any smart scum would be playing the long game; whoever gets voted D1 doesn't matter (except insofar as you want to get into the league of extraordinary gentlemuffins). sac the D1 leader position (if scum gets voted, it's good for them, but if not, it doesn't matter), manipulate reads in such a way that you can vote scum on later nights is the long term plan for any smart scum team. there was obviously going to be a mass claim of votes; better to just be truthful about it D1 and manipulate shit later...

Thoughts on super-hero team mechanics all?

FA can choose up to EOD yeah?

Do we control it ourselves and tell FA who to do
Do we let FA do it as long as it's announced (pre/post overnight)
Do we let FA do it and not announce it
Should the heroes themselves announce their choice (assuming we decide to out who they are)
Should we tell the heroes what to choose
Should we get FA to tell the heroes what to choose (is this allowed? It would require out of game comms I think? So probably not?)

Don't announce it. And definitely don't announce who has what power.

@mod - upon flip, would it be announced any powers players have/had

from my understanding of it FA should choose and announce it before night is called, and I think if the heroes can choose their abilities they should actually not instantly claim cause then wolves know what people they should PR hunt first.

but I'll leave the mechanics for those who have read the things properly instead of lazily skimming it.

Not seeing the advantage of FA telling us before nightfall? FA is immune from NKs overnight correct? She can tell us tomorrow unquestioningly I believe and give the scum no info on the heroes she chose. Am I missing something?

ok 3 people claimed they voted me That is way under than what I thought I had

either scum really didn't have a pregame chat - they decided to split vote and allow town to choose people - or they voted me cause they think they can control me

if scum voted you and you're town, they don't have to lie about it. the 3 people that voted you making you leader leads to me thinking scum votes were spread out to avoid associative reads, especially if you won with just 3 votes. wolves can have pregame chat AND not coordinate their votes in any way, cause that leaves a readable paper trail town can figure things out with.

Coordination does not have to mean pile votes.

Coordination could also be spread votes out.

I'm not a big fan of anyone that's trying to discount coordination. But it the grand scheme of things, it's isn't really important D1.
