If the play is for the scum team to have two lurkers that just seems like a fast track to a loss.
If there is at least one scum in the lurking category, it's almost guaranteed they flee.
Like it would help if everyone increased activity for post D1 purposes but at the same time, it's not really reasonable for someone to come out and generate genuine pressure when the game focus is on Cakez.
So while it's nice to be able to say that there's probably one scum in the lurking category and one in the active category or two in the active category, that doesn't really help with determining who is partnered with the lurker that flees, because well, they haven't posted enough to be able to evaluate that kind of stuff.
Is the best play to generate more content given how it's just unproductive to sit on Cakez for the entire day? Possibly.
Are people going to be distracted by some shiny coin that isn't actually scum? Likely.
I can play the game of "who am I townreading so I can try to PoE a list of 17 players lol" so I can set myself up best for Phase 2, but realistically you can't comfortably lock people in as town with this little to analyse. You can have gut/initial reads on some of these players, but it's not like it's difficult for scum to make sure that they're basically above the scummiest player on the list when both town and scum have the incentive to AFK it out so it's NAI.-

DrippingGoofball -- Need more from them after doing the "ehh need to read the op brb, idk what setup is" and their play not seeing a significant change after rethinking how they're going to play or whatever, kind of fading into the background. More on their townreads would be nice.In post 539, Gorkington wrote:
can i get some words on why for these ones?mew wrote:{DrippingGoofball, SirCakez, Spiffeh, Cogito Ergo Sum}
SirCakez -- He's like trying to sell others to push a group of people instead of just pushing specific things, feels more like "shiny! someone help me push this" instead of "oh that's actually scummy, let me help myself instead of waiting for others to do it for me".
Spiffeh -- A bit too conscious of self in ISO for my liking, so a slot I would look at if Cakez ends up being town.
Cogito Ergo Sum -- Meh ISO, SR on me is fine but need thoughts on other slots. Don't like it if it ends up being fleeing scum.-

Hmmm... that's one steadily approaching countdown.
I submitted xyzzy and haven't switched... but now I'm curious as to whether scum would play this apathetically with little drive or direction to make it a case of "out of mind, out of the way of accuses". The problem is that accusing someone with CES can just be scum lazily reading me while staying "novel", or town misreading me as scum (I feel sorry for anyone that genuinely strong scum reads me when I am town and never changes this read or conviction).
I think a better question ask is not "how am I playing into scum's plan with Firebringer fleeing", but more of "Who is going to get no accusations and does it seem like they've purposely positioned themselves into this power spot integral to their win condition?"
There are a lot of players I think fit some semblance of perhaps they -might- have accusations coming their way but ultimately there are larger targets and more things to consider. I'm trying to decide if xyzzy is someone that has "towned it up" as scum or town just going about their daily lives. That's the main distinction that counts the most, and I don't see that with someone with Marquis.
How genuine are people's apathy/indifference to the Cakez wagon, and how genuine are people's ability to town it up? Neither group should be immediately excluded and I'm not going to be shooting blindly into scumreads I had before the flee like Spiffeh if they're coming off as genuine or otherwise real here.
