As frustrated as I am with days 5-8 my bad in lylo. I can point to a lot of other things over the course of the game that led to lylo being a worse situation than it needed to be, but ultimately lylo is my bad.

It was a good game overall though. I'm happy with my play up until lylo more or less.

Oh and yeah I really love the setup design and it sparked some things in my head about the definition of backupr oles being possibly ill-defined? maybe. But I really like the idea of the backup nurse. It's cool both from just an idea perspective and from the perspective of potentially reducing swing.

@beeboy: this is why we don't randomly fakeclaim as town. Please don't randomly fakeclaim as town in the future . You should have explicitly claimed on day four as an odd-night cop assuming you didn't have some good reason not to - you have two results, you're not going to get another for two more nights, and there's a vig actively shooting in the non-PR claims who thinks that your miller claim doesn't add up.

@dunn: apparently I'm guessing you shot a50 the night you died and I saved him. This could have been avoided if we had planned out nights between all of the living claimed PRs better so that there was no confusion between you and a50 possibly targeting the same person, or just through better planning in general. This is why I wanted you to explicitly claim that you were a full vig, so that we could actually plan night actions around each other, but it never wound up happening... I mean, I would have disagreed with you shooting a50 at that point, but at the very least we could have coordinated in a way that would have made your action not useless.

@transcend: sorry about missing the plan to confirm a50 as having blocking powers - I didn't see it at the time but in retrospect it's a smart idea, and if I'd seen it I might have protected you that night :/. Although iirc I was more suspicious of you than of a50 at that point.

As soon as I was NKed I strongly suspected A50. I can't say I knew it was him, but I had a justified and true belief that it was him. Basically he was painted in to a corner with his fake result on me serving to clear me when taken in conjunction with the MD result. If Zach had been the NK, his only way to 'unconfirm' me would be to admit that he'd lied about his result on me. So from Scum A50's position, I had to be NKed for there to be any chance for him to win.

If Zach had been scum, I'd have expected him to take out Implosion, leaving A50 to choose between two people he'd 'cleared'. Implosion was conf town.

@zach/implosion, a little lylo/endgame tip in the future, look at the flips of the dead. I am a firm believer in the idea that everyone provides something so look at the dead players and ask what they would do in lylo. I had a mostly town wagon that wouldn't die, yet scum shot me. Why would they do that? Because I was never going to let Mirhawk get away with the even night doctor most likely. The dual jk claim is also something I wouldn't stand for. The dead may not point out an obvious suspect using this method, but that's helpful to say why scum didn't kill you.

FWIW I didn't think I'd make it all the way, but I kept trying to survive for just one more day. The choice of NKs was a pain too, and at one point I didn't know whether I should shoot someone or play a no-kill gambit.

Also, faking results was kind of tricky. I knew I was getting myself cornered, and I did have to shoot shannon bc if it was her and Zach/implosion in LyLo I'm dead certain they would've ended up lynching me.

Now the reason for my claim:

I may not have been under direct threat, but suspicion was mounting up, and I knew Dunn was blocked actually and that we did shoot Lapsa, so I went ahead and claimed JK, knowing if Airick ever got lynched it would work to my benefit!

I also shot Dunn NOT bc I was afraid he'd shoot me (that would've been fair), but bc I was afraid he'd shoot the wrong person and mess with my plans. He was the unpredictable element of it all, so I had to take him out before I got completely cornered with no way to go. That and I know he would've found me out eventually.

All in all, I was extremely lucky. beeboy suspected me but didn't investigate me. My fake claim served me well with the Motion Detector (imagine if I claimed a VT), Dunn trusted me, and Zach saw the light a little too late.
