How ironic that this post is itself scummier than anything Karen's said all game. Getting pissed about the fact that there's a baseless bandwagon on you is NORMAL. I'd be pissed if too if I were Karen.Flyinghawk wrote:
who would you suggest we investigate, if not her. While, potentially, Karen may not be scum, right now shes scummier than anyone else in the game. So, even with her obnoxiously overzealous defense of herself, and her accusation that the people who are voting for her are scum(illogical), my vote stays on her until someone can make a case that says someone else is scummier than karen.Green Day wrote:Okay well said. I agree with you partly there. But before getting rid of her straight away, I think it would be good if we waited a while and investigated other people too. Before we make a quick and potentially stupid decision. And also like I said before, There is bound to be scum from at least one side voting against her, so it would be good to monitor those people.

Sorry, but this screams to me of someone trying way too hard to look like he's town. Didn't you originally cast your vote for Karen as her BW was picking up? Do you agree with her assessment? You consider her a well versed, not-new player? Or could she be wrong?Flyinghawk wrote:Karen has made it very plain that she considers herself a well versed, not-new player. If this is the case, than we can't excuse all of her blunders to 'newbie' mistakes.
I disagree. She has been acting scummy all game,
Well... we already established that your scumdar is less than perfect.and since you've been defending her I see some mafia protecting mafia vibes coming from you.
On the contrary. They ARE a nonsense, and I'll continue to defend players that are being unjustly bandwagoned. And when she turns out not scum, I'll continue to campaign for the lynches of the players who campaigned so hard for their lynches. Don't try and intimidate me into silence please.Fos:Dybeckthe votes on Karen are not "a nonsense' as you so eloquently put it, so be careful not to over defend her.
Of course the ironic thing is that she might well BE scum! But my belief is that there's absolutely nothing to suggest either way.Eeny. Meeny. Miney. Vote.-

Out of interest, what is an alt? Also, you are not an alt. Alts of good players do not play like crap. Alts of bad players don't even play this badly. So stop.
You truly find Karen scummier than Green Day?Dybeck: How do you not see a case here?
This is horrific representation, as I think you're awareCKD: If you wish we'd hung Karen 10 posts ago (as 174 seems to imply), why aren't you voting for her?FOS: CephrirEeny. Meeny. Miney. Vote.-

Zoneace, you've been around far too long to be spouting bullshit like this.ZONEACE wrote:Your actions yesterday were disconcerting, yes, Karen ended up being town, but there was the possibility she was scum coupled with her inability to aid the town in ANY WAY. It was obvious that our best option yesterday was to lynch her and you were completely opposed to it but gave us no better ideas.
It was very clear to some people yesterday that the bandwagon on Karen was based on spiderwebs and fairydust and that our best option was to carry on discussion until we had some more information. To pretend otherwise is more than idiocy, it's a blatant lie.
Clearly "I don't know who the scum are" is not the same as "Karen must be the scum".
Additionally, "I don't know who the scum are" is not the same as "We must lynch someone as soon as possible - let's pick a poor player"
FOS: ZONEACE. If youaretown, you should think about rereading your last post and retracting it. You should frankly be ashamed of typing such obvious rubbish.Eeny. Meeny. Miney. Vote.-

It occurs to me that since scum groups can't NK each other, it's not necessarily in their best interests to kill each other.
Which might explain why so many people in this game are on board with such obviously bad lynches.
There's every chance that town is in theminorityhere, and facing off against a LOT of scum. So everyone needs to be careful they're not blindly following the crowd.Eeny. Meeny. Miney. Vote.-

ZONEACE, actually, a simple majority is what we need.
Most of us our pro-town, and want to lynch scum. Some of us are scum, and want to lynch town. What we don't want is the scum to form a consensus.
I'd prefer everyone to make up their own minds and vote accordingly - not to be led into joining the concensus by people who may not even be town.Eeny. Meeny. Miney. Vote.-

In general, no, but if we're wrong about him, then yes.
If we get a few more people to give their input (who haven't input much lately), i'll gladly put my vote back on him.
This is the most useless post ever. You say, you think voting him is a good idea UNLESS he's not scum.

Nonsense.
The Karen bandwagon was utterly BASELESS, and those who leapt on it so readily are suspicious in the extreme. Pointing out this fact, with the intention of lynching some of them, is PROTOWN. It is not scummy. It is necessary.Eeny. Meeny. Miney. Vote.-

I may just sit back and see which innocent you run up today.
With about two exceptions, you lot could possibly be the most incompetent scumhunters I've ever been in a game with.
I sincerely believe you wouldn't know a scumtell if it jumped up and attempted to bite you on the ass, and then congratulated the doctor for saving you from the collective bitten ass.Eeny. Meeny. Miney. Vote.-

Lynching Green Day is slightly less idiotic than Karen, but this day is FAR from over. Let's see what happens when his replacement posts his defence. To suggest that we should lynch before a replacement is found is just likely to leave us in the dark again tomorrow.

His desperation to get a pro-towner lynched yesterday with minimal discussion. And his attempts to do the same today. Although, I agree, that seems to be the strategy of half the people in this game.Flyinghawk wrote:Could either Dybeck, CKD, Killerbob, or Twomz please give a detailed reason as to why voting Cephrir is better than voting the Absentee Thorn?
At this point, voting Thorn looks like the easy way out(he's defenless due to not posting) and so I'd like to take a look at Cephrir again. I remember seeing some scummy things to his gameplay earlier on, But lately I haven't been able to pick up the same vibe.
And voting for someone just because they're not here to defend themselves is stupid. We need more discussion, not less. And we want to hear the defences, because it gives us more info.
Mod: can we have a retraction please until we get a replacement!Eeny. Meeny. Miney. Vote.-

Of course it's perfectly valid.
It doesn't help you to decide whether or not to vote him, and it wouldn't srtand up in a court of law. But we all need to vote the person we think it most likely to be scum. And if all we have to go on is instinct and hunches, then that's how we vote.Eeny. Meeny. Miney. Vote.-
