QTs:
Mafia: http://www.quicktopic.com/46/H/M5nDHjXytfA
Dead: http://www.quicktopic.com/46/H/V5MGLB2H9przL
Masons: http://www.quicktopic.com/46/H/jrDgvbS7FuTg
There’s no neighborhood topic because paraffin died night one and didn’t use their ability.

Setup:
Mafia

Two goons (Stringer Bell, Battousai)

One JOAT, with one shot each of: track, watch, ninja kill (bypasses watcher), strongman kill (bypasses bodyguards and bulletproof SK) (eep)

One traitor role cop. The traitor knows who the mafia are, and the mafia know that there is a traitor, but not that the traitor is a role cop (trekker)

Town

8 vanilla townies (uncledaphne, Mysterio, David Xanatos, Nunez, mastin2, AntB, Pine, StevieT92)

1 gunsmith, who will get false positives on both bodyguards and false negatives on the serial killer and the traitor pre-recruitment only (Hiraki)

1 watcher (Uprising)

2 bodyguards, one of whom was designated to die if they protect the same person and that person is killed (RedFF, SodaSpirit17)

1 1-shot recruiting mason (sorgster)

1 1-shot neighborizer (paraffin)

SK

1 bulletproof serial killer (TheAwesomeAll)

Spoiler: ”Night actions”
Night one

Hiraki (gunsmith) investigates paraffin (1-shot neighborizer)
Uprising (watcher) watches RedFF (bodyguard)
RedFF (bodyguard) guards eep (mafia JOAT)

sorgster (1-shot recruiting mason) masonizes Vifam (vanilla townie)
paraffin (1-shot neighborizer) takes no action
eep (mafia JOAT) watches sorgster (1-shot recruiting mason)
trekker (traitor role cop) investigates Vifam
Stringer Bell (mafia goon) kills Mysterio (vanilla townie)
TheAwesomeAll (bulletproof serial killer) kills paraffin (1-shot neighborizer)

Results:
Hiraki learns that paraffin doesn't have a gun (useless information, but still)
Uprising learns that no one targeted RedFF

trekker (traitor role cop) investigates nocase (vanilla townie)

Results:
Hiraki learns that vifam doesn't have a gun
Uprising learns that no one targeted TheAwesomeAll

TheAwesomeAll (bulletproof serial killer) kills Hiraki (gunsmith)

Results:
Hiraki learns that TheAwesomeAll doesn't have a gun (serial killer)
Uprising learns that no one targeted RedFF (because he died in a save)
trekker learns that TheAwesomeAll is a bulletproof serial killer
RedFF dies saving Hiraki
trekker is recruited into the mafia and becomes a mafia rolecop; he is informed and the mafia are informed in the quicktopic, but they aren't allowed to talk until night four.

Night Four

Hiraki (gunsmith) investigates eep (mafia JOAT)
Uprising (watcher) watches sorgster (1-shot recruiting mason)
trekker (role cop) investigates StevieT92 (vanilla townie)

So yeah, I honestly expected the game to be over on day five. In votecounts 5.5 and 5.6, the scumteam could have theoretically quickhammered Stevie. mastin replacing in was really a turning point, considering that he called 2 or 3 scum immediately. I was sure it'd be a scumwin, then i thought it would be a town win, then i had honestly no clue what would happen on day 8 until Stevie attacked AntB.

Comments on setup/modding/play/whatever? This game started almost three months ago.

And, good set-up, implosion. Although I wish one of my abilities had actually gotten me something useful. :p

Thanks for pulling that one out, eep. Four straight scum lynches to lose the game would have been pretty embarrassing. We only needed one more mislynch in those last four days to win it, good thing it finally came. Scum MVP: eep.

Me? Oh, I'm the guy who skimmed the last few pages out of boredom a couple days back and PM'd the mod with a list of random suspects;
trekker and eep
being two of them.

AntB was the third I suspected as being scum, but I no longer think that to be the case;
I think Ant's a mislynch

Eep looks like living, breathing scum
from the last few pages, along with a few comments I saw from eep in the middle of the game.

I was quite frankly a little skeptical of Bat's claim

*snip*
Tl;dr, Trekker and Stringer are scum, with eep as their most likely buddy.

It's pretty impressive if you read the mason QT. I basically told Sorgster that he should lynch Bat if I died, since I was pretty much the only person suspicious of Bat coupled with my defense of Uprising.

And that if Bat flipped scum, that there were four scum instead of three.
And told him exactly what he needed to do in order to net another scum lynch or two. (Fortunately, the scum managed to basically do that themselves--trekker protecting Bat removed all doubt we had. :P)
AND told him that eep was my main suspect for the final scum, and I basically called exactly how things would play out. (Minus the eep-victory. :/)

It kinda sucks that I was triple-confirmed-town. If I wasn't, then maybe people woulda thought about how my reads were perhaps dangerous to the scum. :P

Oh, and by the way--this is only the third-ever game I haven't read the entirety of after replacing in. (The first being a Mini run by Kairyuu two years ago, where I replaced into lylo. The second being Powerrox's Mini, where I was a bodyguard and by my very nature wouldn't be doing my job if I lived to see another day. :P) It was awesome that I got pretty much all the info I needed from the last few pages of the game, including nailing 2/4 scum before replacing in, adding a third to the list, correctly calling the three VTs in lylo as mislynches, and casting suspicion onto the fourth.

It just wasn't enough.

^yeah, that was quite scary, I didn't think I'd make it through. We probably shouldn't have tried the trekker/battousai thing, just to have that backup.

I also wasn't sure how Pine or AntB were planning to vote, and I seriously considered killing off one of them instead of sorgster, who I thought was more likely to lean towards stevie.

I honestly didn't know why everyone was believing Uprising over me, especially when a more-likely-town-than-not-based-on-stringer-flipping-scum-role-cop claimed that I was a hider. Everyone was all, ya but uprising is a town read for defending well when attacking scummy or just wasn't even participating (antb).

Plus I didn't understand it when it was me vs Uprising. Why would there be some other reason for Uprising to claim that no one visited TAA and for me to claim I did? One of has to be scum. I just don't get the thinking that because my claim is hider that there must be something hidden (even after I said that my role PM stated that if I hide behind someone who is investigated, I will be investigated as well).

Mastin- Your theory that I was scum if you died was flawed. True, but flawed. You were pretty much considered town by everyone. Double that with you leading to stringer's lynch would net you an immediate kill no matter if I was town or not.

In the end, town played well do to Pine and mastin. If they didn't replace in, it would have been over much earlier. Hell, if I didn't rekindle the mass claim it would have ended then with a quicklynch at deadline (game was seriously stalled and was no fun).

Sorry to the rest of the scum team for my gambit. I would have thought town would buy my hider claim if trekker claimed that I was a hider and Uprising was no result (hint, town was supposed to think Uprising is a godfather and immune to investigations, and me hiding with him would give him double results). Though, trekker messed up the claim, it should have claimed to a lynch, imo, before then.

Most games don't allow for hydra-replacements, but if we find one that would, I'd love to warm up Palisade again. ;)

(your more likely to be allowed replace in as a hydra actually, especially if the mod is desperate he won't give a fuck. anyone who allows hydras allows them to replace too, afaik, so i'd not be too worried about that rule)

I wish trekker was killed and I managed to get a successful bandwagon on him. Eep simply had to be scum, I don't understand how that got changed.

trekker's bussing saved me.

also, it makes sense for people to be cautious during mylo, and I think my biggest weakness as scum is the balancing act involved in looking out for my partners/myself. when it got to just me, it became more of a game of chess, and everyone had already said the sorts of things they looked out for as scumtells.

trekker was bussing every scum member (especially SB and eep) from the get-go. I'm not sure if it was an attempt to get noticed or just an attempt to distance, but either way, it definitely did help eep survive the last day. As for the other scum in general, it feels like they just managed to stay under the radar for long enough. Enough people did enough scummy things to get the scumteam through the early days without any casualties.

The other thing that I think did the town in in the end was the fact that the power roles never really got anything useful done. On the night that hiraki finally chose a mafioso to investigate, he died. Uprising never saw anything useful. The masonry managed to survive for a long time, but it really wasn't enough.

sucks that I had the scum team figured out, and that we could've clutched it out.

I also have to blame the first few lynchees for this loss, what the hell guys. That was a sad showing as townies.

Also I was against the mass claim but I didn't think the scum were going to bungle it as hard as they did. If they would've all claimed VT like I thought they would they would've won much earlier. I don't think we would've EVER lynched trekker without him being caught in that lie.
