@zMuffin: Please don't answer questions for other people.
ZMuffin wrote:But like, if you agreed with tomie about bowser.... why are you asking tomie about bowser?
I agreed(agree) Bowser was scummy.
I did(do) not see any link between the alignment of Mastin and Bowser, which was what I was asking about.
@Bowser: If you accuse me of being scum you need reasons. Tell us what they are.
@Mastin: Even if you find me scummy, you could still answer my question:

Yes, I was looking for reactions.
No, that doesn't mean my list was not serious. It was dead serious, still is.

That early on though, they pretty much are. You don't get a town read off me because I said a stupid joke with my confirm, and then voted for SRG purely because "he'd vote me first otherwise and I was preventing him doing so".
Initially I thought it was mastin just trying to appear town, and I was all for the wagon, but looking over things I'm getting much more of a feel that he wanted to garner reactions from it (and has done so well) to see what happens from what is generally rubbish. As I say, no way did he get a solid town read off me from what I posted, but he's brought discussion and got us out of RVS, that's always good. Not so good when someone pops in and tries to return to RVS style voting over something so pointless as the above.
unvote;
vote: Torqez
Considering we're out of RVS, there's absolutely no reason to try and return to it. I'll accept no arguments on it being serious because hiplop's line there was pretty solid as far as I'm concerned. Meaning it was a jokey vote over something obviously pointless, despite stuff actually happening. I see no town reason to do that.- Toon Fighter

I just find it strange making a 5-person bandwagon right at the beginning of the game on a player that doesn't seem to have done that much to deserve it. My vote was the first, and a RV, and, since I find no better place to put it, it stays there. But the other player's votes weren't like mine.~Toon fighter~- PranaDevil

I can understand some of the votes. It did look like mastin was just trying to "appear" town with his lists to begin with, and I did consider voting for him initially, before looking at things in a different light and seeing that he likely was helping generate discussion. I'd be shocked if at least one scum wasn't on his wagon.- mastin2

Prana, please get off of Torquez. Torq is actually one of my strongest town-reads right now. Additionally, if you think there's at least one scum on my wagon, do vote inside of it. Not out.
Actually, it's six. (Half way to a lynch.) Not five. Maxous unvoted me earlier.Toon wrote:I just find it strange making a 5-person bandwagon right at the beginning of the game on a player that doesn't seem to have done that much to deserve it.My academy.

If there is one scum on the wagon and 3-4 off the wagon then it does'nt matter where you vote.
As for Toon - 109: The only person I remember bringing any kind of accusation against Mastin was Hiplop.
It does'nt really matter if he 'deserves' it or not this early on. Some people just like to build a wagon early."And before anyone bitches about me highlighting PoD's 437 when I replaced in and called everyone on my wagon communists, I remind you that communism is not alignment-indicative" - Belisarius

I'm least concerned about whether mastin is worried about appearing town during later ISOs or whether he is a wallcoholic or what have you.
I had a horrendous sense of déjà vu on page 2 once the multiple consecutive posts started appearing from mastin.
I would just rather not have to wade through all of that in later parts of the game when trying to ISO someone, whether that be mastin or anyone else.
Mastin: You claim in your signature that it isn't your job to be convincing, it's your job to be right... or something similar. How can you be wrong about things/people if you're going to churn out 10 posts/per page? It's like an old medium's trick: Go to an English person and claim to be speaking to someone named J. Last Initial and you'd hard pressed not to find a John, Jack or James somewhere in the family. Throw enough things at the wall and see what sticks.
On your wiki, Mastin, you also claim you want to be a better player and that you wouldn't log in back as Mastin for having lost a bet. Isn't it a bit disingenuous of you to be playing practically the same way now, what? three years after? the last game I played with you... albeit under a different login... and then to claim you want to do better? Isn't this exactly what brought you your first infamy?
I'm more than willing to pay attention to what you have to say... and be utterly unconvinced of you being right; and being gobsmacked if/when you are... if stuff would just come from you in smaller doses.Your happiness is intertwined with your outlook on life.- zMuffinMan

Yes it does. Less spread if people are voting within a smaller sample size.

I don't particularly care. Anything you say about it is wrong.
tomie wrote:what could there have been why I would see you as scum if Mastin is town, but not if Mastin is scum, besides you appearing scummy to me?
What did I say that isonly scummy if mastin is town?
If I "appeared" scummy, I'd appear scummy independent of mastin, yes?
Really? You're questioning Hiplop for his vote against Mastin. You find it strange that he's accusing Mastin for trying to look town. Your exact words:
"How could he possibly be trying to look good if it so obviously makes him look bad"
But guess what, you actually think Mastin is town (one of your reasons) for the same thing Hiplop thinks he's scummy. Don't use the words 'obviously' as you proves it doesn't apply here. And yet you're the one asking Hiplop how it would make Mastin look good. See the contradiction you're making here?
As for why you appeared as scummy for the first time, gut. 'OMG, the oh, so, town-looking wonderful Mastin already realised I'm town. He's that great and I'm amazing at giving town-tells.' This reminds me of Tyra Banks and some wanna-be model who thinks she's the best.
You do look scummy, however due to the sucking-up to Mastin, I can't see you 2 as scum together. Now answer the question what other reason I could have to mention you other than appearing scummy when I mentioned that you should be looked at if Mastin is town.
Mastin, it seems reminders work:
