his catchup spam is town motivated and proves that he's at least putting effort into the game, effort that will become important in the latter days when there's less players and less hyperposting. therefore, the lurker angle is irrelevant.

he's a new player and he's being very frank and transparent with his catchup posts. in this particular instance, i doubt echo would be shrewd enough to fake that as scum.

It's also worth mentioning that trying to form a meta read off of one or two games is bollocks, because it's the time during which you learn the most in the shortest period of time.

burden of proof is on the accuser, not anyone defending a player. . Suggesting otherwise implies that anyone who doesn't get defended is scum, which is really half-assed. It implies you can reasonably use "lack of [x]" as the ONLY justification for a lynch and face no scrutiny. It's a mindset that aids scum.


I'm not surprised that it's being done by Gin at all, I'm a tiny bit surprised it was done by Titus, I would be more surprised that no one really gives a shit this game and is living in an alternate universe but we're deep enough into it that any trace of normalcy has just vanished.

When players are in the noobie stages, it's quite easy to pick out their differences in play because they don't know how to mold their scum game to look like their town game.

In those two games he's played, his post quality has always remained level-headed and he's explained his thoughts in good paragraphs mostly every post.

In this game, he's of an abrasive nature and he mostly avoids giving his opinion in detail as he normally would. In a sense for noob!scums, they generally haven't picked up the skill of forming fake scum reads on players so they'll resort to insults or really weak logic to push their agenda.

If you want an example of why there is a key difference in play I notice, let's look at Echo's ISO, you'll see he said he townread Alisae, and when Alisae asked for Echo's reasoning, multiple times Echo just said it's because he does. It's a bad attempt at buddying and for his previous posting quality that we have seen from him, it would be expected that Echo could actually explain his reads.
