I think my case on Spyrex at the end of the day was a lot different than my previous "slinging." I re-evaluated the entire game, and decided on Spy as the best possible lynch. I don't think that some trepidation about that decision losing the game (by basically assuring my own lynch if I'm wrong) is a bad thing.

I wasn't more than 70% sure Spyrex was scum, and a 1 in 3 shot at losing the game is scary.

Because it later became quite clear that if I was wrong, I myself would be lynched the next day, which would effectively end the game.

I'd argue that the people causing the lurking(wallers), were ruining the game more than the lurkers, because they were the ones causing the lurking. Ah the part that makes this great is that I don't even like playing as scum and feel like I suck at it anyway. Just read a few games I've played as scum and you'll see.

I don't see why I should grant you that respect when you post your early reads in the same post and they're not especially good. Maybe you are a good player, but you weren't this game.

I basically stopped caring about this game when I pointed this out several times, only to be replied with 'STOP LURKING SCUMBAG'

Your extremely anti-town play made it possible for other people to be upfront about their anti-towness and suffer no consequences.

Usually people will try to avoid being anti-town when called upon it. But you, as DDD, were defiant.

So yeah. You were an important factor for DDD's survival.
