years of sweat and tears in the form of an innocuous green liquid. He was not particularly proud of his creation, nor was he interested in sharing his discovery with the world. The mixture was an abomination, a solution whose sole purpose was to mutate purity, to pervert the norm. However, in these trying times, every citizen had to do his part. mith truly believed that, but his frail body was not the instrument of justice he had once hoped it would become. Nay, mith found strength in his mind: in his creativity, his persistence, and his lack of social conscience. The latter was a precious resource in the face of adversity, a tool he had leveraged into a fantastic weapon for the town's indiscriminating use. His focus returned to the vial, and with rapt attention he watched it slowly effervesce. With a grin of resignation, he grasped the container and lifted it to his lips. He hoped to serve once more...

Fishbulb sat silently in the lobby of his modest house in a well-to-do uptown neighbourhood. For years he had operated it successfully as a bed and breakfast, with enough honest customers to keep up a front as an upstanding citizen and respected member of the town. A front, he mused, which was required to protect his less profitable but infinitely more important customers. He would watch with muted indifference as shady character after shady character passed through his inn's reception area. The money kept trickling in, and he kept his mouth shut. All that had changed recently, and he had once again been asked to do something that didn't sit right with him. But he was in much too deep to say no.

Porro paced briskly around his council chambers, devastated by the diminishing populace of his town. What was once a robust economy was in shambles, the townspeople were terrified, and he couldn't even dream of re-election if there were no constituents left to vote! As he turned once again, he thought back to the strange night when he was approached by the shifty-eyed Gaspode. The man promised guidance and prosperous times if only Porro would help him pass certain key by-laws. Porro had never committed, but was helplessly intrigued by the discovery that Gaspode was actually an alien life form. He wondered continuously about the extent of the alien's power, always concerned his intentions were not pure. Now that the town was in dire straits, Porro decided he was out of options. He grabbed his coat, and headed off to Dragon Slayer's house.

Dragon Slayer lay in bed, tossing and turning like he had ever since the day Gaspode was killed. Something burned inside his mind, and he wrestled with it every time he closed his eyes. He was driven to complete the alien mission, but he did not have the discipline to comprehend the complex emotions overwhelming his psyche. He was hopelessly confused, and prayed for release every night. It didn't used to be this way... Gaspode's thoughts used to be comforting and reassuring. He preached enlightenment through knowledge and acceptance. Dragon Slayer's mind felt complete. Something happened that night, and Gaspode's death the very next day amplified the horrible thoughts rushing through his brain. Consumed with the desire to destroy, but lacking the ability to will his body to action, Dragon Slayer struggled every night on the brink of insanity.

DarkBlade sat in his private office, staring out over the city he had sworn to protect many years ago. Retired now, he worked a humble side business investigating civil issues to keep his mind sharp. Adultery, missing people, child support... he had made so many contacts throughout his successful law enforcement career that he could find and follow anyone, anywhere. It seemed that there was always a demand for a person of his skill set, always people sneaking around town that didn't want to be found, and always people trying to find them. Some of his clients weren't the most reputable bunch either. No, in his line of work, you sometimes had to get your hands dirty. He subconsciously rubbed his hands together as he scanned the horizon, trying to recall which point of light was Dragon Slayer's house. The man was acting strange, and he had been asked to figure out why. His client had since died, but the question lived on. He slowly stood up, and made his way to the door.

d8p cried in her spacious living room, devastated over the loss of her father, and angrier still over the shattering of the pristine illusion he had created through years of lies. Did she care about her father's profession? Between sobs she realized it wasn't so much what he did, but that she wasn't a part of it. She had always felt so close to her father, always trusted him and felt that he could trust her. It was all a farce. She moved across the room to a window overlooking the dark terrace, and stared mindlessly into the gaping blackness that she felt mirrored her future. Bursting into tears once more, she was unaware of the presence in the room behind her until she saw caught the reflection of evil in the pane of glass. She slowly turned and fixated her dead eyes upon the monster of human misery. With brutal efficiency, she was thrown through the glass, watching her life fall to pieces in horror, feeling every shard cutting her flesh slicing deep into her soul. She closed her eyes as her body went numb and hope bled from her body.

Fishbulb watched incredulously as a very large cloaked figure emerged from mith’s house. The creature had an enormous stature, and almost lurched down the dark side of the street, carefully avoiding streetlights with all the grace of a freight train. Fishbulb produced a pistol from his jacket pocket and slipped almost effortlessly through mith’s front door. A quick scan of the house revealed its occupant was indeed not at home, and Fishbulb turned quickly and darted back onto the street, chasing after the monster.

DarkBlade watched the light in Dragon Slayer’s bedroom dance across the blinds as he had another restless night. Through the glare of the cigarette dangling from his mouth, DarkBlade had no doubt that Dragon Slayer was troubled by something. Last night he witnessed the same scene: light turning on and off, muted sounds of anguish, shadows on the walls. He wasn’t able to enter the house for fear of being detected, but after studying the house for some time this night, DarkBlade decided that Dragon Slayer was not completely aware of his environment, and the risk would be small. He stubbed out his cigarette, and stepped through the smoke and across the street.

Porro was hurrying down the street nearing Dragon Slayer’s house when he caught a flicker of light off to one side. Stopping abruptly, Porro watched as shortly afterwards DarkBlade appeared from the shadows a few houses away and made his way across the street. Porro stepped into an alley, and watched carefully as DarkBlade slipped up to the front door and entered silently. Porro waited for a minute, running through possibilities in his mind. Did DarkBlade really receive notes? Or was he collecting information himself through less legitimate means? As the last remaining figure of authority left in the town, Porro resolved to protect what was left of the decent folk in town. He scanned the ground for a weapon, grabbed an old length of pipe, and determinedly finished his trek to Dragon Slayer’s house.

Dragon Slayer sat straight up in bed, and instinctively turned towards the door. Through a crack he could see a slit of light falling on the stairwell, a slit of light recently disrupted by a shifting silhouette. He stared intently, but saw nothing further. He cautiously settled back down to try his hand again at falling asleep.

DarkBlade froze as he heard steps outside the house, his eyes darting from one streetlight lamp to another, looking for the offender. A shadow played across the window in the front door, and DarkBlade dove for the floor and scrambled to a back room.

Porro stood in front of the door, playing the next minute through his mind over and over. He had only seen it in the movies, but he figured the principle was still sound. He backed up a pace, lifted his foot, and aimed it squarely by the doorknob.

A crash awoke Dragon Slayer again, and he fumbled through the darkness for his closet, an armory of baseball bats, hockey sticks and wire hangers. He made more sound scrambling through his sports memorabilia than the intruder had coming through the front door, but was determined to not go down without a fight. He froze again when he heard “Dragon Slayer? Are you in here? It’s me, Porro! I think there’s someone else in the house!” He picked a trusty Titan for a stick and made his way to his bedroom door.

mith stood over d8p, watching her pretty face slowly cover with blood, when the eerie silence of the night was broken by a cell phone ringing... outside. mith stalked forward, stepping over the murdered girl into the darkness beyond.

Fishbulb cursed, and fumbled through his coat for his phone. He managed to activate the phone, seconds before his eyes were drawn back to the mansion he had watched the creature enter. Something was on the terrace, moving towards the bushes. Towards him. Without another moment’s hesitation, he lifted his gun and emptied the entire clip into the creature. It screamed in pain and lunged forward, clawing at the railing as it fell. With a heavy thud, mith landed in the dirt at the foot of the massive house, and breathed his last monstrous breath. Content, Fishbulb turned his attention back to the phone.

From the landing, Porro watched Dragon Slayer emerge from his bedroom door, cautiously making his way to the top of the stairs. Both men were armed, and both men were frightened. Porro quickly recounted what he had seen, and the two men methodically began searching the house.

DarkBlade sat cursing his luck in the corner of the pantry. He couldn’t find a backdoor to exit through, and it wouldn’t be long before his childish hiding spot was discovered. Who knew what type of justice the eccentric resident of this house might resort to in these trying times? DarkBlade began scanning the shelves for something a little larger than the average soup can.

Porro entered the kitchen, and his eyes rested on the large double doors that housed the pantry. One of the doors was ajar. He carefully crossed the kitchen, pipe cocked and at the ready. DarkBlade braced himself and waited. Porro reached for the door, and with all of his might, DarkBlade threw himself forward, crashing into Porro, sending both men sprawling on the floor. DarkBlade was a larger, stronger man, and without a pipe to aid him, Porro soon found himself at the receiving end of a few well-placed punches.

DarkBlade tried to render Porro unconscious, planning to make his escape through the front door which was a mere 30 feet away, when he felt the cold justice of a wooden stick collide with the side of his head. DarkBlade keeled over, and blacked out.

Porro scrambled out from underneath his assailant, and began thanking Dragon Slayer once again when his platitudes were interrupted by the sharp report of gunfire. Two red holes appeared in Dragon Slayer’s chest, and he dropped to his knees. His eyes fixated on Porro as a lonely trickle of blood ran down from the right corner of his mouth. Porro returned the stare, and then followed Dragon Slayer’s eyes as they rolled into the back of his head, and he collapsed. Fishbulb stood in the doorway, cocked the hammer of his weapon, and fired twice more at Porro.

DarkBlade slowly sat up, massaging the side of his head. He took in the scene around him, and looked up at Fishbulb. “It’s over, isn’t it?” he asked. Fishbulb nodded silently, turned around, and left as quietly as he had entered. DarkBlade managed to get to his feet, but stooped down again to pick up the hockey stick. He ran his hands over the smooth shaft, inspected the blade, and in turn left the house, musing over the past 10 days. It really was over.

You will not participate in night kills. You will not be told who the other Mafia are. Instead, you will be relayed a name each night by me. This name comes from the Mafia, and it is your target for the next day. You should try and get this person killed during the day. If you are successful, the Mafia will secretly hide you away in a safe house for the night (provided there is a suitable safe house), protecting you from any other attempted night kills and police investigations (any cop will find you not at home, and receive no result). Every night you will receive a name, your target for the next day.

You have one other option at your disposal. Your trusty sniper rifle has two bullets loaded in it. During the day, and only up to two times in the game, you may write the word “bang” somewhere in one of your posts. You should PM me to point this out as well, but I will try and notice. About 24 hours (real time) after you make the post with the word “bang”, I will openly declare your target dead, shot in the head by a sniper rifle in broad daylight… The day will continue, with the town still allowed to lynch someone.

Your identity will not be revealed, but you obviously take a chance by writing the word “bang”. It is up to you to creatively disguise your post. Oh, and writing something like “banging” does not count. The word must stand-alone.

Anyway, if you choose to use this option, you will again be protected from night kills and police investigations that night. But you may only use this option up to two times during the game (and obviously only once per day).

Although the Mafia do not know this, you cannot be killed by conventional night killers, due to your extensive training. Instead, you will ambush your (attempted) killer, and instruct him/her to leave and never return to your dwelling. You will not be told the identity of this person (you’d rather not know, really). The killer will be told of this encounter, but the Mafia or other killer will have to deduce what it means by themselves.

The most important part: Your victory condition is to survive. You really don’t care who comes out ahead, you just want to live, maybe retire someplace nice...

Please confirm, and then await your first target, which you will receive tonight.


You are Mafia (MAFIA)

Together with jeep, Bobacino, Leonidas, DarkBlade, and Mackay, you are trying to kill all the members of the town. You must designate one Mafia henchmen as the killer each night (a different person may be chosen each night). The Mafia henchman designated to make the kill may not use another ability the same night!

Luckily, you have the contact of a professional Assassin who is living in this town. Every night, along with your kill, you may request that I relay one name to the assassin. (S)He will do everything in their power to get that person killed the next day. You may choose a different name each night.

>> If the mafia target the Mayor, they have the option of turning the Mayor. If they choose this option, the Mayor must, in his next post, vote for a person of the Mafia’s choosing. The Mayor may only vote for this person this day. The Mafia maintain this control over the Mayor until the mayor dies. The mayor may continue to say what he wants. If the mayor does not vote properly, he will be day killed. Otherwise, the mafia may only kill him by targeting him again.

Mafia 1
You are a Safe House owner (MAFIA)

In addition to being Mafia, you own a safe house where you will hide your assassin after his successful missions. This is a passive role. If you die, the assassin will no longer be able to hide in your safe house.

Mafia 2
You are OJ Simpson (MAFIA)

In addition to being Mafia, you will be found innocent by cops who investigate you. However, you must make a reference to a bloody glove in at least one post every day. If you do not follow these instructions, you will lose your protection from cops.

Mafia 3
You are a corrupt Cop (MAFIA)

In addition to being Mafia, you will be able to investigate one person per night. You may not be the mafia henchperson who performs the kill and investigate on the same night.

Mafia 4
You are the Kryptonite holder (MAFIA)

You may pick a target every night. If that target is Superman, you kill Superman. If not, nothing happens. Your Kryptonite protects your family from Superman’s abilities until you die. You may not be the mafia henchperson who performs the kill and uses the Kryptonite on the same night.

Mafia GodFather
You are the Millionaire (MAFIA)

A respected member of the town, everyone honours your success and invites you to all the box socials. Unbeknownst to them, you are the evil Mafia Godfather. You will of course turn up innocent to conventional cop investigations. You may not be killed at night.

You have final say in deciding night targets if there are disagreements. You may even privately contact me to give me a target that is different from what I receive from another mafia, and I will honour your choice over whatever else I receive.

You have a daughter, <<insert name here>>, who you may talk with at night. She is innocent, and believes you are innocent.


You are a member of a Band of Kidnappers (INNOCENT)

Along with Dragon Slayer, Kelvin, ambic, and CaptainBlicero, you form a group of professional kidnappers. You have come to this town to kidnap the millionaire’s daughter, and collect the ransom you are sure he will pay. Unfortunately, you don’t know who the millionaire is, or who his daughter is. You decide to begin kidnapping people randomly.

You may kidnap one person per night with your band, and bring them to one of your houses. That is, you must specify a target, and one of your houses to hide the target in. That target will “disappear” for the duration of 1 night and 1 day, and escape immediately after the next day’s lynching. You may not kidnap the same person 2 nights in a row. The kidnap victims are never told any of your identities. They will not be allowed to perform their role on the night they were kidnapped, and will not be able to post, vote or be lynched on the following day. They may perform their role on the night they escape.

If you find the millionaire’s daughter, I will let you know, and give you new instructions.

You may talk with your band at night. All of you are innocent, and know each other to be innocent.

>> If a cop investigates the house where you elect to hide your victim on the same night you kidnap that victim, the cop will be told that he witnessed a kidnapping, and will be told who was kidnapped. However, he will only be told the identity of the owner of the house, not every kidnapper. Conversely, if the cop goes to the victim’s house, no one will be home. A arrest may be made.

>>If a killer comes to the house where you elect to hide your victim on the same night you kidnap that victim, the killer will kill the owner of the house, and the kidnap victim will escape at the end of the night.


You are the millionaire’s daughter (INNOCENT)

Your father, the millionaire, is <<insert name here>>. You may talk with him at night. He is innocent.


You are a prostitute (INNOCENT)

You may pick one target per night, and block their role by “occupying” them.


You are the carrier of an airborne virus (SERIAL KILLER)

You don’t actually kill people outright, but your victory condition is to be the last one alive. Every night, you may target one person, infecting them. The disease is deadly. You also know that once a person is infected, they can spread it to others. Of course, being a hapless virus victim yourself, you’re not quite sure how all this works. Good luck!


You are a biochemist (INNOCENT)

You are a scientist, not a doctor. You have recently developed an antidote for a dangerous virus that has been reported in a few neighbouring towns. Anticipating the arrival of the virus here, and expecting it to mutate, you have designed the perfect antidote. Unfortunately, it hasn’t been approved by the FDA, so you can’t sell it. Instead, you may only administer the antidote to people who come looking for the drug.
Fearing an epidemic, you begin making more of the drug. Every night, you may give a vial of the drug (enough for the whole town) to another person, with instructions on how to administer the drug to anyone who may need it. Hopefully this is enough to prevent pandemonium.
One word of warning: you are not immune to the virus. It is NOT within your best interest to declare to the town that you have a drug that protects against the disease. If you become infected, your supply of drugs will become contaminated, and thus useless.


You are an FBI rising star (INNOCENT)

Think big blockbuster movie, like Silence of the Lambs. Fresh out of the academy, you know everything, and the town’s hopes rest on your shoulders. You may investigate 1 person per night, and you will always be told their allegiance, even if they normally would be found innocent by a normal cop. You are sane.
You will also be able to survive 1 night kill. You will not be told who tried to kill you.

>> FBI agent finds kidnap victim
If the FBI agent investigates the house where the kidnap victim is being held, the victim escapes at the end of the night, and the FBI agent is told the identities of the ENTIRE kidnapping band. They are also informed that the kidnappers are technically innocent.

>>FBI agent find terrorist
If the FBI agent finds the terrorist, the agent will be given the option to arrest the terrorist on this night, AND every subsequent night until the agent elects to do so.


You are a small-town cop (INNOCENT)

Not very interested by these tales of Mafia, you are more concerned with other crimes that are committed in your town. Together with << insert name here >>, your partners, you are looking for people who are explicitly breaking the law for other reasons. Every night you may investigate someone, and if they are guilty of something, you will arrest them, and put them in the county jail (after they perform any role they have that night). An arrested person may not post, may not be lynched, and may not perform their role at night (but, again, they can the night you arrest them). You may release an arrested person at the end of any night (not the same night you arrest them) by informing me of your wish that night.
You may talk with your prisoners at night. That is, they may want to convince you to release them, and this is your opportunity to listen to their testimony.
It should be noted that the council will be voting on the fate of the prisoners the night after you arrest them. This is the same night you may begin talking with them. If you choose the release a prisoner, that takes precedent over whatever the council decides. If you choose not to release a prisoner, they are in the council’s hands.
It is important to note that you may not be able to tell that the Mafia are doing anything wrong, so you may not be able to arrest some of the Mafia (you need “just cause”).
The game will end in the town’s favour if all evil people are dead, or behind bars.


You are a terrorist (SERIAL KILLER)

Your only goal is total carnage. You don’t even stand behind any political group or cause. Your only wish is to destroy. Every night you may very messily kill one person. You may elect to describe your method of destruction as well (like house bomb, fire, automatic weapon fire…) or I will choose something equally terrifying. The town should fear going to sleep while you are alive. Every kill should be a statement that worse is to come. Your victory condition: kill everyone.


You are a wizard (INNOCENT)

You have a number of spells, which you may each use once per game, and only one per night. After you cast a spell, it is used up. You do not need to cast a spell on any given night.
1) Shroud of Darkness – will skip the next day, causing this night and the next night to occur consecutively. Everyone, including you, will be told the results of this night, and then proceed into the next night.
2) Magic Armour – will protect a target of your choosing from night kills for the next 3 nights, starting tonight.
3) Detect Alignment – will reveal the alignment (good or evil) of 3 consecutive people on the “alive players” list.
4) Mind Control – will give you control of your target’s vote for the next day. They will be able to do nothing else but vote for a person of your choosing.
5) Plague – you may pick one of the 10 plagues from the bible, and I will cause it to happen to the town during the next day. This does nothing relevant, but will send the town into hysterics!


You are a retired bodyguard (INNOCENT)

Having made a comfortable living protecting an old important person (who passed away by natural causes, thank you very much) you feel a little pressure to put your skills to use in the coming few days. Every night you may pick someone to protect, and they will be protected from night kills. However, if they are targeted when you protect them, you get lightly injured. Your injury will be visible to the town. If you successfully protect someone a second time, your injury will be more severe. The third time, you will die. The injuries have no affect on your performance (until you die!). Nothing happens to you if no one targets your choice.

You also have the opportunity to intercept a day kill. I will warn you if a day kill is about to occur, and who the attempt is being made on. This will work the same way as a night kill.

You are Superman (INNOCENT)

You may pick a target every night. Then you may choose one of two things: You may protect that target, or investigate that target

>> Superman may not kill any of the Mafia if the Kryptonite holder is still alive. Superman will receive no result when he investigates the Mafia if the Kryptonite holder is still alive. Superman may not protect someone from a Mafia kill if the Kryptonite holder is still alive.


You are the Paragon of Mafia Hunters (INNOCENT)

You have an uncanny ability to find Mafia. If a bandwagon you start (that is, you are the first person to vote for) gets up to half the number required to lynch, rounded up, you will be contacted by the mod. The mod will inform you whether your “target” is innocent or guilty. You will only be informed for the FIRST occurrence of each day. That is, you may not use this ability more than once per day.

>> “Innocent”, “Not Mafia not Innocent”, and “Innocent” at first, but “Mafia” the same night, with the restriction that the Paragon cannot reveal why he got this new information.


You are the ring bearer (INNOCENT)

At any time that more then 25% of the town is voting for you, you may don your ring. You will disappear for the rest of the day. You may not post, vote, or be lynched, and any vote you had cast will be nullified.


Journalist (INNOCENT)

Every night, you may pick any one post from the previous day, and the mod will tell you whether it contained a lie or not. The mod will identify all the sentences/phrases that qualify in that post. You may also give me a story of your choosing each night, limit 250 words, to post in the morning paper anonymously.


Mayor (INNOCENT)

You may, once and only once, order the staying of the execution of one of your citizens. Any time between the time a citizen receives half the votes required for a lynch and the time they are lynched you may publicly declare the staying of the execution. This will end the day with a no lynch. You should post something like: “This Execution will be stayed”.
You also have a permanent seat on council, and all the privileges that come with it. Neither the town or the council will be informed of this, and you may be elected as a council rep by your riding.


Mad Scientist (VIGILANTE)

You have perfected a potion that turns you into a fearsome monster at night, turning back to your normal self during the next day. If you choose to consume some of your potion at night, the next day you will hide in your house, recovering, safe from lynches, but unable to post or vote.
The night you do consume the potion, you may kill one person. You have an unlimited amount of this potion, but you may not use it two nights in a row.
Note: you are a vigilante. You win when the town wins.


Expert surgeon (INNOCENT)

Every night, I will give you the list of people who were killed that night. You may choose one of them, and perform a 'miracle' to save them. They will not die that night. You may only save any given person once during the game, and you may only use this ability THREE times. You may, obviously, choose not to save anyone. The town will not be informed of any special occurrence (just like a normal doctor's protection)


Xalt-"click"-up the Alien (the click is the sound made from clicking your tongue) (solo MASON)

You are a member of a super-intelligent alien delegation, studying human interaction and social patterns. You are the leader of a mason group, which currently has only 1 member: you. Your goal is to try and protect the town from certain destruction at the hands of the mafia.
Every night, you have two choices: offer to recruit someone, or force your will upon someone. If you offer to recruit someone into your group of intellects, they will be told of your offer, and must choose by the end of the next day. You may not recruit mafia or any other evil role. You will not be able to differentiate between a refusal, and a refusal because you chose a mafia member.
If you choose to force your will upon someone, they automatically join your group at the end of the next day. You may not recruit mafia, or other evil roles.
You may talk with your group members at night. You are all assured or each other's innocence.
If you offer recruitment to someone and they accept, they keep their ability. If you force your will upon someone, they lose their ability, but gain another. This ability will be chosen from a pre-determined list of abilities by the mod. You and the target will both be informed of this new ability.
One final thing: You may, during any night, inform me of your desire to "coerce" the members of your group under your will the next day. You may control their votes by telling me whom you want them to vote for, and I will privately inform them of your choice. I will not tell them it was you who forced this upon them. They will be able to post as normal, but they will only be able to vote for your choice.


Drug Dealer (INNOCENT)

Every night you may give one of your drugs to a target of your choice. You only have one of each drug, and you may only use one drug a night. You may elect not to give any drugs on any given night.
1) Marijuana – Your target becomes very mellow, and loses the desire to do anything tonight. You effectively block their role.
2) Hallucinogen – Your target is confused about the world around him, and if they have a role, set out to perform it, except they perform their role towards a target that you specify to me. Please provide the new target when you give this drug to someone.
3) ‘Upper’ – Your target is so pumped up that they perform their role twice. The target will be given the choice of whom their second target is.
4) ‘Downer’ – Your target becomes so depressed that they do not feel like leaving the house, and instead perform their role on themselves.
5) Deadly Combination – You give your target a deadly combination of a few different drugs, and kill them.


Postal Office Worker (VIGILANTE)

Every night you may deliver one piece of mail to a target of your choice. You will be able to tell who the mail came from by inspecting the envelope. If the person you deliver to is killed that night, the burden of the job becomes too much and you go “postal”. The next day you must choose someone to shoot in broad daylight. The town will be told that you performed the killing.

Porro, to answer your endgame question, on the last night Fish killed mith and mith killed d8p. This would allow you to wake up with 2 mafia vs your two person alien cult. Since you wouldn't have quorum for council, and could never get it, there would be no lynches. DS could only guess which of you to protect for so long, and one of you would die. Then the mafia lynches the other one. Game over. So... true to the old form of night stories, I ended it when it was clinched.

I told him that in a draw situation, with townies left, you would be able to. In a mafia non-draw situation, you loses.

Yeah... after the town lynched Corsato and the Mafia killed Someone (while mith offed Leo), it was down to 3 townies, 2 cult members and 2 mafia. The no lynch basically guaranteed the town couldn't win (unless mafia killed cult, mith killed more mafia, lynch, etc.)

You'll see once I get all the events tidied up that if the aliens FORCED recruited enough, they would gain a killer. Otherwise, they were supposed to win by recruiting a majority, as usual for a cult.

And, I stand by my endgame resolution. 2 mafia > 2 cult > 2 townies.

Ok. My busy week is almost over. So I'll post a few more things now, and a few more things on the weekend. Let's see...

HOCKEY SCORES:

Every non-INNOCENT or GROUP of people was assigned a colour in my spreadsheet so I could remind myself who was talking to/associated with whom. Mafia were green, kidnappers were orange, aliens were pink, the two cops were blue, SKs were purple, and Vigs were blue. When two teams played each other, a goal was scored for every excess member in the SAME group that one neighbourhad had over the other.

Thus, the only real information that could have been reasonable collected was that neighbourhoods that won a lot of games had more of the above groups than others. In theory, it MIGHT have helped at the very end of the game, but I was going to cancel the season as soon as one nieghbourhood got wiped out anyway.

Really though, I just wanted hockey scores (all papers need sports scores) that weren't randomly calculated, but couldn't be deciphered.

Situations

1) The kidnappers snatch the millionaire’s daughter (or the millionaire! All ‘her’s also refer to the millionaire)

If the millionaire is dead, then the kidnappers are out of luck. In frustration, they may kill the daughter. If she is kidnapped on night N, the kidnappers will be told on night N what has occurred. They have until night N+1 to decide whether to kill her. They may not kidnap on night N+1. If they do decide to kill her, they kill her during night N+1, and she may not be saved. She will be missing until Day N+2 (a total of 3 nights, and found on the 3rd day), when she is found dead in a river. If they do not decide to kill her, she is released early morning, between night N+1 and Day N+1.

If the millionaire is alive, all hell breaks loose. The Mafia secretly declares war on the kidnappers. The Millionaire will receive a ransom demand, which he has no intention of paying. The Millionaire will publish a plea in the newspaper, which will run a special edition that very same day (the mod will do this). The millionaire’s daughter will remain a prisoner until the kidnapper who is housing her is killed, when she will be found, and returned to the millionaire. The kidnappers may not kidnap unless they release or kill her (releases take place early morning, kills at night). The kidnappers will be told that if they receive the ransom, they win, and may leave the town victorious. This will never occur.
From this point on, the Mafia may send out up to 3 people per night in addition to their kill and their investigation (they must choose, 1 person per job), to “interrogate” up to 3 different people. An interrogation leaves the person weak the next day; they may only make 1 post. Every interrogation has 2 results: kidnapper, no kidnapper. If the victim is a kidnapper, the Mafia may interrogate him again the next night. This victim will die, but again, only if the victim is a kidnapper. The Mafia are trying to kill all the kidnappers, regardless of whether the daughter is found (the double interrogation is a free innocent kill… they need no other incentive).
The kidnappers are clueless that they will not get out ahead in this situation.

HOWEVER, the story takes a twist here. If the kidnappers have the daughter (not the millionaire!) then each member of the kidnapper’s band is asked if he wishes to fall in love with the daughter, each night. If so, he must pick a colour. As well, the daughter is asked to pick one member of the band (by number) to fall in love with (or choose not to) and a colour. This begins to happen the night AFTER the kidnapping takes place. If the daughter picks someone who falls in love with her and the colous match, they escape the NEXT night (2 nights after the kidnapping, unless the plan is to kill her, in which case they escape before she is killed. If she is to be released, the love fails…), elope, and are declared winners. This is published the next day, and the “interrogations” cease. As well, the kidnappers band may continue to kidnap, if they wish.

In either situation, they may kidnap again after the daughter (or millionaire) is released or killed.


2) Infected person

A person infected on night N is told about their infection at the beginning of night N+1. They may begin looking for the drug. If they have a role, they will look for the drug while performing their role. They may pick one person on night N+1, and 1 person on night N+2. If the person they go to does not have the drug, they are infected as well, but with a minor version. If the person they go to has the drug, the infected person is cured. During day N+1, an infected person is visibly diseased. At the beginning of day N+2, they die.

Anyone infected with a minor version of the virus on night N is informed of their infection on night N+1. They may begin looking for the drug on night N+1, and continue looking until they find it. They will pass on a minor version of the virus. They show signs of disease on day N+1, but they will not die.

If the virus carrier targets the biochemist, the biochemist is infected. He is now giving out useless drugs. The biochemist may go to one of the drug holders once he realizes he is infected. If the virus targets someone else with the drug, the target becomes infected. You may not self-administer the drug, and that person’s drug becomes contaminated, and useless.

If at any time half the town becomes infected, the town is quarantined that morning, and anyone showing disease is put under watch. They may no longer perform their roles, but they continue to search for the drugs. Note this does not kill the virus, or even necessarily mean that all infected people are watched.


3) Jail gets full

If at any time the jail has 2 or more people in it, either the Mafia or the kidnappers may attempt a jailbreak the NEXT night. In either case, all people in jail will be released. Any group that elects to jailbreak will not be able to use their other abilities. If the Mafia or the kidnappers attempt a jailbreak, they will leave the cops alive, but bound up, blindfolded and gagged in the jail. No identities will be revealed. The escaped convicts may not use their abilities that night.
The cops may not search the night of the jailbreak.

ALIEN SCENARIOS:

4) Abilities gained from forced will (in order)
1. You may protect any one member in the alien mason group each night, including yourself.
2. You may investigate any one person each night.
3. Your brain was not able to cope with the foreign energies being directed at it. You have been killed.
4. You have the ability to offer to recruit 1 person each night.
5. You have the ability to protect any one person each night, including yourself.
6. Your brain was not able to cope with the foreign energies being directed at it. You have been killed.
7. You have the ability to kill one person per night.

5) Alien mason group grows in size.
When the alien group grows to 4 people, Xalt becomes blinded by his power. His goal changes to wanting to gain control of the entire town (evil cult). Each night in addition to his recruitment, he may attempt to convert any given person in his mason group. A person who is already under his will is automatically converted, while a person who freely joined the group is first brought under his will (that is, it takes two nights of "conversion"). If at any time the number of converted people (including Xalt) is more than half the town, Xalt wins, and the converts claim a minor victory.
