uhm, thoughts about the game...

First, this was painful. I think for everybody. Lynching town six days in a row isn't fun to do, or to watch. Watching the scum unlimited dayvig not kill a single person for 5 days isn't fun as a mod, or as a goon, I guess. Much of the game's pain came from that. After three mislynches this should have been over. Which is doable, you simply move on. But, uhuhm, a certain character couldn't find the trigger. Otherwise, town had 3 mislynches for two scum, two roleblockers to perhaps find the goon via a lucky block, and masons to keep the killing machine that scum was at least somewhat occupied and perhaps give town some hold on the game.

As a final thing, claiming dayvig on the last day is what could have lost you the game there. You see people going: if there are two scum, in a 16p. With two roleblockers flipped and two masons confirmed... with a claimed dayvig: what powerrole is there available for scum to balance all that? Could have directed you to the most amazing comeback of all time, since today you had to lynch thelocomotion or lose tomorrow as he daykilled.

So it was:

2 masons
2 roleblockers
10 VT

vs.

1 assassin
1 goon

Hmmzorz.

The two roleblockers had the whole counterclaim problem (one RB pushed to claim, other CCs, they lynch one then the other is NKed). 2 masons is fine but town could have still used some more power I think. One thing about only having two mafia in a game this size is it is really hard to come across relational tells when there are no dead scums. And giving the scum a daykill, eehhhhhh.... Does "unlimited" mean they could have daykilled every day? It doesnt seem that way given that they would have done so. What does that mean?

All in all this was a really unpleasant game to have to read through, and I was quite irritable thoughout my time in it. So yeah. Sorry if I was a bit more abrasive than I needed to be.

Also, can we get the scum and dead qts?

p. edit: so it was an unlimited extra kill for the scum? Holy fucking fuck.

Yes, it exactly means that. Precisely. And hiraki should have shot, damnit. And there's a reason town is getting a bunch of powerroles against just two scum. RB's grow in value massively when the first scum is lynched (even if you don't know it, you can backtrack at some point). So yes, it was very swingy, I give you that.

I actually discussed this with greygnarl as I knew claiming dayvig would've been a game killer

Holy fuck how the fuck did it work?

I even had a post that I clearly stated that scum had to have some PR type of scum role--there was so much opportunity to strike us down there.
