Therein lies the issue with your fervent slinging of whatever you could get to stick.GIEFF 3174 wrote:I didn't think there was any chance of you switching, and evenif you did switch but Spy flipped town,I didn't think there was any chance I would avoid a lynch the next day.
Plus, I'm reasonable enough to avoid a No Lynch even on my bad days.Everything you say and do matters. People will respond in ways you may never see. May those responses be what you intend.- Vi

I think my case on Spyrex at the end of the day was a lot different than my previous "slinging." I re-evaluated the entire game, and decided on Spy as the best possible lynch. I don't think that some trepidation about that decision losing the game (by basically assuring my own lynch if I'm wrong) is a bad thing.
I wasn't more than 70% sure Spyrex was scum, and a 1 in 3 shot at losing the game is scary.- GIEFF

Risk is part of the game if you want to lynch scumbags.GIEFF wrote:
Because it later became quite clear that if I was wrong, I myself would be lynched the next day, which would effectively end the game.Vi wrote:Edit for English: If you were concerned that SpyreX was going to flip Town, why trip over yourself demonizing him?- GIEFF

Ok, so because I actually was able to come up with some names and stay interested in Death Note, but not here, I looked scummy here? Noted for future reference. Appear more interested.Vi wrote:@Kmd: You in Death Note:

a) I hope we are even NOW!
b) I too was shocked that everyone thought I was a "weird" NK choice... I mean OBV!!
c) I am disappointed at the lack of respect shown to me by DDD in your quicktopic. He apparently doesn't know that I would have seen all three of you dead had I lived. Hm."if you weren't trying to be so unnecessarily mysterious all the time we wouldn't have these misunderstandings" - Yosarian2- Vi

I would ask if you thought being disinterested would help you, but it certainly worked for DDD, so >.>Kmd4390 3185 wrote:

I'd argue that the people causing the lurking(wallers), were ruining the game more than the lurkers, because they were the ones causing the lurking. Yaw did the best he could having to keep up with this ridiculously fast game, and if he has trouble, you can't expect everyone to post as much as you did.GIEFF wrote:But your point is a good one, hasd - Yaw had just 36 hours to replace Cephrir after the night check-in. That's more on Cephrir (and Sensfan for quickhammering) than on Yaw. But just because Cephrir and Mastin played horribly doesn't let Yaw off the hook completely. At a certain point, you have to realize that these players are ruining the game, and take action, especially when you have people waiting in the wings to replace in.jdodge1019: hasjghsalghsakljghs is from vermont

jdodge1019: thus he is a cow- Vi

I don't see why I should grant you that respect when you post your early reads in the same post and they're not especially good. Maybe you are a good player, but you weren't this game.camn wrote:

A million times this.
I basically stopped caring about this game when I pointed this out several times, only to be replied with 'STOP LURKING SCUMBAG'(11:04:10 PM) senspizzaline: That's actually my bold prediction for the year

Your extremely anti-town play made it possible for other people to be upfront about their anti-towness and suffer no consequences.
Usually people will try to avoid being anti-town when called upon it. But you, as DDD, were defiant.
So yeah. You were an important factor for DDD's survival.I'm back...- alexhans

You seem to think I was so anti-Town, when you really mean to say that I couldn't possibly keep up analyzing this game to find Scumbags, and the mere thought of maybe rereading was a complete joke.alexhans wrote:
