Last game I made it pretty clear I will never choose factional Scum over town or 3rd party. So unless I got 3 factional Scum roles Pintu knows that me as Scum with Elsa is not very likely.

Also the way I assisted in forcing the win last game I can see non town Pintu wanting to try and shade me here.

But I made it clear in the previous game I would rather be VT than Scum factional.
I don't believe others have that mind set.

so no one in this game is ascetic

i think i believe sakura when she says she'd always pick town, despite her scummy play

i think its more useful to let everyone know that any failed ability means they were fucked with
its also a really low value card, the likelihood of someone claiming it is low (cus any result on them ever disproves it)
and the risk of dying with it unclaimed outweighs the minor downside of claiming it (im not convinced there really is much downside, thinking about it)

plus, claiming it as my alignment card on d1 and not being countered makes me uniquely near-IC levels of town, because its very likely that i have the card (fypov), and its very easy to confirm that its not my role card.
which is like the best possible use of a trash card imo.

sk and alien cards are have powerful abilities that are much more attractive to be used as role rather than alignment
