Yay I'm glad DGB and Rainbow weren't scum : )
Good job town I enjoyed reading this

Mastin, there's a crack in your armor ;)

My general feelings about Nightless games in particular
You better have a damn good scum game if you want to actively play in one
Risking the chance of drawing scum without the power to kill who you want or power roles means the game is entirely about your skills of persuasion and day play. For that reason I am very wary of these types of games because I feel that my scum game is mediocre at best

If you do draw scum, come up with a massive bus/distance gambit
Personally I would have set up one of the better town players as a person who lynched a lot of scum, throw in a few mislynches between the scum lynches, hope for the best

The fear of drawing scum in a Nightless is enough to keep me away from it. Except Fortnight where I felt the risk was manageable between number of scum compared to town and the mechanics.

Nice game to follow along :)

Your case on me was awesome. It was BS but somehow when there's a huge wall of BS instead of a lump on the sidewalk, it starts to smell fresh instead of foul.

Nice to see I was right about key and serra Jen slots not as sure on the tua slot and was pretty suspicious of dgb at that point. Once they flipped though I was pretty sure that mo was town. I thought nacho was town. HD was the surprise for me. I thought dgb was doing exactly what mo just posted, especially as townies started getting lynched.

Optimal scum play in a nightless is not to bus at all because bussing a partner means you need to get 2 more mislynches instead of just one. If you can't manage that, you're looking at mislynch as much as possible, bus once. Mislynch as much as possible, bus once. HD could've pulled off the GOD of all bussing sprees, but he still had what, 7 mislynches to go through?

I mean, isn't that what won Peta and BB their respective Nightless games?

Although to be fair I am in favor of the more ... Flamboyant scum play than the safer way.

peta didn't end up bussing that much; he caught the other team and he bussed when it was right. I didn't read the BB one.

Well multiball is harder to win as scum either way.

Still think im one of the few to win a pure 8:4 nightless as scum. I told yall going into this that town was probably going to crush though, imagine if I didn't pull an extra 4(?) VT out of the setup when it first was in signups. Its hard to know when to bus

Modkills were unfortunate but necessary. Pretty blatantly against site rules and it basically confirmed a town MM from where I was, no way scum in the "im selfvoting" stage is going to make that bet with scum who they obviously dislike.

Good game town! I'm so glad you guys won this.

I'm sorry I replaced out. I had no idea Arthur would go on such a long v/la; he had been super busy before he even went v/la and we hadn't talked in forever. I almost replaced back in so that you wouldn't have to find a replacement, but by that time I had already discussed the game with Empire and Faraday and it wouldn't have been right to replace back in. I mean neither of them were spoiled, but at least Empire had given me his thoughts on the game by that point, so it still wouldn't have been right. But, I'm really sorry for the inconvenience.

That being said, DGB, I don't know if you have a personal issue with me or not. It kinda feels that way after the way you reacted to me in Castle Zar when I asked you to explain your reads and then how you reacted to me here. I think it was pretty obvious if you read my play that though I suspected you I was trying to work out my read on you, and I hope that if it is a personal issue you have with me that you work that out because I think it had a negative impact on this game and it didn't have to. I mean I completely own up to the fact that I have a tendency to get more emotional than I should, but I think if you would have taken a step back and tried to see where I was coming from we could have worked together.

Nacho did you really forget mew was me? Empire was like lol Nacho thinking your slot could have been scum and I think my reaction was like yeah BB too wtf? Actually BB moreso than Nacho as BB and I have been partners before, so I would have thought he had a better handle on how I would react to being called scum and getting frustrated in a game.

Mastin/Nero - I love ya both, but you were suspicious as hell. I was scum reading your slot from Nero's posts and then even more from your posts. I really don't think you were building up a bunch of cred as you just made your slot more suspicious the more you posted. I don't get any credit for being on your lynch because I entered my stubborn stage and refused to be on any lynch DGB was pushing at that point, but if you read my posts I characterized both of you as meh and worthy of a lynch. I think that no matter what you guys were getting lynched and both of you guys were pretty suspicious in your posting.

I wish I wouldn't have let my early Jennifer suspicions go. She didn't actually answer my questions, and her catch up post as she admitted didn't contain alignment relevant things. I started to ignore that in the wake of my DGB argument as I started to think that she was white-knighting Jennifer especially when I thought part of her going after me was because I started suspecting HD.

Syryana had me 100% fooled. I thought he was completely town after his replace in. I didn't think much of Serra before him, but I thought Syry was total town. So, hanging my head in shame with that one.

I'm glad that my silly somewhat town tell on Rachmarie's slot wasn't so silly after all. I mean it wasn't exactly that of course, but I suppose it was along the same lines, that's what I'm telling myself anyway.

Anyway, good game town, thanks for modding it Voided, and sorry for replacing out.

I'd play in a nightless again, but I think that in a game like this making it daytalk for the scum team is only fair. There's mountainous and then there's MOUNTAINOUS.

Yes, it was. But after that I only won because we quicklynched people for the next 6 hours AND because I made myself seem really town in the early game AND I lynched Reck and anyone else who started to suspect me minorly.

Bussing is only optimal if you think you can make it to endgame obviously.

Wow.. We won.. Never thought HD may be the scum.
i should have guessed when he called off his vote from Syranna..but actually the case he made on Syranna is what provoked me to suspect Syranna the most.

Great game MOD, your have a hell out of patience to host a large game like this :) Hugs :)
And I always enjoy signing up your games :)
